I haven't watched the vid yet but people are going to say what they are going to say. If you are standing in truth you have a solid foundation and you can stand strong. Will we be raptured on Sept 23? Maybe, maybe not but the signs show a great possibility and they are the ones missing out by closing their minds off to possibilities. Yay for us... we get to have another very high watch time to be excited about. Btw... good rant yardstick! Lots of good points  Not only are they missing out on what many are experiencing watching God's word come to life, but they miss the opportunity to share that with a non-believer. Not that you can dump all of the information, but what a way to open a conversation about how real and accurate the Word of God is |

Its a shoddy job of research, from a pre-supposed 'experts' position that those who believe the events on September 23 must be wrong. It's a shoddy job of presentation which fails to systematically and logically lay out the actual FACTS about Sept 23 and scriptures related to them, before trying to debunk the hypothesis. The scriptures that he does quote are off-point. Instead, as I just said, he pre-supposes the the information he is presenting must be from flawed views. He sets up faulty arguments, straw-man arguments, and even a red herring or two to justify his position. The presentation was condescending, pompous and smug. No humility at approaching the topic to achieve the truth, regardless of whose idea it is. When he got his degree, did he ever have to take debate? Or just speech 101? His presentation reminded me of not just a milk-of-the-word sermon, but a watered down sermon at that. A far cry from the exegesis I have heard from Chuck Missler. Apologies again for another rant. I care about the truth, not whether one person's opinion is more important than someone elses. |

I suggest everyone go over to the website and enter a comment.... MAKE sure to start your comment with WTWT!!!! My biggest complaint has to be the number of times Ron' contradicted what Dr. Missler stated in several of His videos..... As uscgvet already pointed out....

I had to grin when he was chiding the 3 speakers for not "having the courage of their convictions" when they said they didn't know what would happen or if anything would happen. Had any one of them been sure of what they thought was coming and stated it, he would have picked them apart for being arrogant and not realizing that "no one knows the day or hour." You knew from the opening sentence this was not going to be in agreement with what we think.

Personally, I had a hard time watching. He's coming across harsh and it almost felt like an old fashioned scold session. There were any number of times when his word choice sounded derogatory and condescending. Honestly? It just made me sad. How hard would it be to just say something neutral like, "Not sure I'm seeing this the same way but we'll know soon. We're told to look up all the more as we see that day approaching so this is a good thing as long as everyone is careful." (SMH) This is exactly how I felt and because of that I did not watch the entire thing. Not because I disagree and so I don't want to hear any other viewpoint, not because I am close minded. But because of what Connie says above... the condescending, derogatory, "know it all" attitude. Worse than that, how demeaning he is being to his brothers and sisters in Christ. Also, the fact that it is being twisted, what we believe. At least; what I believe is being twisted (and I've heard other's who have expressed over and over the same opinion as mine). Which is... I'm not saying that the rapture is happening exactly on "September 23, 2017". I am NOT date setting. What I am saying: I believe that not only are we in end times, but I believe Jesus could come at any moment. Could be in 3 more seconds, could be in 3 more years. And yes, it "could" be exactly on September 23. Maybe, maybe not. However, it is TIME to be WATCHING. The Age of Grace is coming to an end. And for sure, when I look up in the sky right, that IS the Revelation 12 sign up there. I 100% believe what the Bible tells us in Genesis 4:14. The reason God created the heavens above us (not the Heaven He lives in, but the heaven we see when we look up); for SIGNS, for SEASONS (not fall, winter, spring, summer but for Feasts of the Lord). Now; He didn't create the heavens so that I could open up Cosmopolitan magazine and read my horoscope. He didn't create the heavens to predict or foretell my own personal future, successes I would have personally, failures, etc. That is called astrology and that is wrong. But He did create the heavens above us for signs; signs concerning/relevant to Him, an example soon to come August 21, God speaking not just to me, but to all of us, a warning to America. It's very sad, very hurtful, that our brother's and sister's in Christ twist our words, our intentions, and even our beliefs. Thank you Jesus that once we all get to Heaven, we'll be given glorified and sinless bodies. And we won't care one single bit about old wrongs that have been done to us, and old wrongs we have done to others. Romans 3:10: As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one." |
