Not sure if this should go here or in signs in the heavens...please move if it is in the wrong place. This is about the eclipses this year and in 2024, but more about the meaning on the earth.

I took the link Gary777 shared that showed where the two eclipses crossed and found some interesting things besides Little Egypt. This was what Gary777 shared. www.eclipse2017.org/2017/overlap.htm

The exact point where the two eclipses cross is right next to Cedar Lake in Illinois... specifically right next to SALEM Rd. Salem is the common short version of JERUSALEM. The two towns closest to the X are Pomona in the west and Makanda in the east. Pomona means FRUIT TREE and Makanda means MANGO TREE. The X is also right on POPLAR Rd. I looked up these in the Bible and poplar, cedar and fruit trees are mentioned many times

I think I'll go ahead and move the thread to Signs in the Heavens, since I do think it fits pretty well there. By the way, my house in South Carolina is in the path of the first eclipse. Anybody else?

Me too, watchmanjim! It will pass right over the top of my house in Oregon.

By the way, all4himtim, the 1st eclipse starts over Oregon. Our capital city is Salem, and Salem is one of the hot spots here for viewing the eclipse.

I want Jesus to pick us up soon, but I wouldn't mind seeing this eclipse!

I can't recall if it was someone here at the forum or perhaps at another website, but I thought I'd read someone mention that the path of the second eclipse and the "X" where the first and second meet might connect with the New Madrid earthquake zone. Can anyone confirm this? On the chance that this might be so, I checked to see if there were any interesting ties with Egypt and Madrid, and found this information about the Temple of Debod...

"Star of Egypt" reminds me of different things in the Bible:

1. "Out of Egypt I called my Son" (which points to the Exodus and to the "star" of the show - Jesus Himself).

2. The antichrist will be a modern day pharaoh.

3. The Star of Bethlehem and Numbers 24 ("a star shall come forth from Jacob") - Jacob/Israel was in Egypt as was the Messiah and both came out.

"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures." (1 Cor. 15:3–4)

Truthseeker, that was probably based on Isaiah 19. I have an entire Isaiah 19 thread I started somewhere. But you bring up an interesting point. What if Jesus' "wrath path" follows the path of His first coming life journeys? Would be interesting.

We also have the horse that won the Triple Crown--American Pharoah. In this Wikipedia article I see some interesting names mentioned in the horse's pedigree. Scroll down aways in the article, and you'll see the list of the horses American Pharoah descended from, including Lord at War, Star of Goshen, Ecliptical, Key to the Kingdom, and some others of interest. By the way, note the name I put in bold print.
