I apologize for sounding harsh; that wasn't my intent. I was just curious why you didn't just leave the message if you don't want to post Scripture to back it up and discuss it. Because that would be how we test if it is truly from the Lord.
I don't believe that no words come from the Lord. I just don't believe we have prophets like John the baptizer and those who came before him. I think the role of "words from the Lord" has a different place now.

Ask yourself some questions: 1. Do all believers participate in the rapture? 2. What criteria, beyond being a believer is required to participate? 3. If you answered "Yes" to 1, and "Nothing" to 2 then go to paragraph 1. 4. If you answered "Yes" to 1, and anything other than nothing to 2, then go to paragraph 2. 5. If you answered "No" to 1, please go to paragraph 3. Paragraph 1:Then why are we told to watch? Be ready? Look Up? etc? What is there to watch for, be ready for? If all believers go and there is nothing to do in order to go, what are all the warnings for? They are not warnings to non-believers. Go to paragraph 4. Paragraph 2:At this point, you have contradicted yourself - if all believers go in the rapture, there is nothing we can do to increase our chances. Some are not "better" believers than others. We either are a believer and we go, or we are not a believer. Go to paragraph 4. Paragraph 3:You may not realize this, but you are in the minority. Most of the church teaches that all believers will go in the rapture and the great dispute is when they shall go. This little essay is less for you than it is for the rest of the body. However, please feel free to continue with paragraph 4 if you believe that you (or some group of believers) will be raptured out of here prior to the coming trouble. Paragraph 4:You have been fooled into believing you will be rescued out at the very time you are most needed to serve on earth. The plan of God calls for us to be on the earth to serve during the coming trouble. But most of His church is desiring - yes - ecstatic about escaping their much needed service. We don't need "watchers on the wall" to warn us about something we cannot even avoid. If we are saved, we are going according to all of you - so then what is the point of the watchers? We cannot be "better" prepared. If we can be "better" prepared, than you teach salvation by works, and not by faith. So you should all stop watching. It doesn't matter if I am sleeping, or swimming, or in surgery when the trumpet sounds. If I am a believer - according to your answer to question 1 - I am going in the rapture. So all the watching is a big waste of time and is just a self serving activity to make people feel smart or informed. What if, instead, you are being called to watch and be ready so that you know the times and are prepared to go into service when needed - not raptured out when needed most. This is the true message of the Watchers on the Wall - That you need to prepare to serve! On Earth! During the coming trouble. Don't fall for the lies of the watchers who tell you to be ready for rapture. There is even a phrase "rapture ready" that is an abomination. We are to be ready and suited with the armor of God, with our lamps fully stocked and oiled to serve. Listen only to the watchers who are preparing you for the coming trouble - not those who are promising easy escapism. It really doesn't do anything for anyone, nor does it glorify God, to come on a website, finger wag, and correct people from your elevated lifeguard station. I won't even read something with such a patronizing tone.

You all know the scripture better than I. There is no scripture I can post that your group has not already digested relative to the rapture. Scripture is part of the message and will be posted during the message, but will not be new to you. This is not a matter of convincing. It is a matter of proclaiming. Most of you will not be swayed. This is not stated from a position of self pity or condemnation. This is just a fact. I do find it intriguing though. You say that scripture is how you decide if it is really from the Lord - but you also say that you have people who believe differently from on another and you all have the same scripture. Therefore - logical conclusion - scripture is not enough to know which "position" is correct. When I hear from the Lord, I know it is true. But I will agree. I never hear anything that scripting does not confirm... But by itself, scripture does not resolve all mystery. Yet!

I won't even read something with such a patronizing tone. That is your choice. But I do believe you misjudge my heart and intention. Anyway, as you wish. Many messages from prophets anger the recipients. I am often amused by people who finger wag at people for finger wagging. I am equally entertained by those that elevate themselves in order to tear down others for elevating themselves.

I am curious...how do you hear from Him? Visions, a voice, dreams? I know that He can speak in different ways to different people.

