I also sent her a PM. She may be without power.
As soon as I posted the sentences above, Connie sent me a message. All is well so far.

Good to hear Connie is okay.
Update from today. Those of us on the East Coast and Gulf states need to prep for the possibility of one or two more storms to hit next week or the week after:

Remember we discovered Corpus Christi means "Body of Christ?" I just found the meaning of the name Houston is "heart, mind, spirit." Here's a link regarding the name:
"Last Name: Houston," The Internet Surname Database, 1980-2017, www.surnamedb.com/Surname/Houston

The flooding here is of Biblical proportions and that is no exaggeration. They're telling people to stay put in their flooded homes unless it gets so high you have to get on the roof because there aren't enough shelters or rescuers around. Never seen anything like this--
Interesting about the meaning of Houston-- never knew that before. Any thoughts on what this might indicate?
The water is rising on my street and the rain keeps on falling. I have an upstairs so the plan is to move essentials upstairs if it gets much higher but, at the moment, I have electricity, water, air conditioning, and plenty of food.
Thank you all for praying for us-- this is one for the record books.

Thank you all for praying for us-- this is one for the records books. Keeping you and all impacted by this in prayer. Do you live in Houston? I'm so, so sorry. It must be so scary. I've been watching on the Weather Channel. I'm so glad you still have power, that your house is not flooded, that you have food and essentials. Will continue lifting you up in prayer. I read somewhere on here (not sure if this thread or another or shout box); about maybe this could be symbolic of the water breaking (in regards to the Revelation 12 Sign). A random thought I also had, not saying it has anything to do with anything. In fact, I know it doesn't because this doesn't happen until after the birth and snatching up of the baby. But it did pop into my head: How once the dragon realizes he has been cast to earth and can not go after the baby, he then pursues the woman and so casts forth a flood of water from his mouth to try and carry the woman away; and then the earth opens her mouth and swallows up the flood.

I had the same thought-- maybe just because Rev12 is on my mind so much that I have it memorized. I don't suppose there's any connection, but could it be an preview? Or perhaps a type or shadow of what's coming soon? I really don't know. But it's not beyond me at this point to start praying for some earth/mouth opening, no kidding Houston is massive-- it's not just big, it's sprawling. I'm on the west side, outside of the loop but, yes, it's still Houston city limits.

I'm on the west side, outside of the loop but, yes, it's still Houston city limits. You are right. Maybe it is, like a foreshadowing of what is to come. One thing I know for sure, just that God is SO AMAZING and brings wholeness, completeness, and understanding... it is hard to put into words what He does and I see it over and over in His Word; just everything in it, it is living. He uses it and it applies to and it is perfect and pertains: to past, to present, to future; to beginning and to end; Alpha and Omega. I was reading Job this morning and... I don't know... just beyond any words that exist how incredible He Is, and how much my love, respect, admiration, longing for Him is. Maybe though, foreshadowing as you say: At first the Hurricane Harvey (iron, warrior, eager for battle) hits Texas... Rockport was hit very hard. Rock (God is our Rock, solid, security, unbreakable; also can mean to rock... like shake up violently). Port (a place where ships take refuge from a storm, place of safety). Also Corpus Christi (Body of Christ). Aforementioned places were evacuated and most people left, leaving the cities empty. Like someone else said, could be a metaphor of how Jesus will snatch we, His Body, away and to Heaven to be with Him before the Wrath of God, before the storm, hits earth. Everyone left before the hurricane hit the coast of Texas. People moved inland. Houston, most likely a place where many evacuated to, to ride out the storm. But now though, Houston is getting hit hard also. Not a hurricane and a different kind of storm, a flood. And Houston means heart, mind, spirit; so also, like the Body of Christ, what makes up the Body... the heart, the mind, and the spirit. It is right now being attacked, flooded, under water. Unprecedented amounts of rain and I don't know how much y'all have gotten so far, but I know I've heard forecasts ranging from 24 - 44 inches before all is said and done (can't even imagine that)! And that is where we are right now. We must wait and see what happens next. And most important, pray. I'm seriously praying right now for the earth to open her mouth and swallow all of this water, all of this flood. I'm so sorry because I know that this is something that I am watching; you are too; but you are personally experiencing it. No one but those experiencing it can truly understand. And so I pray for you, for all affected by this. I trust God with All and I know He will not only keep you safe, but comfort you, nurture you as He protects you, and let you know how much you are loved by Him. I think yes; a preview and a foreshadowing. We must Trust Him. Also put on our armor and fight With Him and For Him. I know it is so easy for me to say because I am not in the midst of this particular storm. I can imagine though because there is another storm that I am in the midst of, you are, and all of The Body of Christ is right now. A spiritual storm, spiritual warfare. We must trust Him, we must stay in His Word, we must stay in constant prayer, we must continually ask The Holy Spirit to guide us so that we may fulfill our purpose, to give us discernment, to stay close to us at all times; and to shun sin, to repent of it so that He can use us in this war and that we can do our part to help Him fight. And to die to self, die to flesh, die to pride and continually ask Him to keep us humble, to kill our flesh and our corruption and to yield ALL of ourselves to Him, to The Holy Spirit, to God. I just want to say, I know it probably sounds really fake and cheesy and whatever... but it is not and I really mean it... I love you all, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Let's fight this thing, all of us together, with Yeshua as our Head and His Father Yahweh IN COMMAND. We His Body still have sin to contend with right now, so we must be all the more careful. I think soon though, soon... we are not going to have to deal with that any longer. We will be as He Is now. And all because of HIM, His Sacrifice, His Love for us.

Thank you so much Tiffany for your encoura )gement! Just read an interesting article here (http://www.caller.com/story/weather/hurricanes/2017/08/26/corpus-christi-residents-breath-sigh-relief-prepare-cleanup/605451001/ ) In it, folks talk about being resigned. They thought this was the big one. One quote that I tried to copy/paste went something like, "You know what? If this is it, so be it." And then it veered over to Rockport and Port Aransas. Just for fun, I looked up the meaning of Aransas. Looks like it was named after a town with strong ties to Mary worship-- " www.google.com/search?q=aranzazu+meaning&ie=&oe= " Given Name ARANTZAZU. USAGE: Basque. From the name of a place near the Spanish town of Oñati where there is a sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Its name is derived from Basque arantza "thornbush". Also quite a bit about how the island was once home to a bunch of pirates

Wow! That certainly does say something. Catholics are so mistaken in the way they idolize Mary. Was she special? Of course! But she was just a woman, just a human being. Same with all of these "popes". Why do Catholics feel they need them? They are people, just as if not more sinful than any other person. Yet for whatever reason, Catholics think they should have to go to popes and priests and then the pope/priest goes to Jesus. NO! We ourselves can go to Jesus. It is WHY He Came! Not trying to bash Catholics. My husband is one, and his family all are. Me and hubby have gotten into some knock down drag outs over Catholicism. He says he believes as I do, in grace through faith in Jesus alone. I think he does truly feel that way. Regardless, it's not for me to judge his heart. I don't get though, the need he has to defend Catholicism. Because whenever we talk about it we almost always end arguing because he defends it, tells me I'm wrong and I don't understand it at all, that it is not like I say and they do not worship Mary or go to priests and popes for forgiveness. Anyways, older I get, the less is my love for arguing! I trust that Jesus will do the convicting, and the judging. For me and all who follow Him, to lovingly plant the seed. But then leave it, and let The Holy Spirit do His Work.

I do think we are seeing a symbology of the real life events that are about to play out in the days and years to come. Corpus Christi having dodged the major bullet is epic. Thank God! Rainfall totals showed they've only gotten about 3 inches there so far.
