Hello everybody!!!
Yeah, they are still scoffing. Nothing new happening and we have been feeling the disapproval (that word being an overly kind way to put it
), for a long while now. And so really, if and when I wake up on the morning of September 24... just that for me there is not going to have been one single thing that has changed. I will love my Father just as much as I did the day before! I will still know that the Revelation 12 Sign is in the sky and that very, very soon we are going Home. Only thing that will have changed, just that I know we are one day closer to Heaven!
I know there will be many people out there who are disappointed. It is my guess though, that these people... I am not saying that they don't know Jesus. But I am saying that they need to further mature in their relationship with Christ, and allow Jesus to work in them to increase their faith and their trust in Him. There are billions of people out there. Some have not heard about this sign at all. Many have though. I would say at the least, tens of millions. Of those millions who have taken notice of this sign, there are many different beliefs.
Some think for sure and on this exact day of September 23, the Rapture will happen. Some think it is all a lie and that we who believe in this sign are falling to the deception of Satan. Some think that CERN is opening up some stargate or some other thing that will usher aliens in to the world. Of those who believe this, some think these aliens coming are evil and will kill all of mankind. Some are looking forward to the arrival of these aliens and think that they are coming to help mankind, bringing peace, coming to "upgrade" humanity (these people, unless they wake up will most likely end up with the mark of the beast).
Go to youtube, type in September 23, and you will see so many different beliefs, what people are speculating and saying will happen. One thing we all have in common, I bet we are all of us WRONG. It's not going to happen exactly as we think. It is going to happen as God Wills It. And so as for me, I trust in Him. I fall closest to the category of believers who think that this sign is heralding the end of the Church Age. I don't necessarily think we are going Home on exactly September 23. But I do think we are going Home soon.
Last night, we were reading from John in our Bible Study. And then later I was by myself in our bedroom, ended up reading Matthew 16. It was pretty cool because I felt like God was telling me how the Jewish people who lived when Jesus walked the earth, that they were an adulterous and wicked generation. But that us too, the Gentiles, the Church today... we are also a wicked and adulterous generation.
Many people in the church are what I call modern day "Pharisees". Big names and all denominations. The business and corporate entity known as "church". Today's big, bad, corrupt, and apostate brick and mortar church that claims to be of God but is not. Because the brick and mortar church today... just like John Chapter 2 13-17; when Jesus saw all the people selling oxen, sheep, and doves in God's Temple; all the money changers in God's Temple. At seeing that, obviously Jesus became angry, kicked them all out, overturned the money changer's tables, and said: "Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise." I think that "house of merchandise" is exactly what today's corporations known as churches have become (aside from small, independent, churches who still truly glorify God and His Name Only).
All in this group, leaders; and followers (meaning those who are deceived and don't follow Jesus but instead follow whatever their particular church says; what their particular leader who is nothing more than a man says); all deceived. I'm not saying that none of them have Salvation. But I am saying that most of them are deceived and that Jesus would be just as angry with them as He was in John 2 with the salesmen, the money changers, and the Pharisees. Only difference is that Jesus was on earth and in His flesh body to be able to physically do something about it back then. Presently, He may not be here in flesh body... but HE IS HERE. And He is not going to let this continue.
Most of these thoughts come from reading Matthew 16. I think everyone should read it, and then compare the modern day church to the Pharisees and the Temple back then.
What I felt like The Holy Spirit was speaking to me as I read Matthew 16... The Jewish people in general, and especially the Pharisees, their greatest sin was they did not have any Faith. Most of them, ZERO Faith. They did not believe until God showed them a sign. The very first thing they demanded from Jesus in Matthew 16... a sign from heaven. They were a wicked and adulterous generation, because they had absolutely no faith. The majority of Jewish people need and demand a sign that they can see with their own eyes... or they are NOT believing.
