Thanks, Lion. Sounds both scary/ interesting and prophetic. Im convinced its Incrementalism. Setting the stage for the next act. Could you post a link for the article.? Sorry brother, it was a pic in a bulk mail thing about COVID, I saw the obvious biblical nature, filed it in my memory and erased as i do all junkmail. My dad said he has seen it on television as well, so it wouldn't be hard to find in a search. Sorry I'm not more helpful. Did't even occur to keep it.

Yes Mike, I *think* the credit card companies charge merchants a fee or percentage every time a customer pays with c.c. So the store owner loses margin on every transaction like this.. And those hidden fees may also have the negative result, of adding to inflation overall Hopefully people are wising up, make an effort to pay with actual 💵!

That's right! And if your card gives cash-back or rewards or whatever, they're actually refunding a bit of what they charge the merchant to you.
It's actually a kickback.

I was pondering this more and was noticing that the places I have been were small businesses, not the giant, big box type places. I am going to pay closer attention to this for better context. I think what you say here has merit to it as the big box types are 'in bed' with the system and the little guy, who is or has suffered greatly this past year is not. They cant afford to pay the excess to credit companies

Weird though...I have noticed more and more places are asking for cash and if you dont have it, they apply a 3% service fee. I am seeing this at restaurants mostly, anyone notice it anyplace else? Canada is plastic happy. We even have plastic money! 😆 There is a couple of places in my community that don't take CCs. Debit or cash only. The fees on debit for a merchant are less and so most small businesses will encourage you to only tap with a $5.00 minimum. But in all my travels of standing in lines to pay, I rarely see anyone paying in cash anymore. We have embraced the technology of tapping and would easily jump at a chip or palm scan to hold our money and rewards cards all in one. Canadians prefer hiding additional costs so I don't think we see much of businesses tacking on 3% but rather an increase in the cost of the item by at least 3% or more. (The carbon taxes we now have are steadily increasing our costs so it would be easy to add another 3% into the mix). Businesses also have a lot of additional costs now with sanitizing, a dedicated person at the door tracking numbers entering and exiting (and making sure you are wearing your mask) that they are probably trying to find ways to pass off those expenses to the consumer. I just keep wondering how much longer businesses will be able to hold out with all of this, especially those who continually get told they cannot open yet (movie theaters in my province have been closed since mid December- last announcement on Monday was that they weren't allowing them to open yet until the numbers start to go down again)

If you read the writing of the apostles and the words of Jesus, after the resurrection, you will find they keys to most of the parables and prophesies of the "New Testament".
For example, an excerpt from the "Epistle of the Apostles", a writing of the whole of the apostles to the churches of the north, south, east and west. - Jesus words in red.
15 But do ye commemorate my death. Now when the Passover (Easter, pascha) cometh, one of you shall be cast into prison for my names sake; and he will be in grief and sorrow, because ye keep the Easter while he is in prison and separated from you, for he will be sorrowful because he keepeth not Easter with you. And I will send my power in the form of mine angel Gabriel, and the doors of the prison shall open. And he shall come forth and come unto you and keep the night-watch with you until the cock crow. And when ye have accomplished the memorial which is made of me, and the Agape (love-feast), he shall again be cast into prison for a testimony, until he shall come out thence and preach that which I have delivered unto you. And we said unto him: Lord, is it then needful that we should again take the cup and drink? (Lord, didst not thou thyself fulfil the drinking of the Passover? is it then needful that we should accomplish it again? Eth.) He said unto us: Yea, it is needful, until the day when I come again, with them that have been put to death for my sake (come with my wounds, Eth.). 16 Then said we to him: Lord, that which thou hast revealed unto us (revealest, Eth.) is great. Wilt thou come in the power of any creature or in an appearance of any kind? (In what power or form wilt thou come? Eth.) He answered and said unto us: Verily I say unto you, I shall come like the sun when it is risen, and my brightness will be seven times the brightness thereof! The wings of the clouds shall bear me in brightness, and the sign of the cross shall go before me, and I shall come upon earth to judge the quick and the dead. 17 We said unto him: Lord, after how many years shall this come to pass? He said unto us: When the hundredth part and the twentieth part is fulfilled, between the Pentecost and the feast of unleavened bread, then shall the coming of my Father be (so Copt.: When an hundred and fifty years are past, in the days of the feast of Passover and Pentecost, &c., Eth.: . . . (imperfect word) year is fulfilled, between the unleavened bread and Pentecost shall be the coming of my Father, lat.) BTW- since this manuscript was recovered in Hebrew, Aramaic, and greek as well as Ethiopian, it is fair to say that it was widely distributed and shared by the church of Christians as a whole, before the condensing into the "New Testament", thereby making it not only scripture, but validating it's contents. It was dated to around 130 AD, so in the generation of and immediately after Jesus' resurrection. And it is witnessed by ALL the apostles AND Mary, virgin mother of Christ. The other writing of the apostles individually, validate and verify the contents of this epistle as valid and trustworthy. You choose what to believe. But don't try putting together a puzzle with less than half the pieces, if you want to see the entire picture when done.
God Bless!

