The eclipse path

I think so... it's possible . Nineveh had just such things two years prior to Jonah arriving. They had also received a solar eclipse

I don't know, delo63, but it is certainly possible!  We'll have to wait and see, of course, but it's certainly interesting to speculate on.

Yes it's possible, the only thing I think of though is that 40 days are given to repent. If the Gentiles are being warned, then there has to be 40 days for them to respond before something happens. I think this is the time for the carnal Christians to choose a side before the final bell. And I think the final bell will be somewhere between Sept 21st/ 22nd.

I'd like to correct the term "carnal Christians".... What I mean to say is people who are Christian in name only but have never Accepted the gospel.

Not sure if this is a stretch, but Psalm 16:6 says:

Psa 16:6  The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

The last place for the eclipse to leave the US is Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
I wonder if there are any other "pleasants" in the path of either eclipse?

Well this is strictly speculation on my end, but I don't believe that the United States is going to repent… i.e. Put on sack cloth, turn from their wicked ways, have a leader who would do it first and call on the people to do it.

Also, the Jews Have a tradition of mourning for 10 days. They are called the 10 days of awe, they start at Rosh Hashanah and they end at the day of atonement. Again, these are tradition only and not called for by God.

God always shows us types, of behaviors and thought processes.So I believe that America is being given the same warning that Nineveh was given and he even showed us proof that if we repent there is a chance God will stay his judgment. This would be showing us a type of repentance for a Gentile nation. The 10 days, I think, are proof that even when the Jewish nation claimed to know what the feast of atonement was all about and made a "tradition" of 10 days to prepare for it, God is going to hold them to their own traditions and give them those extra 10 days so that when the window closes... it is fair by 'their own' standards....even though it was 10 days more than he gave!! Everybody wants more time, but God will show that even with more time... hearts will not turn.

Some say that the 'official birth' is when Jupiter leaves Virgo on October 15.

Some suggest that Isa 66 describes a birth prior to the labor (9/9-10/15).

This would give ample opportunity for a harpazo after 40 days (9/30-10/15).
