mike “Of course I see your sarcasm in the above but if for not understanding that about you, I would think you were serious and applied that to every man - but I am near 100% certain that you do not truly believe that about all men.”
I have about a semi trucks load of sarcasm in me on a daily basis haha. Sometimes I forget not everyone likes sarcasm or they take it seriously or as the person being mean. Usually the sarcasm flies when I am just bewildered or shocked and in some of these post I definitely was and probably wasn’t the only one... unfortunately I am usually the first to speak up when appalling or shocking things are said or seen 🤭 And no the things I said I absolutely do not believe about all men, just one at the moment lol. 😉 In school I always got along better with boys than girls. I liked dirt, bugs, reptiles, climbing trees, never going inside and absolutely hated wearing a dress because those just got in the way of being able to do anything fun outside. I also believe men are meant to play a specific role for certain things as are women. What I think most understand in the verses regarding women being priest is a difference in intelligence and then one tries to elevate one above the other. That is what was being implied by a certain someone and that is not what those verses are saying.

Interesting old topic. My understanding of Dan being removed was that Dan causes others to turn to iniquity. Do we see that in Churches today? Do some churches allow things that can cause what would be believers, to fall into wickedness? Dan was full of idolatry and was not a virgin like the 144k are. He did not follow God. But Dan is not just gentiles that believe not, but a Church That has corrupted themselves that has a form of holiness but denies the power therof On the other hand; Benjamin was a very bad tribe and if it was not for Judah it would have been wiped out by the other tribes. So as the bad ones go, Benjamin is at the top. If I were going to exclude a tribe it would be Levi. So why include this priesthood tribe as one of the 144,000 when it was dispersed among the others? That is, Joseph should be included as Ephraim and Manasses, and Levi should be left out of the list (Rev. Ch. 7) and this would give the 12 tribes. So why include Levi and why not replace Joseph with Ephraim? Are we to read Joseph as Ephraim? Perhaps we are to read Levi as Dan? That would explain a lot. Levi as Dan and Joseph as Ephraim and all twelve are accounted for. Levi is included because Levi represents the physical Priesthood. This could be looked at as some of today’s pastors and priest. Read in Ezekiel (?) that they are not allowed in the innermost “court.” Jesus is the forever priesthood however that never ends and is in the inner “court” at the right hand of God, which means Levi priest are not needed to atone for sins. The outer court is outside the temple. We are the temple in which God resides in, which is why Levi cannot come in. They are no longer needed.

cwood85 , I am guessing you would agree that learning from a woman on this forum is totally different than sitting under a woman pastor. I hope bobthewebguy understands that because otherwise that comment sounds a bit...I don't know what to call it...rude? disrespectful? demeaning? We are brothers and sisters here learning from one another. No one is in a teaching authority position. I was married by my great aunt who was a pastor for almost 30 years. Probably makes my marriage null and void because it was done by a female... My aunt and her husband were the pastors. They were what you would call, now it’s a funny word for those who think men should entirely dominate over a woman and woman are subordinate to men. They were EQUALS with the pastoring of their church. They were equals in their marriage, which was one of the nicest and sweetest ones I have ever observed. They loved one another very much and it was apparent to all who knew them. But I am sure their marriage would have been even better if her husband always treated her as his lesser rather than his equal, best friend and spouse. Bob is probably right about that. And nothing shows a higher higher level of intelligence like being narrow minded, a know it all and too lazy to do your homework! That’s what gets people high test scores, no studying or research. I honestly think when I am in the presence of a man for too long I can literally feel my IQ dropping out of the back of my head due to their superior teaching and learning skills. Ok, I am done now lol as I could just have way too much fun with Bob! Goodbye Bob!

