Last I heard, 18,000+ had perished. I was praying last night for the survivors. Would encourage everone to pray with me. Some specific prayers:
*That the many who are trapped under the rubble would be miraculously protected and found; more importantly, that Jesus would revealed himself to them. (Few Christians in the area.) *That this would open the eyes of many who are spiritually asleep *That first responders would be given supernatural wisdom, sense, and strength
On Monday the Chinese surveillance/EMP dry-run balloon was shot down by Myrtle Beach in the month of Shevat.
Zechariah's vision of red horse rider among the Myrtle trees (global war in Rev. 6) was in Shevat as well (see Zech. 1).
Note that the earthquake struck the day after the myrtle tree Zechariah connection.
Yesterday was the Jewish New Year of Trees.
Luke's Gospel adds a detail to the Olivet Discourse: when you see the fig tree "and all the trees..."
Israel = fig tree
Other nations around Israel = other trees given national identity in the 20th century with the advent of nation states.
7.8 earthquake shook Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Cyprus, and Israel.
Closest town to epicenter was Atalar.
Means "forerunners/forefathers." EQ was 7.8. Strong's 78 was a forefather of Jesus (Lk. 3:28).
Also, John the Baptist and patriarch/great cloud of witnesses vibe perhaps.
Anagram of altar.
One article noted this may have been the most powerful earthquake in the region in a century, though I haven't personally confirmed that.

For those who watch Dutchsinse, New Zealand is the antipode (opposite) of Turkey. He was watching for one there. My SIL posted on Facebook that they got a 6.1. I think it got downgraded to a 5.7. It hit Cook's Strait (between the islands) and was long and very strong. At least for my SIL who lives in the south of the north island right near the strait.
