Me too! I have so, so many questions. My biggest fear is that God won't answer them. I know He's going to be happy to answer our questions, all4himtim--and to tell us even more than we can think to ask! In fact, I'm hopeful that He will provide us with some heavenly brainteasers that will give us the happy challenge of discovering some things about His creation as we enjoy eternity together.

I think He'll be teaching us forever. In fact, I seem to remember there is a verse that seems to indicate that, but I don't remember where it is.

I not too sure that he will answer every question. One because He wants us to continue to learn, so being told the answer instead of learning the answer. Some might not be appropriate questions, like why someone who is extremely talented and gifted; decides that death is a better option. Why someone can diet and exercise and never achieve an "in shape" body; while others can eat whatever they want and never work out -- never gain an ounce. Why your seeming ideal partner, decides you are not the one after all?

I think a lot of the questions will be answered as we go along. I think the Lord will hold back on some things, and eventually--after the GWTJudgment, etc. they will make sense. Other answers will bring new questions. Some questions we can learn the answers to by asking other saints, like Noah and Adam. And some questions I think we will forget about, or they will seem insignificant to our new perspective.

And some questions I think we will forget about, or they will seem insignificant to our new perspective. I agree some questions that feel so important now; may drift away as being totally insignificant. Others, that really bother me now -- may be simply because of the FALL and there is no definite answer .... “Intersex” is a general term used for a variety of conditions in which a person is born with a reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn’t seem to fit the typical definitions of female or male. 1 in 1500 to 1 in 2000 births will have this condition -- put another way in the US which averages 3.5 million live births around 1700 of those life births will fall into this classification. So roughly 1700 people per year in the US can technically never be called male or female. Most families that face this crisis are two embarrassed to even discuss it. One grandfather, upon learning the condition of the new child -- Yelled - Let IT die. Point trying to be made here, is there is a class of people who are really neither Male nor Female -- even though scripture clearly states God Created them to be Male or Female. Why is that? To me this appears to be a fairly huge issue -- with a big question of WHY for family members affected.

That is such a tragedy for those born that way. I think it's just the FALL like you mentioned, kjs. I'm just guessing, but I think every human is either male or female, but sometimes genetic corruption takes its toll because of Adam's sin. It's just like the person born with a propensity towards alcohol abuse...they never really get cured, they just learn how to take up their cross daily and crucify the flesh if they know the LORD.

My limited mind is simply torn with all of these type questions.... Whether it be birth defects, or deranged fanatics killing everyone who disagrees with them...
We currently chalk it up to "The Fall" -- as that is supposed to answer the "WHY".....
But right now I cannot see it answers anything.....
For example one of the people Jesus heals ( think he was blind) and the disciples asked "who sin that caused this...." Jesus replied - none, but it was done for the Glory of God to be displayed.....
I know the apostle Paul speaks to it, when he says "who are you to judge whether the potter has some vessels for honor and others for dishonor"
But my limited mind screams that is not fair.....
Do not know, maybe I am the only one who feels this way .... But it is these type questions I have a desire to know!

Can I please have a hug? what will we all do for the rest of eternity? -- That is a tough One.... God is outside time (assuming we will also be outside of time when we are with him) Should we experience everything in the NOW (and there is no Past nor future) Attachments:

I can understand where you're coming from. As someone who has experienced some pretty severe health, sin, and family difficulties/tragedies, I'm acquainted with, and sensitive to, suffering in my life and others' lives. One of my greatest struggles in life has been trusting in God's goodness. I know by faith that God is supremely good. I also know that satan's most successful tactic in my life has been to convince me that God is not good and that His Word is not true. God is good - not just in a purely transcendental or philosophical sense - but in a very real, literal sense. He is good, we are not. I think the reality of suffering and evil will remain the greatest mystery until the creation of a new heaven and earth. I can say that personally a few thoughts have helped me reconcile God's goodness with what I see happening in the world: 1. Regarding the Apostle Paul's discourse on objects of wrath/vessels for dishonorable use, I can't reconcile this with pure Calvinism. In my study of Scripture I see both the truth of Calvinism and the truth of Arminianism. God is both completely sovereign and in control of every detail, while He has simultaneously created us in such a way that we really do have free will, make choices, and end up being morally culpable for sin. I write about this in detail here. 2. Many will disagree with this, but I lean towards Conditionalism like Dr. David Reagan. Read my case for it here. If Conditionalism is the correct interpretation of Scripture then most of our concerns over unfairness, evil, and suffering evaporate into thin air. 3. Saying this life is just temporary is more than a cliche. Suffering/disease/death/crying/pain/etc really are just temporary aberrations. Lifting weights is very unpleasant, but when you finish you're stronger and glad you did it. I think history is like that, but on a much greater scale.