stellaluxor, What exactly is the message that you received and how long ago did you receive it? Was the message only for this site and/or have you posted it elsewhere? Why do you think you were chosen to give out the message you have? I'm asking not to discourage you, but because John who penned Revelation...should have finished God's word. The terrible thing about a forum is that we cannot see the people we interact with. Its difficult to differentiate some people by their fruit this way. Not impossible, its just makes it more challenging. I think people are skeptical because Christ said there would be many false prophets in the end times and many here believe we are close to those times. Also, I believe your intentions were good. Children of God have always held their belief's to be personal and they have remained to keep certain things strict in order to not "lose their way". This is because they have such sincere faith in Christ and God - which is an amazing thing! Many here, as well as other forums, grew up in a Church that distorted certain things whether it may be works, faith, salvation, prophecy etc.. Some have grown since that time to understand God's word and break those road blocks they once had. Prophecy is also a road block for many. If it wasn't, we would all agree on the same thing =P I will be very honest with you. I don't know if the Lord has prophets in this age. I am not discounting you by saying that, I am saying I don't know...that doesn't mean I am right. But what I do know is that God does walk with us, he talks with us and he expresses himself through his spirit. So I'd like to hear your message so we can look for ourselves. Just try to do it in a way that is open...you wouldn't talk to a sinner and say to them "you're a sinner...repent or you'll go to hell". Though you are correct, that would not get a sinner to listen and be changed. Christ approached them as just talking to them as if he was at a Bus stop and said "Hello" to start the conversation. BTW stella, I'm not trying to tell you how to talk, I am just giving an example as to how those here are more receptive to those offering different views then their own =P PS. Thank you for the comment when you said: I laughed...there are many here that would disagree with that comment lol. But I will take what I get lol

I am curious...how do you hear from Him? Visions, a voice, dreams? I know that He can speak in different ways to different people. The Word of the Lord comes to me in various ways. One common way is via reading of scripture. But I do not mean just reading. I mean digesting it and allowing the Lord to speak through it through the Spirit. The most common way is through a constant stream of conversation that I hold with the Lord. A pray without ceasing concept. These types of hearing are subjective in my mind and must be weighed carefully. But I also occasionally hear directly. As I approach Him, He will provide instruction. In this case, I have been directly instructed to pass on this message to this site. It will be coming soon. Just not quite yet. I must wait for a particular condition to occur first.

venge, I will reveal the message soon. Not yet. I need to wait for something. I received it yesterday. The message is general, but I was instructed to give it to this site. I have not posted it anywhere. It applies to many outside of this site, not just this site. Why was I chosen? That is an odd way of putting it. I am obedient in faith to the Word I hear. I was aware of this site. I would assume that others will bring a similar message to other sites. There is nothing special about me. I am nothing exceptional when it comes to spiritual knowledge, etc. Out of obedience I created my account and and started prepping for the message. I have been hovering around this site for quite some time. I don't know about prophets in this age either - but I do know that I hear from God regularly. I don't need to be thought of as a prophet if that makes people uncomfortable. It just seemed like the most fitting position based on what I experience. As far as the message, when I give it it will be verbatim as I received it. So I cannot really tailor the approach to deal with the sensitivities of some. People have already been offended by the little I have said. Just wait until they hear the whole message. This is not my word, and so I cannot frame it in a "sweet" way. When Jesus spoke it was often direct and sometimes very accusatory. Even His testimony to the 7 churches. I am not claiming to be Jesus, but this is His word. I would not dare to soften it. I will say this, this is a dramatic message and I am not happy to bring it. It will not please most people. In the past, I have found that most people who are offended by the Word of God that I have brought, were not meant to spiritually hear it to begin with. In this case, I truly hope that is different. Be offended - but heed! I don't expect the wait will be long. One thing must happen before I can release.

stellaluxor, are you needing confirmation, perhaps a second witnessing to you of some kind, to be sure it is from the Lord?

barbiosheepgirl, I like what you wrote. What you are calling "idols" I am calling dung. Same principle however and both are used in scripture to illustrate this idea. This is some wise stuff you have written. As to what I am waiting for ... it is not a second witness. It is a triggering event.

Yet when you answer it this way, which ALL believers regardless of theory hold to, you put them into a minority category which is incorrect. The truth is, all believers do not participate in the rapture. Some participate in the rapture, most likely, most participate in the resurrection of the dead. That is the answer. To answer your original question, the Bible states all believers will not participate in the rapture (because of the RotD) and the majority believe that. I will agree, the church's responsibility in those times lay with its members to help in that time and I believe the church will be called to do so under persecution. In that statement, I am in the minority on this site. You left one out, venge The believers who come to Christ after the rapture will also not participate in the rapture.

Truth be told fitz. You are correct and in every theory, we all believe we are removed from the wrath therefore we all believe in a form of "escapism" from wrath. It is just when does it happen that we differ on. I didnt specify above, but I think he was eluding to escape from tribulation which is persecution. Nowhere are we said to escape from that; instead we are to endure it. Amen! And thank you, Venge. It is not just a matter of enduring. We must serve. We must overcome. We are part of the plan and right now, most of us think we are just going to be removed and sit on clouds for the next 7 years. NO! You shall represent truth and light during the fight. You must be present. You shall not be removed. Stand up my people, for the hour is soon upon us! At this point I would suggest you read the rules of the forum. Particularly Rule 1; with emphasis on the next to last clause of it. You statement is in violation of the Rule 1 of the forum rules.

Thus, some go to death and hell (Rev. 20:13) and then they come out of that place via the resurrection (Rev. 20:13) to to be judged. Then those who are sent back to death and hell die a second physical death. That is, they loose their resurrected state.