OK one at a time. The bible teaches clearly that women are to be a helpmate to their man. They are not to usurp authority over the man. They are to help the man. Not rule over them. There are only exceptions in the bible where women are in any spiritual authority. It is quite clear the requirements for a Pastor. And it ain't being married to a man. As a Jew, I understand how women only until recently started to become Rabbi's. Look at the wailing wall. Separate women from men. The orthodox would have it no other way. One needs to remember how it was before this last generation that probably began in 1948. Completely different. No women preachers, excuse me, very few women preachers etc. I really never quote scripture because again, I'm lazy, it's difficult, you know the scriptures, and I find it a waste of time. I would if I thought it would help. I would never allow a women to teach me anything if there was a man who could just as well. And please don't anyone give me the political correct stuff. I hope that would hold no ground here.. Let me look at those scriptures you sent. And BTW, no one answered my questions either. You mentioned in you first comment on this site that you have been kicked out of other forums or groups... Totally don’t see why they would do such a thing with you being so pleasant and all. I have ADD pretty bad as well Bob and admittedly when something starts to take too much juice to concentrate on, it can be easy to avoid or be lazy about it. It’s also easy to be ok with doing that as well because impulse and emotion operates the ADD mind more than logic and reason. So you know what really helps with the concentration is coffee, protein, omega 3’s, exercise, and removing distractions. Medicine and vitamins help a lot as well if you are into that sort of thing. Maybe I should change my female indicator to male though so maybe you would actually learn something and not be dumbed down by a female giving you some information. And for clarification sake, I do not uphold feminism or anything of that sort because I believe it is doing far more damage than good, just so you know I am not an extremist or political. But I do believe the Word of God. Especially when he says this: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”-Galatians 3:28 Quoted that from the KJV for you. You need to go back and maybe see how many female priestess are referred in the New Testament and it was a female PRIESTESS/RABBI who held Jesus as a baby as Joseph and Mary went along their travels. I would also also go back and read what Paul is getting at with the female preachers and than go and look up how many letters he wrote to priestess of their own church or synagogue.

bobthewebguySays: Dreams and visions are prophetic. They were used to tell the future. TO prophecy. No one today can tell the future with 100% accuracy. No that is only part of the meaning of the word prophetic or prophecy. It does not solely mean to tell of the future. Prophets of old were not only telling of future events, they were also affirming and spreading the truths of God. Here is the full meaning of the word prophet: Cognate: 4396 prophḗtēs (from 4253 /pró, "beforehand" and 5346 /phēmí, "elevating/asserting one idea over another, especially through the spoken-word") – properly, one who speaks forth by the inspiration of God; a prophet. See 4394 (prophēteia). A prophet (4396 /prophḗtēs) declares the mind (message) of God, which sometimes predicts the future (foretelling) – and more commonly, speaks forth His message for a particular situation. 4396 /prophḗtēs ("a prophet") then is someone inspired by God to foretell or tell-forth (forthtell) the Word of God.Prophets were not simply fortune tellers. They proclaimed the Word of God. ” in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

I think this is something that really depends on the individual and their heart towards the Lord. Is Gods character and face being sought after or is something trying to be proven by the individual? Are personal idols or trying to figure out Gods plan of action the focus of the heart? I believe this and also in reference to many other categories, that the heart is the issue in hearing God.
How do you know for sure? How does anyone know for sure? There certainly are a lot of people like you said, who say God told me or similar. Other than the dreamer and maybe not even them, will know for sure unless our heart is in it for the right reasons. But this is why things should be asked in the spirit. What does that mean? Seek the things of God and not of man, not of the flesh or it’s desires.
But look at Daniel and the things he dreamt of. If someone came to most anyone today and said they saw those things in a dream, they would more than likely be called a loony bin!
However I am a dreamer who has dreamed some very strange dreams. Some have been of things I never even knew existed until discovering it later on. A few of these discoveries have been startling at times and disturbing. Some have been biblical related and some I have stared Jesus in the face and we have interacted in various ways. If I dream of Jesus he never talks though, usually smiles or looks off in a specific direction. The ones of Jesus are very rare and I find myself utterly disappointed when they are over wishing so badly to return to them.
The most recent one was at a point where I was very unsure and frustrated with myself and my walk in the Lord. This has been going on for several months and didn’t know which direction to go. One night as I relaxed to the point of almost being completely asleep, I found myself in a dream type experience, although VERY vivid as in all 5 senses are experienced and I am aware I am dreaming or at least not awake in reality if that isn’t weird enough lol. Sitting in front of me is Jesus, but not in the typical way he is normally portrayed. He was younger looking like in his 20’s, very relaxed and sitting on the ground in what looked like a barely or wheat field. The bugs were buzzing, a light and hazy warm breeze was blowing in the shining sun, the sky a beautiful deep blue with wisp of white fluffy clouds dotted within eyesight. I could feel the warm all over.
He was wearing woven tan tunic with a hood and light linen under shirt or garments. They were plain, a little worn on the edges, especially around the arm cuffs and the sewing and seams were quite visible. I am sitting in front of him and in my dream I can feel myself smiling and it felt like from ear to ear. He is chewing on something and it sounds a bit crunchy. I wonder what he is eating and he reaches down in front of him and pulls up the brightest red apple I have ever seen. It was so red it seemed to glow from the sunlight glistening off of it. He reached out and handed it to me. I took a bite and it was the juiciest sweetest apple I had ever tasted and handed it back to him. The juice ran down my chin and then he looked off to the side to my left/his right. I was still smiling and thought how silly I probably looked with all this apple juice dripping from my chin. I reached up to wipe it away and that was when I woke up, sitting in the edge of my bed with my hand on my chin. after thinking to myself how interesting THAT was I quickly laid down on my pillow hoping to pick up where the dream left off. I didn’t remember any other dreams from that night in the morning.
Did I 100% dream this all on my own accord? Did my brain make all of it up as I drifted off to sleep to the point that I moved in my sleep and sat back up and acted out physically some of my dream? Maybe, as our brains can do some pretty amazing things and it is basically the computer drive that makes us go. BUT who designed that brain and put it in our heads? Whose is the head programmer of us? Whose image are we created in? Whose very breath of life do we breath in and out millions of times throughout our lives? Where does our consciousness come from or our imagination and even the ability to have a internal voice and have the ability to be creative? Our father, and He can speak or guide us in the way that he knows will work best for each and every one of us. I am very visual and do not take to subtle hints whatsoever and I believe God knows and understands this. I didn’t figure the dream our out right away, but when I did I laughed because it was so simple and I am so oblivious sometimes. Who knows maybe God had a chuckle at me to! What I gathered from the dream was- share the fruit 🍎! Or I could just be a looney who needs to up my meds 😉
God reaches all of us in different ways and over many hundreds of years I feel like this has been downplayed tremendously. We look to our own formulas and understanding to really make sure we can prove what the dream was or what understanding or message is being presented. This isn’t directed at anyone here and is a general comment. If in doubt about it, ask Him and look to scriptures. Things happen in His time and ways, not ours 💓💗

