Tuesday: Israel
Heavenly Father, We know that Your Word says to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And so we pray that Your peace will settle in the hearts of the Jewish people. May they soften their hearts and turn their minds toward You, knowing that if they search earnestly for the truth that You will show them. May they see the truth in their Scriptures and come to know true peace by coming to know the Prince of Peace. We pray for wisdom for Israel's leaders. And we pray that they put their trust in You and not anything man can do. We thank You for keeping Your promises to Israel for in doing so we can trust Your promises to us. We look forward to the blessings that will be poured out on them when they come to Jesus. It's in His name we pray, Amen.

Wednesday: persecuted church
Heavenly Father, We come to You today on behalf of Christians worldwide who are being persecuted. We pray that they will stand firm in their faith and place all their trust in You because You are trustworthy. We also pray for those doing the persecuting. May they see the Gospel at work and hear the truth so that their hearts can also be changed. We have read how Paul was changed and know that Jesus changes people. We pray for comfort for those who are separated from their families because of persecution. May they lean on You and the promises in Your Word. For this is not our home. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thursday: faithfulness (the next few will be specific prayers for believers)
Heavenly Father, We thank You, Father, for sending Your Son. We are thankful that we have a High Priest who intercedes for us. We are grateful that we can come to You through Him. We ask today that You will strengthen our faith where it is lacking. May we also be able to stand for Your truth and turn from everything else. Help us to run and not grow weary. May we be able to keep our mind on the things above and not the things of this earth, for in that we also know that we will have peace and rest. Remind us that You have all that we need and our treasure is stored with You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Friday: love
Heavenly Father, We know that Your Word says that "God is love", and that people will know we are yours by our love - a love that comes from You. We ask today that You will fill us with Your love for others. May it come out in the way we talk and interact, in the way we live and the things we do for others. May we be motivated by Your love and not by some selfish thought. May it be a testimony to who we follow. In Jesus name, Amen.

Monday: holiness
Heavenly Father, We thank You today for the work of the Spirit in our lives. We know that through His work we renew our minds, resist temptation, can love others properly, understand Your Word, and so much more. We pray today that You will help us to keep our mind from worthless things, to fix our mind on the things above, to live holy lives set apart for You. May we be in this world but not of it, ever looking for the city whose architect and builder is God. In Jesus name, Amen.

Tuesday: missionaries
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for the missionaries throughout the world. We ask that You would thoroughly equip them for the spiritual battle they are in. We ask that You would open doors that seem shut, open ears that are closed, and soften hearts with the Gospel. We ask that You will be their comfort when it's lonely, their healer when there is sickness, and their light when it seems so very dark. We also pray for those who have accepted Your truth and trusted in Jesus. May they continue to serve Him only and grow as disciples. In His name we pray, Amen.

Wednesday: families
Heavenly Father, We thank You for creating the family. We pray today for families, a lot of them who have been spending much more time with each other. With that we know comes new stresses and frustrations. We pray that they will turn to You for guidance, restoration of relationships when needed, the strengthening of the marriage. We ask for wisdom for those who are balancing work, childcare and school work. We ask that You will guide those who are looking for work. And for those who do not have a complete family for one reason or another, we know that You are a Father to the fatherless, and a comfort to those in need. May they know Your love and care. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thursday: Thankfulness
Heavenly Father, We come today before You as grateful children. Every good thing has come from You, and we have much to be thankful for. You are a God who desires to bless His children. We pause today to thank You. We also know that no eye has seen nor ear has heard what You have prepared for us. Our greatest blessing is the salvation provided in Jesus and the treasures of eternal life with You. We long for the day when our faith will be sight and we worship in full truth. In Jesus name, amen.

Friday: hope
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to lift up those who are despairing, battling depression and anxieties. There is so much fear and uncertainty, and many are struggling with finding hope. We know that hope is found in You - You are the God of hope who can fill them with joy and peace. We pray that they will reach out to others and to You. May they know that in putting their faith in Jesus better things are ahead - maybe not in this lifetime, but definitely in the life to come. And even if things don't get better here, there can be peace in the waiting. In Jesus name, amen.

Monday: prayerful people
Heavenly Father, We come to You this day as a people who have great needs, who have family and friends with great needs, who see nations with the great needs. Physical and spiritual needs. We also know that prayer can be our greatest resource, yet many times we neglect it. We ask today that You would clothe us with Your armor so we may battle where necessary, that You would call to our hearts to come and meet with You, that we would remember that we can come to the throne on behalf of all these needs. May we be a people in communion with You, sharing our needs, and praises, and thanksgiving always and without ceasing knowing You hear us. In Jesus name, amen.

"We come to You today to lift up those who are despairing, battling depression and anxieties."
This is my lifelong battle. Often not related to spiritual things at all, just the body of sin and death I was born into. I'm grateful for this prayer sister.

Tuesday: weariness
Heavenly Father, Thank You Father for being our rock and our fortress, for being our strength when we have none left. Many of us are weary; the spiritual battle is very real. I ask today that You will help us finish the race and fight the good fight. May we keep pressing forward as we see the Day approaching. May we remember to come to You again and again. Help us to be able to take the hope we have to an unbelieving world that desperately needs You. So many of them are weary also but have no source for strength. In Jesus name, amen.

Wednesday: flooding
Heavenly Father, We know that You are the one that created the seasons and controls the weather. Spring can often be a time of lots of rain. And even though rain is necessary, there are areas that have recently received too much at one time. We pray for those who are dealing with flooding and the loss of property. We know that it will take much time to clean up from it. During this time, may they look to their Creator for peace and strength. May believers reach out in support and point people to Jesus. It's in His name we pray, amen.

Thursday: India area
Heavenly Father, We come before You today to pray for those in India and Bangladesh who are being impacted by the giant storm. It is hard to read about the destruction and loss of life. We ask that Your light would go forth and shine. May believers see the opportunities to speak the Gospel and love their neighbor. May those who are grieving the death of loved ones turn to the true God. May many who are lost be found - physically and spiritually. In Jesus name, amen.
