I have been thinking more about that golden calf, and I believe this was Israel trying to keep the feast of weeks. We have always thought them foolish to so quickly forget God when Moses took so long on the mountain. I mean, He had just led them out of Egypt. They had seen everything He did with the plagues and the Red Sea and the Manna and the water from the rock. Yet they still made another god. But they made this god, and Aaron said, "Tomorrow shall be a feast to the LORD." - Exodus 32:5 Aaron was not holding a feast to the calf. He was holding a feast to the Lord, as the Lord had commanded. (Of course he should not have built the golden calf...) The Israelites panicked because they had been counting the 7 sabbaths and 50 days. It was time for the feast yet God was not there. So they did like Abraham with Hagar and took matters into their own hands in order to fulfill what the Lord commanded. I still think there is good reason to believe the long Pentecost count is true, and this is another reason. This feast the Israelites held to the Lord, with sacrifices for sin offering and peace offering, would have been on the 99/100 day from the feast of first fruits. The same day the Lord wrote the commandments in stone, the day the Levites were ordained, and the day the 3000 were slain. This was the day of Pentecost. Hi Witness 1, you have a great thread going. For me the golden confetti is the rapture in which you are one of many. If the release of the confetti had been on the floor then you might have seen the confetti going upward. Just kidding. I also have an idea on the significance of the number 2. Why was it mixed with the confetti? The golden calf is uniquely the children of Israel's invention; the Egyptians never used that idol. Israel knew that the calf represented God, as in the three year old heifer of Gen. 15:9. They simply could not let go of their Egyptian traditions; thus they made their own idol. I like your idea of the feast of weeks. I would like to know where exactly it places on the old Hebrew calendar. From the calendar that you posted, Dr. Finley has it at 6/7. The schedule that I ascribe to is: 1) the first event, 2) rapture to the exodus, 3) marriage of the church, 4) rapture off the earth. Thus, according to Dr. Finley's calendar, 1) the first event is in the spring, 2) then there is a 49 day count for the feast of weeks and day 50 is the rapture, 3) and then at the 3.5 year mark is the fall feast and this is where the wedding takes place, 4) and lastly is the 7 year mark at the spring feasts and the rapture off the earth. Just my thoughts for the calendar.

I was going over the day counts today and it is so interesting...
9/23/17 - 11/11/17 = 49 days...Sabbath to Sabbath + 1 day brings us to 50 days - 11/12/17 The morning of 11/13/7 we saw the Jupiter-Venus conjunction 11/13/17 - 12/31/17 = 49 days 12 midnight is the beginning of day 50...1/1/18

But, I am still struggling to understand WHY I am counting. Nothing told me to count, and I am also struggling to make sense of all the incredible signs pointing to this year (or so I thought). Dennis planted the thought of the counting in my head, but I see the Lev. count as 50 days, not 99. However, the Rev 12 sign to the conjunction to NYE is two sets of 50. But why is that anything more than coincidental?
But interesting none the less.

fitz, have you been able to read much of this thread? I think there is good reason to believe Leviticus should have been read like that all along. As for the sign, there is nothing in scripture that tells us to count. But isn’t that what we naturally did? Isn’t that what we have naturally done with all of these blood moons and the super moon 70 days after Sept 23? We know these signs are from God, but we don’t really understand them, so the only thing we know to do is to count days between the different events and see if that sheds any light. And you’re right... there are a lot of coincidences that have to mean something!

boraddict, thank you for that info about the calf! That is really interesting. As far as the dream, the 2 was not mixed with the confetti. The confetti was all on the left and the 2 was alone on the right. In thinking about it, the 2 was dressed up in gold paint and a child’s rhinestones, but it wasn’t actually made of gold through and through like the confetti. So I get the message that the 2 was important to understand, but the confetti is the prize. As far as what it means, I think I am to be a second witness to Dennis. Please no one ask me whether I consider myself to be a prophet or what percentage sure I am or any of that nonsense. All I’m saying is that I agree that Pentecost should be 7 sabbaths plus 50 days and that there are some uncanny “coincidences” when we count this from the sign. I also think the 2 means to look at the 2 loaves offered at Pentecost. My spirit did that jumpy thing when I read Lev 23:17-18 (coincidence NYE 17/18?) about the 2 loaves being offered, telling me that the fact that there are 2 of them is significant here. I will explain what I think about that shortly. On a personal note, I shared on another thread that I think the Lord will use me for the healing of the nations through homeopathy with the leaves of the tree. My spirit did that jumpy thingy when I read that section again and this time took note of the verse: Revelation 22:2. Wow. So far, that is what I believe the 2 means.

