mike, Good stuff. Stay within the word of God. Also interesting that they talk about people not being in the word as much as in the past. Cites a survey that says Bible reading down from 14% (which is bad enough) to 9%. That saddens me. Tom Hughes also says that the enemy has become effective in separating people (read coronavirus) and thus Christians have a harder time inspiring each other (iron sharpens iron). Seems we are in the midst of a possible falling away as discussed in 'Worship Voices Silenced?' and other falling away thread discussions. "Get the word in your life" - Don Perkins. Amen. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Ok, ya'll obviously are not making the connection to Mark 13:32, Matt 24:36. EVERYTHING that has to do with the Rapture is tied into the ancient Galilean Jewish wedding traditions. If you're reading your Bible as you should be, then you would see that this is what ALL of the references to weddings is about. The father of the groom is the one who decides when the wedding will be held. HE's the one that chooses the day and hour. So, here's your context of those verses. The reference Jesus makes to the Apostles (John 14:3)... going to build a mansion of many rooms. That's what the groom and his father would do, in preparation for bringing the bride home from her parents' house, to fulfill their wedding covenant. They would, together, either add onto the father's house, or build an entirely new home for the future bride. Then, when the father decides that it's the day, and the hour, to hold the wedding of his son and his bride, the groom would go and with loud fanfare, music, blowing of the trumpet, would go and literally snatch his bride up from her parents' home, where she has been preparing for that day, always ready, but never knowing exactly when the day would be, either. The groomsmen accompanying the groom (remember what John the Baptist called himself... a groomsman, a wedding guest, but not the groom?) would then literally lift her up, and place her into a litter, and then carry that litter on their shoulders to her new home. It would happen late at night. Then, for 7 days, the couple would close themselves up inside their bridal chambers, and consummate their marriage. Isn't this what the Great Tribulation Age is? The 7 years equals the 1 week of the wedding celebration/consummation of the marriage. Isaiah 26:20 confirms this. The wedding at Canna was a picture of this... where do you think the bride and groom were at, while their wedding guests were celebrating their wedding? The guests were waiting for the couple to come out at the end of the 7 days, to join them at the wedding feast. Isn't this what we see in scripture? The Apostles recognized these traditions, as they were ALL Galileans, including Jesus! They ALL knew what He was referring to!
Here's the next clue, and ya'll are skipping right over it. Keeping it in the Jewish perspective, the context of Scripture, you will see how it is fulfilled. Stop putting it in a 'Gentile' perspective. When you put it in the ancient Jewish context, then you can see everything as clear as a bell. The Jewish do not recognize Spring and Fall as seasons. ONLY summer and winter. How do I know this? Because I asked several Jewish rabbis, to confirm it. And they all said the same thing. It is the Spring and Fall Equinoxes that divide the two seasons. The Spring Feast Days have already been fulfilled. The Fall Feast Days are yet to be fulfilled. However, they will NOT be fulfilled until Jesus returns to actually step foot on the earth, just as He did, in His 1st Advent. So, to time the Rapture to a Feast Day, when Scripture (Leviticus 23/25) specifically state that these are Sabbath days (and what does Matthew 24:20 say? NOT on a Sabbath day, and NOT in winter). In fact, if a Feast Day falls on a regular Sabbath day, then it is considered a double Sabbath day. So, Rapture isn't going to happen on a Sabbath day, but everyone here is choosing those Feast Days, when Scripture says no! The Fall Feast Days will be fulfilled in this manner... Feast of Trumpets (Yom Te'Ruah) is when Jesus actually returns to step foot on the earth... in a loud fanfare announcing the change of coronation, change of rulers. Satan has been ruling the earth for the 7 years of the Great Tribulation Age, right? That's what the 'Last Trumpet' signifies... a change in rulership of the earth, the Father relinquishing the earth to Satan, turning the earth and its inhabitants over to Satan. Then at the 'Great Trump' at the END of the Great Tribulation Age, it is blown again, and this signifies the END of the 'Great' Tribulation Age, a change in rulership again... Jesus taking the earth back from Satan, to rule over into the Millennial Reign. This happens on Yom Te'Ruah! This is when Armaaggedon ends and Satan is bound in chains, to be held until Yom Kippur, or Day of Atonement, where he will stand before Jesus, along with all the rest of the chaff and wheat, and this is where Jesus will hold the Bema Seat Judgment, from the third temple built during the Great Tribulation Age... where Jesus will rule from in the Millennial Reign. This is the day that Jesus will judge those lacking, and send them to their 1st death, to be held until they are resurrected at the Great White Judgment Seat at the end of the Millennial Reign, to stand before Father, who will judge all of mankind. It is from this Judgment Seat that they suffer the 2nd death. Back to the end of the Great Tribulation Age, and the advent of the Millennial Reign. After the Bema Seat Judgment on Yom Kippur, then the Millennial Reign begins, on Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot, where Jesus will literally tabernacle with us on earth, He will once again live with us here on earth, walking the earth as He did in His 1st Advent, nearly 2,000 years ago.
