Heavenly Father,
We thank You today for those men and women who serve their communities as policemen, firemen, and EMTs. We ask that You would give them wisdom as they do their jobs. Help them to stay safe. It's a tough time to be in some of these positions. May they be encouraged by those around them who do value what they do. And may they seek You with their whole heart. In Jesus name, amen.

Dear Lord,
Bless the children Lord, for they are innocent of sin. Evil preys on them day and night, I ask that those that fall to Satan hand, be expedited to your open arms and comforted. The sin of this world is egregious and pervasive. As we near the ending of this world, I patiently await your return to signal a new beginning. May your name be glorified above all and Your glory be shined on the earth! Amen

Monday: teachers
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for those who choose to become teachers and educators. It is not an easy job. And with the restrictions from lock down, it has often become more difficult, frustrating, and complicated. We ask today that You will give strength, patience, and wisdom to them. May they also be able to show Your love to their students. In Jesus name, amen.

Thursday: for Israel
Heavenly Father,
We know that Your Word says to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And so we pray that Your peace will settle in the hearts of the Jewish people. May they soften their hearts and turn their minds toward You, knowing that if they search earnestly for the truth that You will show them. May they see the truth in their Scriptures and come to know true peace by coming to know the Prince of Peace. We pray for wisdom for Israel's leaders. And we pray that they put their trust in You and not anything man can do. We thank You for keeping Your promises to Israel for in doing so we can trust Your promises to us. We look forward to the blessings that will be poured out on them when they come to Jesus. It's in His name we pray, Amen.

Wednesday: persecuted church
Heavenly Father,
We come to You today on behalf of Christians worldwide who are being persecuted. We pray that they will stand firm in their faith and place all their trust in You because You are trustworthy. We also pray for those doing the persecuting. May they see the Gospel at work and hear the truth so that their hearts can also be changed. We have read how Paul was changed and know that Jesus changes people. We pray for comfort for those who are separated from their families because of persecution. May they lean on You and the promises in Your Word. For this is not our home. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thursday: missionaries
Heavenly Father,
We come to You today to pray for the missionaries throughout the world. We ask that You would thoroughly equip them for the spiritual battle they are in. We ask that You would open doors that seem shut, open ears that are closed, and soften hearts with the Gospel. We ask that You will be their comfort when it's lonely, their healer when there is sickness, and their light when it seems so very dark. We also pray for those who have accepted Your truth and trusted in Jesus. May they continue to serve Him only and grow as disciples. In His name we pray, Amen.

Monday: the US President
Heavenly Father,
Today we pray for President Biden, his staff, and those working with him in various positions. We know that their greatest need is faith in Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We ask today that You would make Yourself very obvious to them. May they hear the Gospel proclaimed clearly. May they recognize that You are King and You desire them to follow You. May hearts be changed. In Jesus name, Amen.

Dear God, Father of the Universe, from whom all things exist,
I pray today that you would send the Holy spirit to all your children, that you would grant them peace; Being secure in the knowledge that all things are happening according to Your divine will and at Your specified times. Be a reminder to all that death has no sway over your chosen, that life beyond the flesh is what death of the flesh brings about. That fear of this will not be a stumbling block for them, but rather a motivation to become closer to You, to live in Your word, to listen to Your Spirit; That all may be welcomed in the day of judgement and behold your perfect plan fulfilled. I ask these things in the name of Jesus, your only begotten son, whom gave his blood to atone for our sin. Amen

Tuesday: other leaders
Heavenly Father,
We come to You today to pray for the other leaders around the world. May they lead their countries with wisdom, justice, and mercy. Help them, even if they don't follow You, help them to make wise decisions for the life and well being of their people. May they come to understand though that You are King of all and they are only in their positions through Your providence. Bring the Gospel clearly to those who do not follow Jesus, so that they may be convicted of their sin and of their need for a Savior. And for those that are already following You, may they seek Your guidance and Your wisdom. Bless them as they follow You. In Your Son's name we pray, Amen.

Wednesday:
Heavenly Father,
We know from Your Word that there will be false teachers. There have always been those that twist the Scriptures or teach a different Gospel. We pray today that there would be many who would become convicted of this. We ask that You would open their hearts and eyes to their deception and falseness, and to the fact that they are not leading people to Jesus and salvation. May they see that they are actually working for the enemy and not You. We also pray for those sitting in those churches to see the Truth. May they come out of darkness and into Your light. In Jesus name, Amen.

Wednesday: prayer
Heavenly Father,
We come to You this day as a people who have great needs, who have family and friends with great needs, who see nations with great needs. Physical and spiritual needs. We also know that prayer can be our greatest resource, yet many times we neglect it. We ask today that You would clothe us with Your armor so we may battle where necessary, that You would call to our hearts to come and meet with You, that we would remember that we can come to the throne on behalf of all these needs. May we be a people in communion with You, sharing our needs, and praises, and thanksgiving always and without ceasing knowing You hear us. In Jesus name, amen.

Heavenly Father,
We know that Your Word says that "God is love", and that people will know we are yours by our love - a love that comes from You. We ask today that You will fill us with Your love for others. May it come out in the way we talk and interact, in the way we live and the things we do for others. May we be motivated by Your love and not by some selfish thought. May it be a testimony to who we follow. In Jesus name, Amen.

Heavenly Father,
We are so grateful for Your care, Your love, and walking with us. Life can get so tough. We ask today that You would equip us for these tough times. Help us stay dressed in Your armor so that we can fight the battles with Your help. Help us to stay grounded in Your word so that we are feeding ourselves with Your truth. Help us to come to You continually in prayer. Encourage us with the hope that we have in Christ. It's in His name we pray because of who He is and what He has done, Amen.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for another day. We are grateful for it. May we see beauty in the things You have created and be thankful for the things You have given us. Help us today to walk with integrity. May we be people who want to work toward our lives being a display of the excellencies of Christ. May others know that we are different, and may we be able to answer them with the hope we have. Help us to be honest, trustworthy, loving, hardworking, humble servants of Yours. In Jesus name, amen.

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for providing the way for forgiveness, salvation, and a relationship with our Creator. Today we pray for our family and friends who do not have any of that. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth. Please give us the words to say to point them to You. May our lives show a change and a light that others would desire to have.