kjs , The gospel of the kingdom or kingdom of God as in some translations, is THE gospel. Lets take a look at the above referenced verse. "Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom*, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people."*(bas-il-i'-ah)Definition: kingdom, sovereignty, royal power Usage: kingship, sovereignty, authority, rule, especially of God, both in the world, and in the hearts of men; hence: kingdom, in the concrete sense. There is always this debacle over Kingdom of God vs. Kingdom of Heaven as two separate events and so on because Jesus and the apostles spoke of the gospel of the kingdom... BUTJohn the Baptist spoke of the Kingdom of HEAVEN as he announced the arrival of Jesus before Jesus ministry began and the apostles were even chosen.
1 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." 3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.'" ESV
1 And in those days cometh John the Baptist, proclaiming in the wilderness of Judea, 2 and saying, `Reform, for come nigh hath the reign of the heavens,' 3 for this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, `A voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, straight make ye His paths.' YLT
Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, 21nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.
There is not a gospel and than later on a version 2.0. because there is only THE gospel and the end result is the same for all, God is Salvation and only through Jesus is salvation possible and that is proclamation of the gospel, it is the truly and only good news! Woo Hoo! The good news is that we can never ever screw up enough to be separated from God, that we do not have to work for our salvation or follow the proper protocol and then potentially stumble or mess it up. The even better news is that not even death can separate us from God and in death He is there. Not one spot on the earth, above or below is away from God. The apostles later on in the NT after the death and resurrection never make mention of the "previous" or "different" gospel. They all talk of the same one, the Good News.
1 Peter: 3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time(SOME VERSIONS SAY LAST DAY). 6In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
...10Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully, 11inquiring what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories. 12It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.

