Tuesday: the sick
Heavenly Father, We come to you today on behalf of those who are dealing with illnesses. We know that You are the Great Physician. You also created our bodies and know how each and every single part and cell works. We ask for physical healing, but we also ask that whatever the illness is that it will cause the person to draw near to You. As they wait for healing, may they turn to You and trust in You. May they seek You for spiritual healing. And because we are at a time when visitors are being limited or in many places not allowed, we ask that You will comfort families who may not be able to be with their sick loved ones. We ask that You would give strength and wisdom to those who are caring for loved ones at home, whatever the illness. Thank You for those who You have brought healing to, and may those who do not get healed come to know You so that they will have complete healing in the life to come. In Jesus name, Amen.

Wednesday: financial concerns
Heavenly Father, We are so thankful that we can come to You with our concerns and worries, our needs, our tears. Thank You for caring for us. There are many right now who are struggling with so many things. One of the biggest being financial concerns. For believers, we ask that You will make a way when it seems that there is no way. Please give them comfort and peace, knowledge that You are caring for them. May these worries also turn many hearts to You. We know that trying times are coming, and we desire many to rely on Christ and not the things of this world. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thursday: hurting people
Heavenly Father, We are thankful that Your Word tells us that You are a God who is near. You are a God who sees and who sympathizes with our weaknesses. You know how to care for the brokenhearted and comfort those who are hurting. We ask today that You will remind those who are hurting of these truths. May they lean on You and allow You to ease the hurt, whether it is from loss and grief, depression, anxiety, loneliness, or a host of other things. May You bring to our minds those who may be hurting so that we can show them the love of Christ. It's in His name we pray, Amen.

Friday: worship (1 Chronicles 29:10-13)
Heavenly Father, We come today to just worship You. Our prayer echos that of David. To You is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty for everything on earth and in heaven is Yours. Yours is the Kingdom and You are exalted as head of all. In Your hand are power and might. We thank You and praise Your glorious name. Thank You for sending Jesus and for the promise of His return. It's in His name we pray, Amen.

Monday: the persecuted
This has been on my heart a lot lately. As we see the persecution of our brothers and sisters in other lands, we must not lose sight that we need to pray for them as one day we could and perhaps will be with them. Psalm 140 really helped me today
1 {To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.} Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man; 2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war. 3 They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings. 5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
6 I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD. 7 O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle. 8 Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
9 As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them. 10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again. 11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him. 12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor. 13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

Tuesday: Israel
Heavenly Father, We know that Your Word says to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And so we pray that Your peace will settle in the hearts of the Jewish people. May they soften their hearts and turn their minds toward You, knowing that if they search earnestly for the truth that You will show them. May they see the truth in their Scriptures and come to know true peace by coming to know the Prince of Peace. We pray for wisdom for Israel's leaders. And we pray that they put their trust in You and not anything man can do. We thank You for keeping Your promises to Israel for in doing so we can trust Your promises to us. We look forward to the blessings that will be poured out on them when they come to Jesus. It's in His name we pray, Amen.

Wednesday: missionaries
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for the missionaries throughout the world. We ask that You would thoroughly equip them for the spiritual battle they are in. We ask that You would open doors that seem shut, open ears that are closed, and soften hearts with the Gospel. We ask that You will be their comfort when it's lonely, their healer when there is sickness, and their light when it seems so very dark. We also pray for those who have accepted Your truth and trusted in Jesus. May they continue to serve Him only and grow as disciples. In His name we pray, Amen.

Thursday: weariness
Heavenly Father, Thank You Father for being our rock and our fortress, for being our strength when we have none left. Many of us are weary; the spiritual battle is very real. We ask today that You will help us finish the race and fight the good fight. May we keep pressing forward as we see the Day approaching. May we remember to come to You again and again. Help us to be able to take the hope we have to an unbelieving world that desperately needs You. So many of them are weary also but have no source for strength. In Jesus name, amen.

Monday: law enforcement officers
Heavenly Father, We come today to lift up our law enforcement officers to You. So many will be judged on the actions of a few. We know there are many out there who serve You as they serve their communities. And many love their jobs, and they love people, and they love what is right and just. Protect them today from evil, and guide them as they work to do good. We also pray that You will convict those who are corrupt or unjust in anyway. May they see that what they are doing is wrong. And may Your Gospel go out through all of this so that You may be glorified. In Jesus name, Amen.

Tuesday: Paul's prayer Eph 1:17-19
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for the church as the way Paul did in Ephesians...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give us the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of our hearts enlightened, that we may know what is the hope to which You have called us, what are the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe. And may we stand firm in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus, in His name we pray, amen.

Wednesday: people of Myanmar (Burma)
Today, I am going to post an update from some missionaries in Myanmar. We got the update from missionaries from our church (not in Myanmar). It is much longer than just the prayers I normally post, but I thought it was worth it. (If you don't have time, maybe pray for peace to return, for safety of missionaries, for them to be able to safely minister to others, for the Gospel to spread.)

I pray to the Father for the protection of this family and others from the wicked conduct of these wicked people. Father please have compassion upon these beautiful saints and protect them.

Thursday: Glory to God
Heavenly Father, We praise You today as the one who is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us blameless before You with great joy. We are thankful that the work was done on the cross and that we are sealed with Your Spirit. And to our God be all glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. May Your will be done in our lives today and may all glory be given to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Friday: please check other requests and pray for them this weekend Heavenly Father, Thank You for this place to meet. We ask that You would guide our studies, keep us humble, give us love for one another. May we learn more about You so that we can worship You, reflect Your character, and grow to be more like Your Son. Protect us from false doctrine and false teachers. Help us to encourage each other as we wait for His return. And it's in His name we pray, Amen.
