I thought I would start a thread to discuss all our earthquake stuff. There was just recently the earthquake in Montana that a number of people felt. I was talking to my friend in Wasilla, Alaska last night, and he said they had one they could feel recently, but they are rather common in Alaska. My missionary friends in Peru report a significantly felt earthquake last night--the first one they've experienced since getting to the country back in April. There's been a lot of discussion of earthquakes on the shoutbox, but that gets lost to us quickly. So everybody please feel free to post your earthquake news and discussion here.

Yep. Some sites say a 6.7. The nearest city is Bodrum, home originally to one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The great Mausoleum.

Earthquake swarm in Idaho. Yes. A 4.3 and 5.3 yesterday (maybe more but they don't show more further back in time), and 22 quakes today with largest at 4.2. Interesting if it's associated with Yellowstone. In the back if my mind I keep thinking the big one is going to be on the 6th, but that's a full moon and also my birthday. So, I'm biased. Not that I want it to happen, but I think at this point, we're kidding ourselves if we believe things are going to get better.