Here's another clue as to how close we are. Anyone remember the scripture where Jesus went into the synagogue at Nazareth, at the beginning of His ministry (Luke 4). What Scripture did He read from the Torah? Isaiah 61... the first 3 verses, and then He stopped. Why didn't He continue with the rest of the chapter? Because after verse 3, they ALL referred to the Millennial Reign period, yet unfilled. However, go back and read Isaiah 61:1-3. What is Jesus declaring when He is reading those verses? The Year of the Lord, or Jubilee Year. He was setting a date marker! He knew that the records of the Jubilee cycles would be lost when the 2nd Temple, Herod's Temple, would be destroyed, in 70 AD. They would be lost forever. Yet, here He is, setting a date, a year. We're not to know the day or hour, but we ARE to know the year! So, let's think on this for a moment. Understanding Leviticus 23/25, we know the Shemitah cycles... 7 years is a Shemitah cycle, and there are 7 cycles in a Jubilee cycle... 49 years, plus the Year of the Lord, or Jubilee Year, means 50-year Jubilee cycles. We know that Jesus was crucified in 30 AD (He was 33 years old at the time of His crucifixion... we know that He was born in 3 BC, because that is when Caesar Augustus ordered the census that required Joseph, and his pregnant wife, Mary, to be in the town where Joseph was born in, Bethlehem... archaelogical records prove this to be that this was the year the census was held). So, Jesus' ministry in His 1st Advent started in 27 AD. He read Isaiah 61:1-3, setting a date marker, in the beginning of His ministry. Let's count forward the number of Jubilee cycles since 27 AD. Forty cycles (a holy number) brings us to 2027 AD. So, we know that 2027 AD is going to be a Jubilee Year... and that's when Jesus is supposed to return to actually step foot on the earth.
Ok, 2027 AD, subtract Daniel's 70th Week, or the Great Tribulation Age, of 7 years. That brings us to 2020-21 AD (where we're at now). Well, the Hebrew calendar doesn't start until the first Full Moon AFTER the Spring Equinox. That's when the summer season begins, at the Spring Equinox. We have until the Fall Equinox to bring us to winter. So, we're looking at just a few more weeks before September 21st, when the Fall Equinox is. The Fall Equinox falls 4 days after the 10 Days of Awe begins, on Yom Te'Ruah... that's September 18th/19th... and that's a Sabbath day... so based upon the above... a double Sabbath day. Jesus said not on a Sabbath day (Matth 24:20). Why are we looking at the 10 Days of Awe as significant? Because these are the same days that the typology, or picture, of when Noah and his family were placed in the ark by God, and closed up inside, along with the genetically uncorrupted animals, a remnant to repopulate the earth after the Great Flood that were not corrupted with the Fallen Angels' DNA. The entire reason why the Great Flood happened in the first place was because the Fallen Angels had corrupted EVERYTHING except for Noah, Noah's wife, and their 3 sons, and the animals. It was Noah's two sons, Ham and Japthepth, wives that carried through the corrupted DNA that they had in their bloodlines, and this is what caused the giants, or Raphaim, to re-appear in the earth after the Great Flood (Genesis 6:1-6). It is the reason why Canaan, Ham's son, was cursed, rather than Ham, when Ham saw his father naked in his tent. Canaan had the genetic traits of the Raphaim that manifested... red hair, six-fingers on each hand, six-toed feet, double-rowed teeth, etc. Canaan was also the father of Nimrod, or as the Sumerians called him, Gilgamesh, a Giant. When Noah, his family, the animals were all closed up in the ark, it was the day that would later in history be named Yom Te'Ruah. Ten days later, the Great Flood began, on the day that would become known as Day of Atonement. So, here we have a picture of the timing of the Rapture and the Great Tribulation Age beginning, the timing. Father repeats everything, He uses a pattern. It is our job to determine that pattern.
