I kind of remember that Jewish tradition at the time of the Savior's ministry was that a person could die and come back to life after 3 days. And as the reference goes, it was for that reason that the Savior waited until the 4th day to bring Lazarus from the tomb.
Just going off memory but I do not place much stock in Jewish tradition.

Another update from Dan Matson at watchfortheday.org A lot of mathematical tie ins with the comet NEOWISE and significant past and future dates including 10/28/2020 get on Ark date. Last diagram is kinda humorous to me. Is God gauging the temperature of the world with the comet? watchfortheday.org/15july2020.htmlIf I can be totally honest here, I have not been able to absorb Don Matson’s stuff ....and that bothers me. He shows the rapture on 9-28-20.....is he basing this on the stars alignment or what? is there something in the stars that also indicates Christ’s second coming date in September of 2027? AND, if he shows the rapture at 9/28, I can’t tell when he shows the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week taking place. Does anybody know this? thanks, klaatu

Video from Barry Scarbrough discussing what I started this thread with. That is that October this year could be start of tribulation and the rare American solar eclipse which will happen April 8th 2024, thereby completing the "cross" across America would be the mid-point. The mid-point according to Daniel 9 being the Anti-Christ and the Abomination of Desolation. Although he mentions Oct. 8th 2020 instead of 10/28/2020 as the start of tribulation. He is using 3.5 years instead of 1260 prophetic days. That makes a difference. I'm more inclined to use 10/28/2020 because of some other evidence I mentioned in earlier parts of this thread. Read back through that. But is what he says possible? of course. Listen all the way through and make up your own mind. Either way something is happening then, imo. [Edit] He mentions Gary so I included his link. Gary talks about some of it here in his article a little over halfway through. www.unsealed.org/2020/05/an-emergency-government-for-time-of.htmlSo if Pre-trib, the rapture could occur then. Maybe Spring of 2021 at the latest if there is a gap of some sort. Again, based on some of what I posted earlier in this thread. And if Pre-Wrath, then we would probably be here until that April 2024 date or shortly thereafter. sog ,Joe ,disciple4life ,firefrorefiddle ,Natalie ,venge ,stormyknight ,Gary ,
Incredible video, sog . Lots of things line up. I would like to get your take on why 10/28/2020? What is the significance of that date?
He says he thinks Harpazo is Spring of this 2020. That doesn't work. Spring Feasts are already past - **Leaving the really obscure possibility that we have a Pentecost rapture - which would be this next Sunday, May 31. hmmmmm. Then, all bets are off until Yom Teruah- The feast that "No One Knows the Day or Hour," which is literally "Day of Shouting".
I really think he is on to something big here - a huge huge key to this is the water breaking connected to the Sea of Galilee- which is the first time it has been filled (and overflowed) in over 30 years.
He says that the Tribulation - start of the 7 years - little "t", which he says starts on Oct 8th of 2020.
This also fits perfectly with the theory that we have a rapture -at Feast of Trumpets, and there is a small gap.
***He really goes off the reservation at 45:11 mark and talks about the trumpets being for war- and tries to link 'trumpets/ Feast of trumpets with war - with the second coming, but this is clearly not scriptural at all.
Though Christians disagree on the specific sequence of events - Paul explicitly states that the Harpazo happens at the Last Trumpet, and Rosh Hoshanah has multiple themes - but war is not remotely in them - it's the wedding of the Messiah - Fits perfectly with Christ's parable of the rapture - a wedding. 5 foolish bridesmaids, and it's the day of shouting, and it's the Last Trumpet- Tekia Gadolah - the 100th blast of the shofar when the New Moon is sighted by two witnesses, and Jews everywhere believe Rosh Hoshanah is the resurrection.
***I'd give this video 4 stars for the fantastic concepts - and insight. Some major flaws - which underscore his credibility
He clearly has no clue of the meaning of the very vulgar and offensive word "wussie" which is the combination of "wimp" and "p*##y" -- so vulgar - I can't write it. Just imagine how offensive if he repeatedly used the N-word in his video. hmmm.
And I have to point out that he is absolutely and categorically wrong in stating that the Jews have committed the Unpardonable sin. ** Think about it- the unpardonable sin is Unforgiveble - meaning that they cannot be forgiven, and this is explicitly contradictory to what scripture teaches. The Jews who have rejected the Messiah will be given a second chance - **Time of Jacob's Trouble - Not Ashley's Trouble, not Travis' Trouble, Not Brandon's Trouble. [Insert the most American name you can think of - no Bible names allowed. hehehe] There is no difference between Jews who don't accept Christ and devout Catholics who aren't born again, and the tens of millions of religious Americans who believe in God, but don't accept him as Savior, or the millions of Russian atheists. These will be part of the tribulation saints, but most theologians agree that they will be martyred for their faith.
Maranatha,
Disciple4life Wow....this is an awesome post D4L....THANKS. one point if I may....the small gap between harpazo and start of the 70th week has always made sense to me because I seriously doubt some covenant is being confirmed right when millions of people from earth are now reported missing. but then that takes me back to this point.....what CAUSES the covenant to finally get confirmed? And what do you think this covenant exactly is? Some peace treaty or what? ps.....you are totally spot on in saying the rejection of Jesus by the Jewish Sanhedrin was not the unpardonable sin for the entire nation today. I agree, this is why there will be purging through the GT.....the remnant will finally have their eyes opened to the truth.