What did the terrible suffering, agony, pain, and finally death of Jesus accomplish by dying on the cross? I do not ask this just for myself, but for discussion from everyone else if you feel like joining in. What was finished exactly? The atonement for the sin of the world. He wiped sin from creation with his life and blood. What was fulfilled? The law. He perfectly fulfilled the law that nobody could or was expected to. That was the point of it and in very meticulous detail break down how to love your neighbor as yourself and love God above all else. What was achieved and completed by this most unselfish acts of love to ever be displayed and witnessed? The ultimate sacrifice to restore creation from sin. Who was this done for? All of creation and mankind. What exactly is the gospel, because it was being preached and taught before Jesus was crucified? The good news was being spread by the apostles. It is the Good news. That God is salvation and his judgement of the world was his mercy on all. It was preached prior to the cross as a way to repent which mean to change your mindset or how you think. The Jews only knew rituals and works. They had to act out the responsibility of cleansing their sins which started with the priest and then done for everyone else. But Jesus told them basically non of that mattered because regardless of what we do or do not do, we have still been gifted salvation by God. What are we to do now that Christ was crucified and rose from the dead? Share the good news! That there is nothing we can accomplish to gain or lose our salvation because God is a good father who has had much mercy and grace with his creation.
What is salvation and how did the death of Jesus allow this to be gifted for the world by dying on the cross? He fulfilled and paid for a debt that we could never pay for. What are the consequences of sin? Death, which praise God was done away with by the resurrection of Jesus!

This is one of those things where I relate Baleem as being the evil thing or cursed and God blesses the curse, not once but twice Paul says if you eat food from idols but are thankful to God and not the idols, it doesn’t matter that it was sacrificed for idols. Why? Because it’s food and God made the animals and plants it comes from, not the idol. Doing yoga to a make believe god or as in a form of worship to yourself is not good. Doing the stretching and not getting into all the chakras is just stretching. I meditate as well, I have to or I would be able to focus on reading and studying of any sort. I even meditate before I pray because my mind wanders in 50 directions all the time. But whenever I meditate I keep my eyes on Jesus. When doing yoga type stretching, thank God for being able to exercise and trying to be healthy. God isn’t going to punish someone for trying to take care of themselves. He is in the business of taking a curse and turning it into a blessing. ❤️☺️ Have you ever been to a class? It is way different than stretching on your own or looking at stretching videos. The instructor actually has you meditate on parts of your body. The chkaras mentioned are not of God. It is a deception and in my opinion, opens up the occult. I would not take such a strong stance if I never experienced this for myself. No I have not been to a yoga class, but have been in Karate and even therapy classes that did similar deep meditation on various part of the body such as starting to focus at the head, then the neck, shoulders, arms and all the way down to the toes. I have what the world like to call ADD and severely. Over the last couple of years I have learned to view it as very non linear thinking lol. Some days it's more like firecrackers are my thoughts, lit, BOOM, and then gone lol. So meditation of that sort puts out the fuses and allows my mind to SLOW down when I really need it to. It's not occult if you don't treat it like so, at least that is how I view it. To me this also works wonders with praying and clearing my mind for it when I really need to focus on something important. At one appointment, my therapist had me visualize being someplace that we wanted to be the most and to go through water to clear our thoughts and other stuff of that sort. I instead imagined myself following Jesus and him guiding me through the places being described to see and visit in my mind instead of doing these things entirely by myself.

Thank you all for your comments.
Regarding the Westminster Confession of Faith and it's reference to each pope placing himself ... "in the place of Christ" or ... "instead of Christ", I find that blasphemous but, I guess some here see nothing wrong with that. I don't remember anyone here saying it wasn't or they didn't think it was blasphemous, because of course it is! It's arrogant and pompous and the thought of the words coming out of their mouths in regards to who they think they are makes me shake in my shoes for them at the thought of what the creator of the world thinks of this behavior. Just because we do not agree with your particular opinion on the topic does not mean anyone here does not think it isn't wrong. I really think you have misunderstood what is being presented in response to your post.

As a 40 year student of prophecy, I find your conclusions mind boggling, but so be it. Thank you.
Are there others following this thread that agree with Venge's conclusions?
I do more or less but maybe in a much broader spectrum. I do not believe there is one sole religion that has anything to do with the mark of the beast, but my views on the mark of the beast are not what is in line with mainstream prophecy either. We we are told what the number represents, man. Not a singular man which is the Greek word Aner, but in the Greek it is mankind. The word is 444 ánthrōpos – man, also the generic term for " mankind"; the human race; people, including women and men. It is also the transliteration of the Hebrew word for mankind, Adam. The mark of the beast is the result of a beast system, a system of mankind. This can be in the form of religion, governments, politics, money, banking and monetary systems, corporations and so on. Ever wonder why it is always the face of a man that is imprinted on money? How long has that been happening for? Thousands of years. Why is this done? Why has it always been done to have a rulers or image of a particular individual on money? There isn’t a single religion God is going to pull out of the many as worse than another. Why? Because essentially they all do they same thing. Teach or convert people to believe that they can, should or better follow said religions rules for salvation by works and rituals. In an essence this is based on ones pride in their ability to follow the rules of said religion to gain or ensure their salvation. So this would mean there isn’t a single religion that will be responsible for the mark of the beast or taking ones place in the temple of God.

