I love how this thread has taken off, and all of the great thinking and responses. I personally really don't care if this celestial event was the sign mentioned in Revelation 12 or not. The signs of the times in which we live are all around us regardless! So... I'm gonna keep pressing in to know Christ and the power of His resurrection! I'm gonna keep shining the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I'm gonna keep sharing His love and His goodness and His mercy! Until the day comes that He does return and call us Home... we watch and we wait and we share the reasons for the hope we have in us. A hope that goes beyond this world and beyond this life!

The time window is likely to be through November 19, with some special dates such as 9/30-10/16 having greater importance. Taking it beyond a hypothesis or speculation lacks prudence. It hurts no one to wait and see. The media backlash for 9/23 is typical. It will now allow them to immediately dismiss anything that occurs fairly soon after 9/23 by lumping it into the same category. k I'll be back on Halloween sorrynotsorryI have often wondered most of my life why I have been given the bluntness I have and have spent years developing a filter so I am not rude or come off as mean or aggressive. Which I do not honestly have ill intentions with the things I say. I just call it as I see it and am honest. Not the friend who is going to cheer you along when what you really need is a knock upside the head. This gift of bluntness and not being afraid to speak my mind has both its benefits and negatives. During my school years as a child I learned to put bullies in their place without violence, not just towards their meanness to me but to other children as well. Kids three times my size left me and others alone because of my mouth. Not bragging, because sometimes I know I really hurt their feelings and as an adult now have the understanding that maybe their home lives were not so great. Most Bullies are cowards and I dared them to do to someone else of their own size or bigger of what they did to us. Always in front of all of their friends and myself ready to take a punch for my mouth. Never happened and quite possibly the Lord had my back lol. Now we have keyboard warriors like you. If anyone wants to delete this or sees it has inappropriate, I will happily take the brunt for it, whatever it may be. Sorrynotsorry WHAT is your intentions on this forum? Seems to me you waited until the last possible second to start posting and also revealed what you will be doing. While many did have their hopes up and now emotions for many (including myself) are pretty raw at the moment from confusion and obviously a misunderstanding at some point. Everyone on this forum and the unsealed website and many others, have been nothing but humble, spent hundreds if not thousands of hours on this, took no money or profit and solely meant this as trying to spread the gospel and seeking our Lord. We are human, we cannot possibly fathom how God thinks or how he plans. No one should put all their faith in man. Our sinful nature causes us to easily be fooled or confused. But we try. We go on and look into what did we miss or where did we go wrong? Why? We want our Lord and savior. Those who are saved and in dwelling of the Holy Spirit, seek Him. I do. And after learning about this sign it is all I do day and night. I have become so much closer to Jesus. I have for the first time in my life spread the gospel. So what about you? What ARE you here for? I think it is either out of malice or you truly and possibly do not really believe and a little voice inside is saying to seek Him further. I do not know your heart or salvation, only you do. Are you seeking Him or answers? Or are you here to passive aggressively try to hurt and tear us down at a very confusing and tender moment? Because your snarky one or two sentence comments and post seem to be on the snarky side and that of a keyboard bully. I mean this with love and not malice or ill intent. If you are here to simply make others miserable or not be helpful by providing any form of research or insight, then go away. No one asked you to be here. But obviously something intrigued you. Listen to that little voice. Jesus is real, he loves you and said he would come back. Either believe it or don't. But do not put doubt or Ill will on us. We would not do that to you. I will not argue back and forth or comment any further. I have spoken my mind and have my peace with it.

I believe it really was the sign in Revelation. I believe that it's one of the signs in the heavens before He returns. And I am still listening intently because I think we are going Home soon. Keep trusting in Him and walking with Him. I agree, Natalie! Well said!

Just was thinking of this for consistency Matt 27:52 The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, yardstick but it's not absolutely necessary to mirror, is it? Jesus' tomb was open after all so it wouldn't be a stretch right? not sure what youre getting at mike?

yardstick & linda Not sure how the news would dismiss the open/empty graves. One theme seems to ring true for most of us before today, today and still prevalent. Trying to make the rapture into a date. For example "it has to be on the feast of trumpets" or "well we missed this feast gotta wait until next year" and "maybe these dates will fit into the window". Not being critical of anyone cuz I'm just as guilty but I'm starting to think about overanalyzing this and just starting to kick back and allow the Holy Spirit to work. All of our speculation has been just that. We inadvertently give cause to the naysayers with our hypotheticals. Hey mike, I am not sure the graves will be open. Empty? Yes. Open? Unnecessary? I am going to suggest that we give cause to the naysayers when we don't keep it hypothetical. When we accept hypotheses as fact or truth, instead of keeping them as the speculation (for purposes of discussion) that hypotheses are supposed to be. But I agree with your suggestion of caution. yardstick this was what I was referring to. Just was thinking that since graves were open when Christ resurrected, it would happen at the rapture

yardstick - exactly...I also thought about this on my drive to work. Totally forgot but I think it applies: 1 Cor 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.I had the whole chapter copied here but I'm thinking you know it already and get the gist

Welcome auskiwi , glad to have you here! I heard that from a German guy Martin Baron, who interpreted the Rev 12 sign in a similar way as you do. However I found some of his conclusions a bit far fetched. But they hold some water. And your interpretation makes much sense. There is yet another thread here dealing with his message. In Germany there are currently many prophetic impressions, that speak of a revival and outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last times. I'm in the camp of those who regard this as a possibility and are open to that. It would match with the Rev 12 sign, it's not a contradiction. The woman as the real true Israel gives birth to a church (the man-child), which starts the coming kingdom of Jesus. Curious about the thoughts of our American friends on that. Hi Stephan I'm in Australia so have a more detached point of view with regards to the American church. But I'm not trying to downplay the significance of the rapture, I just believe there is a remnant of believers who are alive today who are going to be raptured. But some of these are recent converts who only woke up at the last moment. Kind of like those workers in the vineyard in Jesus' parable who only started working in the afternoon but still got a full day's pay. So perhaps this is where we see the fulness of the Gentiles coming in just before the rapture. The prophet Joel prophesied that the Spirit will be poured out on all flesh in the last days. You can just feel that happening right now. God is giving a lot of people a chance to understand what is going on in the spiritual realm. Out of that, some of the seed will bear fruit. Anyway, there are a lot of theories flying around right now about the Day of Atonement. Maybe that's it, but if not perhaps we have to get ready for the long haul. If the rapture really has to happen right on the Feast of Trumpets, then we have another year to wait at least. I see that Scottie Clarke just put out a video where he discusses the possibility that this Jubilee Year, the Day of Atonement gets incorporated into the Feast of Trumpets in some way so if that's the case then we may be out of here in less than a week. We can only watch and wait at this point.

We thought we had it all figured out... turns out God is way bigger than we could imagine... I'll wait with you... getting exciting though! Let's keep watching! Throughout the centuries people thought they got it, thought they found the last piece of the puzzle. And still God surprised them and continues to surprise us today and will continue surprising us even tomorrow. This should make us humble-minded. Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Lets continue to watch, pray and engage in our Lords business.