First, welcome to the forums!
Dan Matson puts a lot of math and info in his stuff. It's easier to follow if you follow him on Facebook, but it still gets to be too much, for me anyway. He isn't saying for sure when the rapture is...he just makes predictions based on history and math. I think the date for Sept 2027 is Feast of Trumpets. A lot of people think Jesus will return on that feast day. Working the math backwards will give a date for possible rapture/ and or start of the 70th week - sometime this Sept or Oct. I have been busy with other stuff, so I haven't been trying to keep up with Dan's stuff.

mike , my understanding of Kaduri is that he was a believer. It was revealed in a letter opened after his death. Yes He may have been, but like many other "prophets", well intended or otherwise, I intend to exercise extreme caution with them (think Harold Camping). Not judging his heart as that is not my job...But to live under false pretense, teaching against the gospel (Judaism) his fruit certainly would not have matched what he claimed to believe (cryptically - post-mortem). This is not what the Lord instructed. From that perspective I have a hard time 'trusting' what this man may have said. Is it interesting? Sure. Maybe I'm mistaken and he came to believe on his death bed and then wrote this? Tried and true prophets have their words etched in Gods Word until He returns to reign. Did Kaduri live a life like Jeremiah, Isaiah, Paul or any of the other Jewish rabbis who became believers? If he did I think we'd have heard about him. Others so called prophets may be correct, perhaps not. My trust is in the Word alone, all else that we put hope in can and I believe does/will lead us astray. Those are my thoughts on these as well as the Coverstone et al visions, etc. I am not flat out dismissing but am not putting faith into them either. Hi Mike, you and I are of one voice on all these visions, dreams, and prophecies being thrown around out there. I too put none to little stock in them. Besides, if you are not correct in 100% of such, then you are a false prophet, yes? Maybe you can’t say that about dreams, but nevertheless, I’m very skeptical reading such. Not to say I won’t listen and weigh myself, and I’m not saying my cautious attitude is the only right path to take....but it is for me.....unless the Lord hits me over the head....

Thanks for the warm welcome Natalie. I’ve been reading Gary’s stuff for several years but until this week, I’ve been in the closet. His Turning Point article got me to come out. The implications of a 2027 second coming have aroused much interest in me which has moved me to look at things a bit differently from my previous thinking. I agree...the feast of trumpets EVERY year should be a high watch day, especially this year, so I’m sure watching, praying, and hoping. as for Dons stuff, I think I will just wait for the readers digest commentaries from people like sog, d4l and yourself. It is safer that way. 😁

klaatu - I'll echo Natalie and say Welcome! I have resided on the skeptical side of things when people say "God said this" or "showed me that". I won't say God didnt give these people dreams about the months ahead of us, but I am not going to run around screaming "destruction is coming in November" because someone Ive never met or heard of said God showed them something. If it happens that way, if I see DC on fire (not a spiritual one, but literal like his dream said) then I will point to that, not before. In my own life I don't do this. Perhaps thats why I dont really dream (or at least remember any of them). I am not one to say "God said this or that..." unless its in the bible. Even during my restoration back to him I was not quick to say "God showed me this or that" I just told people I was trusting in Him and that He loved me and cared for me. You can read a bit of that testimony here. As for the Kaduri, Shoshani and others even Enoch...they may or may not be correct. I would say that I would look at it, but I put 0% faith in them. The Jews that reject Christ should not be considered prophets in my estimation, but I could be wrong. I'd rather be wrong about trusting them, then wrong about trusting His Word! EDIT - sog - apologies for getting off topic here.