That jumpy thing that you feel is more often than not the the spirit of God prompting you.
This past summer I was passing through Springfield MO at about midnight or 1 AM. So I stopped at a gas station and filled the car up. My oldest son (21) was with me. I told him that I was going inside to get a soda. There were several people inside and out side the store getting fuel and snacks. You know, just people en route to somewhere. There was nothing unusual going on. I walked to the section of the convenient store and opened up the large glass door to get a soda and out of the corner of my eye I could see a man approaching. I thought nothing of it until he tapped me on the shoulder. I turned to look at him and he was speaking to me but all I heard was "walk away."
So I walked up to the check out counter and he followed me. Fortunately, someone else was behind me in line when this guy approaching from my side and started telling me how rude I was to ignore him that way. As he was speaking I could hear that still small voice again prompting me to say "I do not know you." The message was more for the man behind me (my defense) rather than for this man who was speaking to me. When he stopped speaking I said "I do not know you" and I was immediately impressed to leave. So I began walking and placed the two sodas on a counter. Just as I was walking out the door a police officer was walking in. I know that if the officer had not been there then the man would have followed me out of the building. If I had stopped to think about things I would not have come out unscaved. That man was evil and was up to no good. The key was to act upon God's prompting. It was a beautiful experience for me and a definite faith builder.
God works in our lives and we are prompted to do things. I like to think of the order like this. Lord Jesus has servants, and it is a great honor to be a servant of God. I on the other hand am not his servant but his friend. When I pray I speak to my friend Lord Jesus. It is an interesting thing because his instructions are to pray to God the Father. But I do not separate the two in my prayers. I know what I say to one is said to the other. So I address God the Father, but I speak to my friend Lord Jesus. Consequently, I feel much closer to God the Father. He is not a stranger to me but a friend.

Isn't this the message you've delivered?

That is an interesting idea fitz! I do believe there are 2 counts of 50 days, but I’ve never made that connection to my dream. You could be right.

I have to say I have not completely read through the whole thread but I think there may be a fundamental flaw in the count toward Pentecost being presented in this thread. The flaw being that it is related to the giving of the Law. That is a Jewish oral tradition taught by Jewish Sages. From my own accounting the Law was given around Sivan 17. The count is described in Leviticus 23: You will notice that the barley wave offering wasn't even to be conducted until they entered the land, therefore Pentecost was not even celebrated for 40 years. You will also notice that the wave offering was to be offered the day after the Sabbath. This is the weekly Sabbath, not the high Sabbath of Passover as is taught today by the Jews. The wave offering was offered on a Sunday, and this is why we see that Jesus fulfilled this as the first fruits of the Barley wave offering on the first day of the week- Sunday. afterwards there is to be a count of seven complete sabbaths of 49 days. Verse 16 clarifies the count, it doesn't add to it. It says to count to the day after the seventh sabbath, this is a direct reference to what had just been said in the previous verse, the point is that there is a 50th day added to the 49, on that day a new grain offering was to be presented- also on a Sunday. This is the day that the Disciples were gathered in the upper room and the Holy Spirit came upon them. They fulfilled the new grain offering (wheat), (not to be confused with the First fruits Barley wave offering)The Church had been born. The count is 50 days. As far as I can tell, this is the accounting I come up with for the timing of the Exodus 14th Nisan-Passover at twilight 15th Nisan- Camp at Succoth 16th Nisan- Camp at Etham 17th Nisan- Sabbath- Camp at Pi- hohiroth 18th Nisan- Through the Sea (barley wave offering) (Day after the Sabbath)19th Nisan 20th Nisan 21st Nisan- (Marah)Bitter water- fresh 22nd Nisan 23nd Nisan 24nd Nisan 25th Nisan- Sabbath 11st Iyar- Sabbath 28th Iyar- Sabbath 315th Iyar- Sabbath 4(16th Iyar - Manna begins) 22nd Iyar - Sabbath 529th Iyar- Sabbath 67th Sivan- Sabbath 78th Sivan- 50th day- (Pentecost) (Water from the Rock???)
15th SIvan- Israel Camps at Siani 17th Sivan- Law given here's a link to a good article about why the law wasn't given at Pentecost www.keithhunt.com/jesse/10com-not50.htmRT

Thank you rt. I had also done a calculation and ended up with 20/21 May and hopefully 2018.
Interestingly, if the 70 "weeks" spoken of by Daniel means 70 "years." and the start date was May 14, 1948. Then we have the completion of the 70 years on May 14, 2018 and that fits with your camp at Mt. Sinai / Law given.
Likewise the 7 "days" would be 7 "years" and this would be the 7 years of tribulation.
I have not worked out the details; however, I think this spring is looking quite promising for all of us.

I wanted to mention that I worked on Daniel Chapter 9 today in my chiasmus thread and this is what I found. The tribulation starts, then after 775 days the order to rebuild Jerusalem is given, then after 70 weeks the daily sacrifice is over, and after another 1290 days is the consummation of the wicked. Total time is: 775 + 490 (70 weeks) + 1290 = 2555 = 7 years. unsealed.boards.net/post/18113If this is correct then it is simply a matter of adding the beginning. Easier said than done.
