One of the great things about being part of the family of God is that we can pray with and for each other, sharing our needs and heartaches, our blessings and praises. This thread is so that we can have some things that we are all praying about. My thought is to have one topic, so to speak, and then maybe a list of members praises and needs. So, if you would like to add things I will combine them with the next day's prayer. We'll see how that works. Please feel free to add a prayer of your own. Also if you have a broader topic to pray about please add it. Today will be for "frontline workers."
Heavenly Father,
We come to You today to lift up the doctors, nurses, and other medical staff who are taking care of others, sometimes at the risk to themselves. May they know that You are with them through the difficult, exhausting, and even lonely times. I also ask that You will please provide for those workers who have been given time off because there are not enough elective cases to keep them on staff right now. May the situations of all of these draw them to You. For those who know You, that they may lean on Your strength and understanding. For those that do not, that they may see Your mighty hand at work and want to know You personally. Open their eyes to Your truth. In Jesus's name, Amen.

I was also thinking if you have friends or family that are lost, we can have a list for them, too.

Today: the sick and their families (not just coronavirus)
Praises: God provided for boymaker to be able to pay for her needed dental work, my FIL was able to go home from the hospital
Heavenly Father, We come to you today on behalf of those who are dealing with illnesses. We know that You are the Great Physician. You also created our bodies and know how each and every single part and cell works. We ask for physical healing, but we also ask that whatever the illness is that it will cause the person to draw near to You. As they wait for healing, may they turn to You and trust in You. May they seek You for spiritual healing. And because we are at a time when visitors are being limited or in many places not allowed, we ask that You will comfort families who may not be able to be with their sick loved ones. We ask that You would give strength and wisdom to those who are caring for loved ones at home, whatever the illness. Thank You for those who You have brought healing to, and may those who do not get healed come to know You so that they will have complete healing in the life to come. In Jesus name, Amen.

For Saturday and Sunday: families
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray specifically for families. There are many now who are trying to balance working, caring for their kids all day, and even having to do school with their kids. It's hard to balance everything plus have no sports or outside the home things for kids to go do. Much tension can happen. I know in my own family I am thankful for warmer weather. I ask today that You would help parents be able to focus, to balance things, prioritize the right things. Help them to see the good things that are happening. May they find rest and wisdom in You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Monday: pastors
Heavenly Father, We thank You this morning for the pastors and teachers that You have given us. We know that many of them are struggling with various things during this time. Some are having to learn new technology so they can continue teachings their flocks. Some are live streaming and others doing prerecorded messages. We are thankful that Your Word goes out. There is frustration of not being able to meet as a congregation. We are thankful for those pastors who are encouraging others to minister outside the church building. It's a great reminder that the church is the people, and we can still minister to one another in various ways. We are thankful for technology that can keep us in touch with each other. We ask that You give pastors the wisdom and strength they need. May they rest in You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Tuesday: believers
Heavenly Father, Thank You for creating the family of believers. We get encouragement from one another, knowledge, love, strength, blessings, the list goes on. We ask today that You would give us the strength we need to finish well. Like Paul's prayer in Colossians-- may we be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing to You: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. In Jesus name, Amen.

Wednesday: the lost
Heavenly Father, Thank You for the wonderful gift of Your Son. All of us have someone we love in our life who does not know Him. We ask that You help us to be diligent in praying for them and witnesses to them. We know that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation, that there is power in Your truth. May they be cut to the heart as those in Acts were. May they see the signs of the time that we are in and ask their believing family, "What must we do?" We also pray for those we do not have contact with. May they hear the truth, see the evidence for You, see You at work, something to get their attention, and turn to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thursday: leaders
Heavenly Father, This morning we lift up our government leaders to You. We pray that You will give them wisdom today in the decisions they make. May they consider what is best for their city, or state, or the nation and not seek personal gain or recognition. May they also consider that You are the one that is ultimately in charge and they will have to answer to You. May the situations they are in bring them to You. We thank You for those serving in the government who are believers. We ask that You will give them the strength and courage to do what is right and to speak the Gospel to those they work with. In Jesus name, Amen.

Friday: financial concerns
Heavenly Father, We are so thankful that we can come to You with our concerns and worries, our needs, our tears. Thank You for caring for us. There are many right now who are struggling with so many things. One of the biggest being financial concerns. For believers, we ask that You will make a way when it seems that there is no way. Please give them comfort and peace, knowledge that You are caring for them. May these worries also turn many hearts to You. We know that trying times are coming, and we desire many to rely on Christ and not the things of this world. In Jesus name, Amen.

Take a look at this: 14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: 15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. 16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or [that] thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

Saturday and Sunday: hurting people
Heavenly Father, We are thankful that Your Word tells us that You are a God who is near. You are a God who sees and who sympathizes with our weaknesses. You know how to care for the brokenhearted and comfort those who are hurting. We ask today that You will remind those who are hurting of these truths. May they lean on You and allow You to ease the hurt, whether it is from loss and grief, depression, anxiety, loneliness, or a host of other things. May You bring to our minds those who may be hurting so that we can show them the love of Christ. It's in His name we pray, Amen.

Monday: day of thanksgiving
Heavenly Father, We take a moment today to remember all the things that You have given us and done for us. We have the beauty of creation. We have the gifts of Your Son and Spirit. We have this forum as a place of worship, learning, friendship. Each of us have many ways that we can praise and thank you this day. We are blessed indeed. In Jesus name, Amen
(take time to thank Him for the ways He has blessed you personally)

Natalie, I'd like to add my prayer of thanks to yours for the day. My 17 y.o daughter has been very unwell for well over a month now. She's been in hospital multiple times, had countless trips to the doctor, missed 7 weeks of school. Today I got home from work and she was out of bed, dressed, and sitting at the table doing some school work! She's eaten 3 small meals and had no painkillers today. Thank you Lord!!! He's kept us safe throughout it all; the hospital and doctors surgery is the last place we wanted to be at this time. I'm so thankful for the care she's had, that she's starting to feel better, that she didn't require surgery, and most importantly, that the Lord has blessed her with faith to trust Him throughout the whole situation. I haven't spent much time on Unsealed in the last few weeks, but reading this thread tonight has been a soothing balm to my soul. Thank you😊
