SK, I have been told that the Day of the Lord is when He sets foot down at the end of the 7 year trib.. see...there are so many folks that compartmentalize the rapture and the 2nd coming, one says Thes is for the rapture, matt 24 is for the jews... Do not let any say the Lord has come unless the rapture happens first is what I have been coached.. I have been looking back to a lot of common or popular verses supporting various mainstream theories and am finding new meaning behind them. Not reading into them, but really clearing my mind of the common theories that have been taught with them and looking with a mindset of restoration, and I am becoming quiet surprised Finding things that are not there and have been added as well as little joys that have been there and overlooked.

Shrimp Broth: in medium sauce pan over medium heat add shrimp shells and cook for 3-5 minutes stirring. Add two cups of water and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain and set broth aside.
In large skillet over medium heat add butter. Once melted add flour and stir with a whisk continuously to make a roux. Cook roux until it is the color of light peanut butter. Add chopped onions, peppers, and celery to the roux. Cook for 5-7 minutes. Add chopped garlic to roux and cook for another 2 minutes. Add both chicken and shrimp broth to roux and mix well until completely dissolved. Add all seasonings and turn down to medium low. Simmer and stir for 45 minutes to one hour, covered and checking that the ettouffe is not sticking to bottom of pan. The ettouffe will be thick like gravy. In the last 5 minutes of cooking add raw shrimp. Turn off heat when all the shrimp is pink.
Add ettouffe to a bowl or deep plate, add 1/2 cup of rice and top with fresh parsley and green onions.

1. We can cover Eze. 44. This passage deals with the two priesthoods and has some interesting elements concerning our glorified bodies, etc. 2. We can discuss Zech 11. This is, written, I believe to the sons of God for the day when it all starts to go down - it seems that we are close to that day. 3. We can cover all the Kingdom Parables of Jesus. These give us a better understanding of the kingdom - its organization, laws, etc. Some also show us how the kingdom is taken from those that had it.
I am interested in all three I am thinking of some other things as well, but I will ask later. Thank you for asking. I have learned so much.

Warning: This is a light hearted post - don't treat it too seriously! I just have to say, I can't believe that none of you commented on my, "Jesus takes the sword out of His mouth", joke. I thought it was funny! This is such a tough crowd Maybe you all thought it went a little too far? I love Jesus. I think He is awesome! I am struck, to the core, by His pure magnificence - but I talk to Him every day. I can't help but get intimate with Him - and He has a sense of humor! I also like to poke a bit of fun at the people who pretend that they take scripture narratively literal, but really only do so when it backs up their position. Still - that was funny - right? Where did I miss this lol?

CW, What is the flat earth stuff? Basically, there are people that seriously believe the earth is flat. Some are Christians and they believe the bible teaches this. I'm not an expert on this and may have some of the following wrong, but from what I have read... - The earth is flat
- The "heavens" are a canopy...like a half sphere dome over the earth
- Somehow the sun and Moon are objects in/on the canopy and go around and around in a circle to give us day/night...not spherical either
- I think Stars are explained as holes in the canopy...not sure
- NASA pictures showing the curvature of the earth are faked. Somehow they explain away the moon phases (curving shadow of the earth), etc.
Delusional! (sorry flat earthers) What he said lol^^^^

I am not afraid, Lord, for I have FULL FAITH...yet it would sure be handy to have some extra-spiritual "powers" at hand to comfort or guide others... I tried to explain to my elder girls that there is a possibility of seeing the destruction of Jerusalem. That we really need to understand and consider what Sk is putting forth in the event things unfold not the way it was portrayed in a book series or by modern day evangelicals... I second that as I plan on talking to my mom and my aunt regarding some of this information over the weekend, mainly to see what their mindset is. I will be praying extra hard as well for patience and being guided by the Holy Spirit. My mom tends to get caught up in the flat earth stuff instead of the point of what is being discussed and then I give up. Sorry if that offends anyone about flat earth.

Act 8:39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing. Act 8:40 But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he kept preaching the gospel to all the cities until he came to Caesarea. When you read something and think the Bible had "science fiction" way before science fictions existed. Not that I am saying anything about the Bible is fiction at all. I am simply referring to the teleportation that was just described in those verses lol. Now onto the real question, I see what you are saying about the part where we are changed from flesh to spiritual in an instant/twinkling of an eye/moment on an atomic level. Maybe that is why so many who have rapture dreams describe a swift pulling away or movement upwards that is sudden. My question is, what about Elijah, Enoch, and even Jesus ascension and taking away? All were taken somewhere and in an upward direction? I do not disagree on the Heaven is all around us. There are too many stories and descriptions in the Bible of that being very much so. Recent scientific discoveries and understanding of the other dimensions, how they play a continuous role in our 3D dimension, and that we are literally a projection confirms that even more imo. Where they just changed to their spiritual body? Just something I thought about. Good question, cwood85. There are some distinctions to make here. Enoch and Elijah were taken in their physical bodies. It is unspoken as to whether or not they were "translated" into their spiritual bodies at some point. We really don't know - did they just go somewhere else to be changed? Did they change? Jesus had already changed early on Sunday morning. So he also was not translated when the disciples watched him ascend. The only recorded harpazo that was witnessed by someone - was Philip - and he just disappeared and reappeared somewhere else. Really, Jesus' ascension was completely a marketing gimmick. I mean, think about it - He was already coming and going as He pleased. Appearing, disappearing. The ascension was for our sake - not His. It was to help us understand His return possibly. But, to be clear, I am not saying that we will change and then stay right where we are. I do believe we will be changed - and then meet Christ in the air - and then go to the place where we all are gathered. So we will likely go up at least a little ways. My point is that were are not meeting Christ somewhere else - outside of earth - we are staying on/at earth. We are not going to heaven and then hanging out. I do believe there will be a slight "hangout" as we join the dead, join with Jesus, and then are presented as a complete anointed body to the Father. But I think we are talking about less then a couple weeks here. Then we get to work! And what glorious work it will be. As the people look upon us, they will see Him! At that point, greater things then He had done, we will do. We will be able to see within people and heal them. Not just their physical ailments, but their spiritual ones as well. The kingdom will expand quickly with the greatest outpouring of the Spirit in all history! I cannot wait to meet Him in the air 💕☝️ And learn His will of me.

I am revisiting this thread in light of further understanding and possibilities. everyknee Your dream was splendid to read about and with some further learning on my part, it may be deeper than what many including yourself may realize. I would encourage you to read @silentknight Kingdom of God thread found in the New Jerusalem folder. Really read all of his threads, but that may take some time But this part of your story particularly caught my attention: "One of my sisters has said that she has greatly diverged from the Christian path that our parents raised us on." There are key things happening that Are very interesting. I have been being lead back to this thread over the last couple of days. witness1 I am still going through your dream as well. It is fascinating as well. Love all the details. So much going on there. More on this later though when I am able to use my PC and type better instead of my phone.

Seems Mt. St. Helen may be possibly waking up. Lots of swarm activity around the volcano and a 3.9 yesterday just a few miles away. If anyone lives around there or has family/friends in Washington, be on alert. A lot of seismic activity in that area in recent months.

Daniel 12 and Malachi 4 are beginning to make a lot more sense now. I have never read the book of Malachi before. Wow. Short, sweet, and to the point isn't it?