Well, Jesus, He said to them (in so many words and not exactly what Jesus says but when I read it I read it with this inflection):
You IDIOTS! You can look up and tell what the weather will be like tomorrow. You can see when it is going to be a foul day or a beautiful day. And you can discern the face of the entire sky! But, you are so stupid because HERE I AM standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. Add to that all that you have already seen and that has already happened that you have SEEN with your own EYES. And yet you dimwits have no idea who I even am. You have zero capability to discern that which is spiritual. You have zero faith! And so the only "sign" I'm going to give you dumbos is the sign of Jonah. Because all of you need to learn how to have faith, how to trust God without constantly testing Him by demanding signs from Him as if He is some sort of slave to you who has to continually prove Himself. Why is it that you won't simply believe Him when He tells you something?
(I think that this is what God is going to teach them, and very soon! For right now though, they still have the same messed up and sinful doctrine.)
On the other hand, we have us, the Gentiles, the Church, our generation. We did have faith in Jesus. Even back when He was here in flesh we saw Him, and we trusted Him, and we believed in Him. We the Church have never demanded signs. In fact, it has gotten to the point to where even the word "sign" is looked upon by the majority of the Church as sin. We look upon it as astrology, as evil, as fortune telling, and a million other negative things we associate with "signs". And what I am trying to say I guess... just that we are no different than the Jews who did not have and still don't have faith. We want things "our way". And we also are testing God and treating Him as if He is nothing more than our slave by demanding He show us things in only the way that we want to receive them. It is the same thing! The modern day church has gone so far off the path, caring only about this world, content with all the material things here He has Blessed us with.
It's not that we don't see what is happening all around us; because we do. Go have a look at the Rapture Ready forum, a community filled with true believers. You will see end times and The Rapture being discussed at length and in detail. You will see them talking about many of the same things we do here at this forum such as all the evil around us in the world, animal die offs, earthquakes, and hurricanes. And saying that surely we are living in end times and that Jesus is coming back soon. But because the majority of the church has been taught, not only to not believe in signs, but that by doing so, if one does it that it is a grievous sin. This false doctrine of "there are no signs" and "God does not give us dreams or visions" and "there is no supernatural except for The Holy Spirit and that spiritual evil does not even exist and if it does and it impacts you it is because you don't truly know Jesus". Or then you have all the "prosperity gospel" people who think that if they give all their money to some human being who claims to be better than them or closer than God to them or whatever... give all your money though and then pray to be rich, to have mansions, and private airplanes, and all of this worldly and what amounts to DIRT and is NOTHING and is NOT what one should be praying for. But this is what people pray for because they are content to be where they are and in this world and to them, Heaven seems like some sort of fairy tale. They have no true interest in Heaven, no true interest in Jesus or His Return and in fact don't even want Jesus to return because that would mess up what they are doing here on earth. Just so many things! And it is us, it is the church whom has added, taken away from, and twisted so much the Word of God over the years... so much so that it is almost completely unrecognizable and this is why the brick and mortar church is completely unrecognizable. And it is why people who claim Jesus as their Lord and Savior laugh, make fun of, scoff, and party on while at the same time snickering... "Where is the sign of His Coming?"
Well... HELLO you ignorant and foolish people who scoff!!! Have y'all read your Bibles lately??? Because the lot of you are doing EXACTLY what it says that people will do in His Word. Only none of you realize it because you took that verse as if it was speaking to unbelievers. And you are too busy rolling around in the mud that is this world. For goodness sakes... WAKE UP!!!
We ARE to have FAITH. Complete faith and trust in Jesus. And this is why people who are believing that exactly on September 23, that Revelation 12:1-2 being fulfilled (which it IS and WILL BE though I won't go so far as to say the exact date, hour, or minute). I will say though that it is being fulfilled! Like... right now! Like... this is the time and the season the Bible talked about and so wake up! Anyways though, people who are putting all of their faith in this sign instead of putting it all in Jesus. Just my advice is, don't do that. Because it may not be exactly September 23 that we are caught up to Him. It might be before. It might be after. It might be on. What is certain though... this is the time. The same as when you leave work for the day, get in your car, and don't know the exact minute you will arrive at your house... It is the same now. What I am 100% confident in because I believe and trust HIM, is that we are in the car and on our way. We don't know the exact second we will get there. But we are going to be there soon! To my brothers and sisters who put all of their faith in the sign, and in the date September 23... don't do that. Put your faith in Him.