klaatu, up above you asked what CAUSES the treaty to be confirmed. My guess is the Psalm 83 war. From what I understand this will be a fast, dirty, costly war. Possibly brought about by the confusion embroiling the world after the Rapture? Once the war comes to a conclusion, the AC will step in to provide a longed-for treaty that supposedly guarantees peace. A lot of people like to speculate that Ez 38-39 war is in the works, but I just don't see it due to the massive armies that must be in place. And I don't see how they can be amassed like Ezekiel describes with Israel being armed with nuclear weapons. Maybe an Israeli nuclear strike vs Damascus is part of the Ps 83 war? And this leads to nuclear disarmament of Israel in the abovementioned treaty? I'm not dogmatic about any of the above. Just tossing out ideas that I've mulled over.

Syria and Iraq are a mess...Lebanon (Hezbollah) aren’t very formidable next to Israel. Jordan, Egypt, and the Saudis are all peaceful with treaties or Newfound respect because they both hate Iran. I’m just not sure I see those inner nations being a threat. 2. as for the Gog nations, consider this....if we had a rapture, who would be weakened the most? Probably the USA. That just might embolden some nations to get aggressive. Plus, don’t forget Ezekiel 38 tells us how the war gets started.....God PUTS A HOOK INTO THEIR NOSES AND LEADS THEM IN..... 3. as of today, Turkey, Iran, Libya, Russia....I can see all of these countries wanting to defeat Israel for various reasons....especially for their resources (plunder). like you, I do think a war, especially one where Israel is victorious again could be the force needed to get people to sit down and hammer out a peace treaty.....if we think a peace treaty will be the covenant confirmed.

klaatu, could be, this all remains to be seen. The rapture will be such a game-changer, there's no telling who might try to take advantage of a bizzare situation. And if Pelosi is suddenly President Pelosi, well that's like a bowl judgment all by itself! A really nice, mellow brother named Ross has a YouTube channel called newnews. Ross is a big proponent of the Psalm 83 war about to erupt. He has influenced my thinking, no doubt. And the sheer logistics needed to bring in the huge Gog-Magog invasion force simply aren't in place right now. So, in a world that is very disrupted due to the rapture, economic chaos, and Israeli political infighting...just maybe Assad of Syria thinks he can take advantage and decides to launch a WMD attack on Tel Aviv. Turkey, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the other thugs jump into the mix. Damascus is vaporized and it's game on for Psalm 83. The Lord delivers in a big way for Israel. Nobody wants to go down that path again, so when slick Mr AC says he has an idea that will solve everything, well, you know the rest of the story. I've always wondered how Israel could feel threatened by a gigantic land invasion when they can simply obliterate any army with multiple nuclear weapons? Who would even begin to contemplate such a move, knowing the invasion force would simply be a very large vulnerable target for Israeli H-bombs? I understand the "Hook in Jaws" principle compelling the invasion force to do its thing. But I never have been able to rationalize Ezekiel 38-39 unfolding while Israel possesses nuclear weapons. Trying to figure out how they could be disarmed so the Lord can receive glory for their deliverance, as described in scripture. Maranatha!

So, I was thinking about this more last evening and this morning. I did want to make a distinction here. When I hear about people saying "Thus saith the Lord..." I think of Jer 23:25-40 & Deut 13:1-11. What distinction I want to make is there are well meaning believers as previously mentioned who just simply get it wrong. When someone says "God says this will happen" and then it doesnt what do we do? Are those heretical false prophets? Not always. Should listen to them as if they are speaking doctrine? I dont think so! The wait and see approach... I do think we will see Deut 13 happen when we see 2Thes 2:9-10 coming to pass. I also think we will see and even are seeing those who Jer 23 describes when we realize the end days are here and the King is coming yet many will say 1Thes 5:3, but incorrectly like the false prophets did

So after making this post, I came across this discussion. They cover this topic better than I do in the first several minutes. While I do not agree that the Rev 12 Great Sign was meaningful, it was not as hoped for in that it was the rapture date. As they continue to state that we rely on scripture, Rev 12 is in scripture and happened in the sky.