In addition, if you haven't already done the figuring, this confirms my personal belief as revealed by my Advocate, that the second coming would happen some time before Sept. this year. This prophesy would put it between March 28 of this year, to May 23rd, assuming the accounting of the year is correct; which given the sketchy timeline of the old testament, and the swap over from the Julian calendar, to the Gregorian one, leaves room for err. But this does confirm my personal conviction from my Advocate. If you are in any way insecure in your faith, now would be the time to make a change and leave all worldly things and knowledge behind, in favor of the teachings and message of our Savior Jesus Christ. Also if by between he meant middle of, then it would fall somewhere around the 20th to the 24th of this month.
If I'm wrong, worst case, you got closer to god. If I'm right, I will see those of you who are true believers and walked your walk, in the next life of our spirits, free of the sack of flesh we now are clothed in and free of the bondage of sin forever. Come Lord, Come soon! I'm ready.
As an aside and a separate insight, I'd look for the return to be sometime about or after sundown. Since He says He will come "as a thief in the night", and "his glory/light will be seen by all". A daytime "Glory/Light" appearance would be obviously brighter than day, but one that happened in the time of thieves, the night, that would make everyone notice the sky lighting up brighter than the sun.

Gary , Natalie , disciple4life , OTHERS Gary notes in the article link on page 1 How do you handle this use of the term generation where it equates to 100 years, not 70-80? If the generation spoken of even is Israel back in the land, and the fig tree is Israel (which I contend it is not - see page 1&2) from 1948, then we have about 25 to 30 years to go if a generation is 100 years as stated in Gen 15. God is specifically telling Abraham about the time in the land and under oppression, etc.

How I handle it? I am holding very very very lightly to the interpretation of Psalm 90:10 being tied to the rapture. It's not something that has to be true or I throw everything out the window.

lionofgod, You may have answered it and i just missed it, but several places/posts you mention the second coming of Christ. But it seems from the context that you are meaning that the rapture and second coming are synonymous [one event]. I'm not sure if you saying that we could be raptured -[believers caught up instantly in the blink of an eye] this spring? Or do you mean this refers to when Christ pours out judgment and sets his feet on the Mt of Olives.?? Thanks Disciple4life

That sister is the "eternal" question. I would tend to think it would be in the land of the creation, eden, the garden, which none have found, as it id hidden from man. But a date and day range is much better than a hope to figure out, right! Look forward to Him, and look up daily for his coming. If I'm off as to anything, I'd say the year is nearly impossible to nail down to a concrete truth, as we have no records to be sure, but if that is true, it still holds to time and date, only that we may have another year or 2 depending, but the window id small. My conviction has been this year all along, and will remain so until the end of Sept. at which point, if I am living, I will assume it to be next years range, but I'm not off by more than a year to three, tops, in any event. So, I'll finish studying more of Jesus word, to see if I can find more "written" evidence to confirm my own belief.

Thanks Disciple4life Well from the writings I'm reading of the teachings of Jesus post resurrection, He is fairly clear that both will happen at the same time. When He returns, the true believers will be freed from their flesh,(kinda insinuates it may be from lightning or a similar "light/fire", that will both cause the death of our bodies, and the freedom of our souls and spirits. The judgement of the remainder begins then. The believers watch from heaven, then we either come to earth and receive a new "garment", or we remain in spirit with the Jesus' Father God. Once the sinners are judged, they earth is opened and they are cast into the pit with Satan and removed from the sight/existence of God. The earth is made New, with no sin, and those who come back down, start eternity with Jesus, on earth with a new covenant.