All of that said, the Jewish people are right in that God does give us signs. This IS the Revelation 12:1-2 sign and that is what I feel like The Holy Spirit has spoken to my heart. There is a minuscule possibility it is not (I say this because I have been raised up like most here and to not believe in signs and so no matter what first for me, just first for me is always my faith in Christ and not faith in signs.) I feel certain though, that it is time. Whatever... and if I am wrong, I am wrong; and Jesus is still going to love me just as much as He does now and when He comes whether I am alive in the flesh or dead in it and I know I'm going to be with Him! The Holy Spirit is telling me though... and unless I am misinterpreting what The Holy Spirit is telling me... We are going Home!!!! For the millionth time, maybe not exact September 23. But very, very soon.
Back to the Jewish people. There is much we can learn from them. They are God's Chosen people! And we are too! We have much we can learn from each other. We the Church can learn from the Jewish people that "signs" are not evil. And that God does use signs to show His People (all of us) what He is up to, what He will do before He does it, and God uses signs constantly to communicate with us. It is not astrology, not fortune telling, not of Satan (though Satan does copy and counterfeit everything about God and he does it with signs too).
Just saying... remember when the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out demons, said that Jesus was doing it by the power of Satan? Well... church... some of you are doing the same thing! When y'all say that God does not use signs, and that signs are of the devil, astrology, etc... THINK!!! Are you really comfortable accusing God like that? Saying that signs only come from Satan? Do you realize you are accusing God of showing us "signs" through the power of Satan? You are doing exactly what the Pharisees did when they accused Jesus of casting out demons by Satan! No, no, no and REPENT!
Signs are of God, and if there is a sign that is spoken of in the Bible that God has decided is important for us to know about and so He puts it in the Bible... Better believe it is FROM God, it is VERY important, and... as Donald Trump would say, YUGE!!!
The Jewish people can learn from us, to have 100% faith and trust in God, and more importantly in Jesus Christ. Because Yeshua IS God's Son and He IS the Only Way. Signs are not "the way". We can also teach them that we should not demand God to show us signs. When God tells us something, we should simply believe. God will show us a sign when HE wants to, when HE feels it necessary. But it is not for us to order Him around, demanding He show us signs. And we can learn from the Jewish people, just that each and every word coming from the mouth of man... to not just jump in head first and trust it, faith in it. There are many men out there who follow Satan yet claim to follow God. Many in the Church are so naive and they have so much faith but that faith is misplaced. That faith is put in whatever human being that happens to walk through the front door of their church. We can learn from the Jewish people to not simply take things at face value; but instead to test ALL things, and ALL people, against God and His Holy Word. Sometimes, signs that God has given us can be used to discern whether or not a thing is true, and whether or not a thing comes from God.
Ultimately, my faith lies in Jesus Christ. Not in September 23, 2017, but in Yeshua. And I know everything will work out perfectly. I know that, because He Is Perfect. And so no need for me to pray and ask Jesus please to come back on the 23rd. No need for me to have to defend myself if we are still here on September 24. I think, if we are still here on September 24, we should not engage at all in any conversation or argument or try and defend ourselves as scoffers descend, make fun of, laugh at, condemn, ridicule us, and as they celebrate their "victory" and their "being right".
I mean, Noah sat in the ark for 7 days before the flood came. I imagine people were right outside screaming obscenities at him, making fun of him for sitting in an ark for 7 days when it is as dry as a bone outside and in fact there probably hadn't even ever in history been what we know today as "rain", because God at that time *I think not sure* gave the earth water through the fountains of the deep. Whatever though and I do guarantee they were outside of that ark partying, gloating, making fun of Noah and his family. Did Noah yell things out the windows to try and defend himself? Did Noah try and reason with any of those people? I don't think he did. I think he probably just prayed for them. And so that is what I plan on doing. Because I know in my heart that belongs fully to Jesus; I know we are going Home very soon. God Bless everyone!