We are looking at the 2-day window between the night of September 19th and the eve of the Fall Equinox on the 21st for the Rapture to occur, in order to put it into the Days of Awe, and have the Rapture happen BEFORE the Fall Equinox, fulfilling Jesus's prophecy of Matt 24:20. So, here's a wide enough window that no one can know the day (there's a 2-day window) nor the hour... could happen ANY time during that 72 hour period, since the exact instant of the Equinox is at 13:31 UT on the 22nd.

hello Kodster Welcome to the forum. 😉 A few things
Bro, you have some thoughts spot on and others- uhm ,not so much. Ease up a bit on the tone- "Y'all are obviously not making the connection..." and "if yall were reading your Bibles you would see..."
I would recommend making much shorter posts and fewer topics. Lots of awesome people here with different understandings and different places on the journey and we share ideas.
This is a welcoming place but your ideas will be challenged. This is not the first rodeo for many members. By the way- several watchmen agree with several of your points. I for one agree with much re the Wedding. Other parts we need to discuss. 😉

kodster , There are a lot of different topics that you address so it's hard to know where to start. You make a lot of statements that seem to be stating them as fact or scripture, rather than your opinion, or theories, but in multiple cases, there are no scriptures cited to support the claim. The first one i would like to address is in the fourth paragraph, regarding Noah and the Ark. kodster said "Well, the Hebrew calendar doesn't start until the first Full Moon AFTER the Spring Equinox. That's when the summer season begins, at the Spring Equinox. We have until the Fall Equinox to bring us to winter. So, we're looking at just a few more weeks before September 21st, when the Fall Equinox is. When Noah, his family, the animals were all closed up in the ark, it was the day that would later in history be named Yom Te'Ruah. Ten days later, the Great Flood began, on the day that would become known as Day of Atonement. So, here we have a picture of the timing of the Rapture and the Great Tribulation Age beginning, the timing." Actually there are two Hebrew calenders - one is a civil calendar, which begins on Tishrei 1 in the Fall, and the other is a religious calendar which begins on Nisan 1 in the Spring. The Hebrew calendars and all the Holy days are all based on a Lunar calendar, and as such, most of the Holidays fall on a full moon, or are set numbers of days - like ten, from the full moon. Yom Teruah, or Rosh Hoshanah is the start of the New Year and as such, it is the only Holiday that starts on the New Moon, and this sighting of the New Moon is so crucial, it determines all the other 7 feasts days and the weekly sabbaths (Shabbat) . The word in Hebrew is 'Moadim' and it means appointed times. The New moon has to be sighted in Jerusalem by two witnesses before the Sanhedrin, and sometimes it is cloudy or raining, and the crescent moon cannot be seen. ** This feast lasts two days. This is why the Feast is the Feast that No One Knows the Day or the Hour. Jesus was using a Jewish idiom, that was instantly clear and recognizable. His disciples instantly understood exactly that Christ was referring to Feast of Trumpets/ Rosh Hashanah, just as the five wise bridesmaids knew the day and the hour. Christ says explicitly in the wedding parable which is a rapture picture, that the 5 wicked/foolish bridesmaids did not know the hour. The others did know. So, the Civil Year begins with the New Moon on Yom Teruah/ Literally Day of Shouting or Blasting. This is Tishri 1. Nisan 1 in the Spring starts the religious year. The 10th of Tishri is Day of Atonement, and the most important day of the entire Jewish Calendar. The ten days of Awe are the ten days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur [Day of Atonement] During this time, Jews make amends for wrongs, and search their heart and repent. ***They believe that the door of heaven is opened at Rosh Hashanah and the Door of Heaven is closed at Day of Atonement. God makes the judgement for the year on Day of Atonement. For this reason, there is an expression in the stock /investing world, Sell on Rosh Hoshanah, and Buy on Yom Kippur. There were so many Jewish people invested in the Stock Market that you can even predict a yearly sell off at this time. It's to repent and purge their hearts of greed. It says in Genesis chapter 7 that Noah entered the Ark, and God waited 7 days, and then after the 7 days, that the rain started and the fountains of the deep were opened, and it rained 40 days and 40 nights. The passage states that the rain started on the 17th day of the second month, so they entered the ark on the 11th of the 2nd month. This is a month after Day of Atonement and 40 days after Rosh Hashanah, if you go by the civil year. There is some amazing typology between the Flood and the rapture/Harpazo and all the events of the 2nd Advent [All the events of the tribulation and the 2nd Coming when he sets foot on the Mt of Olives with his bride] -- but it's not connected to the 10 days of Awe. Cordially, Disciple4life

Hello all, again!
Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Being in college has its blessings and curses! Lol. I think that 2020-2027 could be possibly a good speculation, especially considering the possibility of the Rapture during Fall of this year. But, we must remember as believers, that this kind of thing is only speculation, and nothing more than that. I would certainly love for Jesus to return this year, because this year has been a bad year in many respects for every person on the planet. Unfortunately, if the Rapture is in the Fall and the Tribulation begins soon after that, it will only get worse after we are gone. I can't wait for the Marriage Supper and the Bema Seat Judgment while we are all up there during the Tribulation, but I am just concerned with lost family and friends being stuck down here in what is literally "hell on earth," and possibly being lost forever if they follow the Antichrist and take the Mark of the Beast. These kind of things make my anxiety which is due to my autism rise, and since my anxiety is already high enough due to the events of the world that have happened this year, it would not be good if I really studied end-times things for a while, and after things calm down, I'll be happy to study them again. Plus, I have had a TON of spiritual warfare happen to me during this time where if I study any Christian subject, even for school, Satan and the demons try to tempt me to reject my faith in Christ. Thankfully, I call on the name of Jesus and the demons flee. I'm just hoping that the Devil doesn't attempt something extreme where I actually do reject my faith in Christ, and I end up lost forever and stuck here on earth during the Tribulation, instead of being with my saved family and friends in Heaven. Just pray for my anxiety and the spiritual warfare to calm down, and for the things happening in the world to calm down, so that I can be nice and calm, and somewhat sane. Just pray for me, please. I would greatly appreciate it! Love y'all!
Your brother in Christ,

I wont speak for many but I can say that I am sure that things will not return to normal and the spiritual warfare will not decrease. In fact brother it is going to continue to get worse especially for you & me because the demons know we have authority in HIS NAME! (not yelling at you bro). I will remind you and in doing so remind myself to focus on Him during this time, each and every day. When we feel overwhelmed, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as in Heaven..." This is His will...He is allowing this. Why? to separate the sheep from the goats, wheat from tares, to purify those of faith. Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might! (Eph 6:10-17)

matthew2423 , Romans 8:38-39 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Your faith is in His finished work, and He will work out the rest. Things may be tough but He's got you; you are His child.

mike, Natalie, Thank you both for your kind and encouraging words. My anxiety rose again yesterday because of Tropical Storm Isaias that rolled through Virginia, where I'm from. Thankfully, Richmond, the place in Virginia that I live, didn't get much from the storm, but it sure was a lot of rain and wind early this morning! All of these crazy events in this world remind me that we will one day be raptured to Heaven, whether it's this year or centuries from now, I know that He's got this and I just need to trust in Him. Sometimes, it's hard for me to just trust in Him because I'm the logical type; I like to ask questions and know the details of everything. However, I also know that God doesn't give us every little detail of what's going to happen. I just need to live in the moment now and trust in Him who knows every detail. I know that I will be rewarded for my good works, but I just need to trust in Him and He will work everything out in His timing and according to His plan.
