It got brought to my attention tonight that Hurricane Harvey struck EXACTLY 12 years to the day after Hurricane Katrina made her first landfall in Florida. Creepy, eh? August 25. It was several days later that Katrina struck New Orleans, etc. Also interesting that Harvey is also doing damage to New Orleans through exasperating the flooding there.

Jim, This is one of those things where (personally) I wouldnt say that. There are a lot of things we have that we can certainly claim are beyond coincidence, but i'm thinking this doesnt fit. August is traditionally the worst month for Hurricanes, remember Andrew? How many hit on the 23rd?

Ok folks. Here is Connie's video: Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. Thank you silentknight! I'm getting ready to watch this now. So excited! Here in N. Myrtle it's really not that bad, at least not that I notice. We've gotten some rain and wind. Right now looking from the balcony and there are a few people out on the beach, a few people fishing. It's really cloudy, no rain at all at the moment (which is good and I'm not complaining). Edit: Also thank you Jim!

Absolutely...I should have expounded further cuz I had more on my mind, didnt you hear it When the eclipse was coming and everyone was so excited about it throwing parties and rushing to see it, WE knew it could be a sign of judgment. In order to help other understand that it was time to repent I began to look at other eclipses and see what coincided historically. To my surprise, I didnt find too much. There have been thousands of eclipses, many over the open ocean. Did they mean nothing, perhaps. So it is the same with hurricanes and other disasters, they all cant be signs can they? But I am reminded of the words of our Lord in Luke 13 " 1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

Yes, you have some good points Mike. I think it's almost as much of a sign that so few people have been lost in this storm so far, considering how many it could have been.

My husband just sent me this photo from work. I'm not sure who took the picture, so I can't offer a source to link to. He called it "Sharks at Houston Airport."

EDIT - my initial reaction, which I typed and posted was along the lines of when Sandy happened they got all the planes out of the area for fear of the wind. I couldnt imagine them not doing the same there. there was one (fake) of a shark swimming down the highway too...I remember when this started with 9/11. there was a kid photoshopped on top of the towers with a plane behind him. Remember that WE need to be careful what we are quick to believe. Especially with rampant fake news and deception around. WE dont want to propitiate fake stories while trying to spread truth!

Just now they've evacuated a 1.5 mile radius around a chemical plant that is in danger of exploding in Baytown. This is incredibly surreal to me for this stuff to be happening in Baytown which is the only place in Texas I have ever spent any significant amount of time. A few trips into Houston, a trip down to Galveston, but not much else other than driving in and driving out on I-10. When I was in Baytown I literally drove down every street at least twice for my work, other than a few privately-operated subdivisions. www.cnbc.com/2017/08/30/arkema-ceo-no-way-to-potentially-stop-an-explosion.html