The explosion of homosexuality is hard to witness as it is something that is being forced into schools and in children’s faces in anyway possible.
It is a debased mindset that is given over even more to their desires. Paul tells us this will happen. It seems the world has gone mad for the lgbtq movement. From things I have seen and talked to with many who claim to be homosexual, there are more times than not something traumatic that has happened. Either sexual or physical abuse as a child, parent not wanting the sex of the child they had. I don’t mean this in all cases, but you would be surprised at how many this does happen too.
My sister in laws father wanted a boy and seemed to never accept his child as a girl. Gave her footballs, baseball cards, trucks and cars and similar for her birthdays and Christmas. From a very young age she knew her father had wanted a boy and wished she was a boy. He was apparently not quiet about it. Her parents were divorced and she did not grow up with her father which is probably not a bad thing as he sounds like a real peach. Many people go through life like this in out of the mental abuse, shame and trauma end up going after the same sex, both or physically changing themselves.
Here is something to think about in regards to Sodom and Gomorra, which God states will be restored in Ezekiel or Isaiah? <<<I will check on that. The cycle of abuse is just that. It continues on and on and spreads. The mind more times than not is damaged when traumatized and the abused becomes the abuser in many cases unfortunately. While yes I think God was disgusted with what was going on in Sodom and Gomorrah, I really believe their destruction was done out of mercy and to stop the cycle of abuse. Too much damage was done and needed to be stopped and there was only one way to stop the perversion that had taken over those cities. The destruction was done swiftly and they probably had no idea what had hit them before they became dust.
While God thinks homosexuality is an abomination, He also thinks pridefulness is one as well. I really don’t put one sin above another. How many of us lie? That was listed as something that does not get you into the kingdom of God. When John the Baptist says “the lamb who takes away the SIN (Singular) of the world...” he does not say sins.
I met a in the beginning stages of hormone treatment, a transvestite in January of 2018 and his opinion towards God was not good because of how Christians he knew acted towards him, was told that God hates people like him and they deserve hell unless they change. This young man wasn’t even out of high school yet and he had had a very hard and painful childhood. How many homosexuals have we heard when they say they admitted to what they did, have had entire families disown them or worse.
Would Jesus hold signs up saying gays deserve hell? Nope.
Would he walk around yelling repent or be doomed and to stop sinning because the word repent is still misunderstood by most preachers still. Nope he wouldn’t.
Would he refuse to cater for a homosexual couple or refuse to take their wedding photographs as a photographer because they are a gay couple? Never mind the couple that was photographed or catered to previously who where together because of adulterous relationships or years of fortification. I really believe he would not refuse them.
You KNOW what Jesus would do?
Invite them in for dinner. Sit with them and have a good time with them. He would do it in the open for all to see knowing people would gossip behind his back because he was with those sinners and how dare he do such a thing! Probably even have a glass of wine with them. Make it good wine too if all’s they had was cheap stuff.
He sat with the tax collectors who during that time were thugs and thief’s in reality. Pay up or lose a limb or worse sort of people. He casually and COMFORTABLY sat and ate with them knowing the religious leaders of that time would be mortified. Solely because they thought of themselves as way better and holy.
He asked those condemning the adulterous women that whoever was free of sin to cast their stone. No one cast a stone. When homosexuals are refused service or business, we are casting a stone. When we think their sin is worse than ours or a worse level of sin, we are casting a stone at them. If we look at them as any less, we are casting a stone at them.
None of us should ever do anything different. We don’t preach at them and condemn them of their ways. Some of the things I have heard and read from Christians towards homosexuals is so hateful and vile. It’s sad and really is becoming borderline racism, but instead of towards color it’s towards a particular type or group of people. Pray for them. If someone you personally know is in the midst of this lifestyle, pray for them. If you fear for their safety or wellness, offer help. If they refuse Jesus, pray for them. Jesus is bigger than any of this. He HAS overcome the world. Amen for his eternal grace and salvation.
This isn’t directed at anyone here. Just some thoughts and observations of mine.
It is apparent however to some degree there is an agenda to expose children to this sort of lifestyle at an early age. This is a spiritual battle that is heating up. We as parents and adults are to do our due diligence to educate and protect our children. And most importantly pray about it.