Adding these to the “Questions Thread” – even though they are not questions to ask directly; but more questions in general….
For instant: What will be living outside of TIME be like? There will be no past, no future, simply an NOW! Even our vocabulary would need to change – without having past tense, future tense.
Will we be able to speak with people like Helen Keller, Corrie ten Boom, Andrew van der Bijl (God's smuggler), Martin Luther King Jr, and this list can really grow…. And be able to hear their stories first hand?
Why extremely talented people like: Keith Green, Rich Mullins where removed so early from this life?
One rumor I have heard is that in Heaven we will speak/read/write one language and more than likely that is Hebrew. On multiple occasions, I tried to learn another language and have pretty much failed – mainly because I cannot get my mouth to make the various sounds…..

On multiple occasions, I tried to learn another language and have pretty much failed – mainly because I cannot get my mouth to make the various sounds….. What an awesome rumor! Also, I know what you mean about learning other languages, kjs. I've learned to read and write the French language after studying in my college days and continuing to pursue the language later in life, but whenever I try to speak it, I sound quite silly. It's very difficult to make the sounds correctly. It will be wonderful when the body of Christ is together at last with Him and can understand and speak together, whether through the ability to communicate by thought as well as words or by learning a single language together!

When Rob Bell first released his book “Love Wins”, there was such a “hoop-La” made about it; that I decided to read it. I found it to be a very scholarly work with tons of scripture backing up his points, which seems to be what Greg calls Universal Reconciliation – or put another way – eventually all human souls will become saved; even if they have to suffer punishment for a bit of time.
One of the biggest arguments he made, that swayed me closer to his position is that God is so loving and Fair – it does not make sense that such Creator would condemn someone to eternal punishment, for a few decades of life on this world. In other words, now days people live 70 to 80 years before death; in some case some people die before they complete 20 years on this earth – Rob’s argument is that would it be fair of a Loving God – to condemn someone to eternal punishment for the 20 (40, 60, 80) some years that they lived on this earth. The conclusion of course (from human’s logic) would be no God would not be fair in doing that. Which means either humans have more compassion than God; or God has some other plan in the works.
Now, I think I share the majority’s viewpoint when I say that some people like a Hitler, or a Serial Killer, or Suicide Bomber deserve whatever punishments for the atrocities they committed. However, a ”Joe Blow” who lived a decent, loving life raising their kids, helping their neighbors through tough times and yet was not a believer – eternal punishment for them seems very harsh and not fair at all. Add that to some individual who was raised in “Timbuctoo” and never heard the gospel at all in their entire life; to be condemned already – because they did not believe.
Now, I was raised that we humans have a Body / Soul / Spirit and somehow the Soul and Spirit are intertwined in some way. The Spirit is dead because of the Fall and only comes alive again through the finished work of Jesus Christ. The Soul / Spirit is what lives forever and is the portion (portions) that will either be enjoying heaven with God – or being in torment away from God.
Now, I have never heard of Conditionalism – before. But from what I have read about it so – far – it might have some possibilities – of answering some of the objections – raised by eternal punishment – such as the fairness. I will need to study it more….

I do believe we are going to be amazed by what the Lord shows us of His righteous judgment when that day of opening the Books occurs. Part of His righteous fairness is already at work right now with His command to us to spread the good news of salvation to all the world. I know that He sees into the depths of every heart in this world, past, present, and future, and He's known even before He created Adam how each of us would respond to Him when called. I do believe that if there is anyone in this world who has not heard about Him and whose heart is calling out to know the answers, He does respond. Sometimes He sends believers to the right place at the right time to communicate His message--thus it is so important we heed His command to spread the news of the Gospel. Sometimes He gets His written Word into places where it is forbidden. Sometimes He even visits people in dreams or visions. There are amazing stories of this coming from the Middle Eastern nations right now--Muslims being visited by Jesus and becoming Christians! I suspect we'll be very surprised when Judgment Day arrives as to just how He's worked all through history to speak to people who might have lived in difficult places to find Him.

Yes. We listen to testimonies now, can you imagine the testimonies were going to hear there? We are going to sing them like Anthem songs. Maybe each one of us will have one that tells our story!
After yesterday... what does our soul look like when it struggles...
