Monday: Hurricane Iota
Heavenly Father, We come to You today as we are watching another fierce hurricane bearing down on Central America. We pray for the people there. Help them withstand this storm. Guide them through what comes after. May this turn their eyes to You, may it see an increase in the spread of the Gospel, may there be stories that give all the glory to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Tuesday: Hurricane Iota
Heavenly Father, We are grateful to hear when hurricanes weaken, but this one can still cause much wind damage and flooding. We pray for those who are still in its path. We know how devastating they can be. We ask that You protect those that are dealing with this storm. Help guide the rescue crews and those who we know will be called out when it passes. We ask that You would keep people safe so that fatalities are minimum. May those who are impacted turn to the God who created the wind and the waves. In Jesus name, Amen.

Wednesday: missionaries
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for the missionaries throughout the world. We ask that You would thoroughly equip them for the spiritual battle they are in. We ask that You would open doors that seem shut, open ears that are closed, and soften hearts with the Gospel. We ask that You will be their comfort when it's lonely, their healer when there is sickness, and their light when it seems so very dark. We ask that You would please make the way smooth for those who are trying to return to the field during this time of covid restrictions. We also pray for those who have accepted Your truth and trusted in Jesus. May they continue to serve Him only and grow as disciples. In His name we pray, Amen.

Thursday:
Heavenly Father, We thank You, Father, for sending Your Son. We are thankful that we have a High Priest who intercedes for us. We are grateful that we can come to You through Him. We ask today that You will strengthen our faith where it is lacking. May we also be able to stand for Your truth and turn from everything else. Help us to run and not grow weary. May we be able to keep our mind on the things above and not the things of this earth, for in that we also know that we will have peace and rest. Remind us that You have all that we need and our treasure is stored with You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, We praise You today as the one who is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us blameless before You with great joy. We are thankful that the work was done on the cross and that we are sealed with Your Spirit. And to our God be all glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. May Your will be done in our lives today and may all glory be given to You. Thank You for the many ways You have blessed us. Thank You for taking care of us, helping us to mature, and helping us to love one another. In Jesus name, Amen.

Father in Heaven, Today we bring to you the need for truth in our lives. There are so many voices in the world that create confusion in many of the family belonging to you. Even now, as we see much turmoil throughout the world, the voice of truth is not prevailing. Help each of us to rest in You and to find the space and time to listen to You as speak to us and through Your Spirit. May the truth of the Word be brought forth for Your glory honor and praise mighty God.

Monday: Paul's prayer Eph 1:17-19
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for the church as the way Paul did in Ephesians...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give us the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of our hearts enlightened, that we may know what is the hope to which You have called us, what are the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe. And may we stand firm in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus, in His name we pray, because of who He is and what He has done, amen.

Tuesday-
Heavenly Father, Today is December first and we are moving ever closer to the time of year we celebrate the birth of Jesus. We are forever grateful for His coming, His life, His death, and His resurrection, and for all it accomplished. We are also thankful that His return is near. Help us to be sharing the truth about why Christmas is celebrated. Please soften the hearts and open the eyes of our unbelieving family and friends. And help us to keep our eyes focused on Him. It's in His name we pray, Amen.

Wednesday: Pastors/teachers
Heavenly Father, We thank You today for those pastors and teachers who are solid followers of Jesus, who teach the Word truthfully, and who desire to see their congregations well fed. We ask that You give them the strength and wisdom they need to stand firm against all that seems to be coming at the Church. Please give them wisdom for the decisions they have to make concerning opening their church (or staying open) and the safety of the congregation. May they also be a source of strength and encouragement to those who know them. Thank You for the Gospel and for those who proclaim its truth. In Jesus name, amen.

Wednesday: False teachers
Heavenly Father, We know from Your Word that there will be false teachers. There have always been those that twist the Scriptures or teach a different Gospel. We pray today that there would be many who would become convicted of this. We ask that You would open their hearts and eyes to their deception and falseness, and to the fact that they are not leading people to Jesus and salvation. May they see that they are actually working for the enemy and not You. We also pray for those sitting in those churches to see the Truth. May they come out of darkness and into Your light. In Jesus name, Amen.

Friday: prayer
Heavenly Father, We come to You this day as a people who have great needs, who have family and friends with great needs, who see nations with great needs. Physical and spiritual needs. We also know that prayer can be our greatest resource, yet many times we neglect it. We ask today that You would clothe us with Your armor so we may battle where necessary, that You would call to our hearts to come and meet with You, that we would remember that we can come to the throne on behalf of all these needs. May we be a people in communion with You, sharing our needs, and praises, and thanksgiving always and without ceasing knowing You hear us. In Jesus name, amen.

Friday: love
Heavenly Father, We know that Your Word says that "God is love", and that people will know we are yours by our love - a love that comes from You. We ask today that You will fill us with Your love for others. May it come out in the way we talk and interact, in the way we live and the things we do for others. May we be motivated by Your love and not by some selfish thought. May it be a testimony to who we follow. In Jesus name, Amen.

Wednesday: Glory to God
Heavenly Father, We praise You today as the one who is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us blameless before You with great joy. We are thankful that the work was done on the cross and that we are sealed with Your Spirit. We marvel at the many things that You have done, and that Your thoughts and plans for us are many. And to our God be all glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. There is truly none like You. May Your will be done in our lives today and may all glory be given to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thursday: Israel
Heavenly Father, We know that Your Word says to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And so we pray that Your peace will settle in the hearts of the Jewish people. May they soften their hearts and turn their minds toward You, knowing that if they search earnestly for the truth that You will show them. May they see the truth in their Scriptures and come to know true peace by coming to know the Prince of Peace. We pray for wisdom for Israel's leaders. And we pray that they put their trust in You and not anything man can do. We thank You for keeping Your promises to Israel for in doing so we can trust Your promises to us. We look forward to the blessings that will be poured out on them when they come to Jesus. It's in His name we pray, Amen.
