Feast of the Trumpets: I have been praying and meditating on the trumpets of the Revelation. With the Rev.12 sign in September, I feel the trumpets are at hand.
I thought they would begin during Trumps Presidency. Only because of the irony of his name. So-- what are the trumpets of Revelation.
The Trumpets herald in events: Read Rev.8-9
Is the first trumpet sounded or a lest ready to sound?
1st Trumpet: Rev.8:6-9: Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down
upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up and all the green
grass was burned up.
What is hail and fire mixed with blood? Is this a war man against man or God against the evil men of this
world? Well, lets look at another place in time when God's people experienced this. Exodus 9:22-26.
Then the Lord said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand toward heaven, so that there may be hail in all the
the land of Egypt, on man and beast and every plant of the field, in the land of Egypt." Then Moses
stretched out his staff toward heaven, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down to the earth.
And the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt. There was hail and fire flashing continually in the midst
of the hail, very heavy hail, such as had never been before in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
The hail struck down everything that was in the field in all the land of Egypt, both man and beast. And the hail struck
down every plant of the field and broke every tree of the field. Only in the Land of Goshen, where the people of Israel
were, was there no hail.
Pause this for a few moments: lets discuss the Hebrew Trumpets:
THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY IS WISDOM: There are four different sounds associated with the Feast of the Trumpets.
They are explained as follows: Tekiah: A straight trumpet blast signifying Kingship. A pure unbroken sound that calls
men to search his heart, abandon his evil ways, and seek forgiveness through repentance.
Shevarim: Three short notes representing a man moaning in repentance. A broken staccato, trembling sound. It typifies
the sorrow that comes to man when he realizes his wrong and desires to change his ways.
Teruah: Nine staccato notes blown in rapid succession, similar to a wail of a person weeping in short bursts. A wave- like
sound of alarm calling upon man to stand by the banner of God.
Tekiah Gedolah: One Long Blast.
The prolonged, unbroken sound typifying a final invitation to sincere repentance and atonement.
Before I go on and explain the Last seven Trumpets, I would like to point out: There has been, in recent years
trumpet sounds recorded globally. Scientist and government official and those who speculate, say it is the H.A.R.P
program. Is it? Look up video's of strange sounds in the sky.
On Rosh Hashanah , a series of one hundred trumpets blast is sounded to announce the setting up of the eternal court, heralding
in God as the all seeing, all- knowing Judge of the Universe. The 100 shofar blast signifies that heavens gates are open wide with
the King seated upon the Throne. His Scepter of grace and mercy are extended in a special way at this time and all through out
the next 10 days.
Jewish tradition says that this court date is to find out who are righteous and have there names in the Book of Life through the
Messiah. All other people are of mixture of good and bad, and God in His mercy will delay their court date for a period of time
to allow them try to prepare a proper defense. The second court date is on Yom Kippur.
On each of the 30 days of repentance in the month of Elul prior to Rosh Hashanah , a shofar will be blown.
These 30 trumpets of Elul are to gather and prepare God's people before His wrath is poured out. The 30th trumpet is called the
Last Trumpet. But it will not be blown on the 30th day. The shofar will skip a day to confuse the enemy about the exact day the King is
coming. The day of 30th trumpet is known as" the day that no man knows."
After 99 blasts of the shofar, the final 100th blast is the loudest and the longest. It is called Tekiah Gedolah. This trumpet- sound is the
one to signify the coming of the Lord "The Last Trumpet. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-" For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of an arch angel, and with the ( Tekiah Gedolah) trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first" Tekiah Gedolah
is not the the last trumpet of 1 Corinthians 15:52, " in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound,
the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with
immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written
will come true: " Death has been swallowed up in victory."
" Where, O death is your victory?
Where O death is your sting?
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore ,
my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that labor is
not in vain.
This, 1 Corinthians 52-58, speaks to the first resurrection- as to what happens at the resurrection.
See, after the cleansing fire upon the earth, the souls (wheat) which are kept in barn. Will be reunited to their new bodies formed from the
dust of the earth as Adam was. Wisdom will be the shroud of the body, imbued with a soul. This is going to get deep- so bare with me.
The soul is free will. Adam and Eve where shrouded in Wisdom. All thought and free will come by the soul. The soul governed by wisdom
is protected from sin. Wisdom was with the Word she was the first of all His works of creation. He poured her forth upon all his works-------(Upon
all His Works.) Now Sirach, Chp.1
God's gift of Wisdom.
1 All wisdom is from the Lord and remains with Him forever.
The sands of the sea, the drops of rain, the days of eternity-who can count them? Heaven's height, earth's extent, the abyss and wisdom-
who can explore them? Before all other things Wisdom was created; and prudent understanding, from eternity.
When Eve reached outside of Wisdom for knowledge, wisdom fled. For wisdom knows not sin. And then Eve shared this knowledge with Adam
they both realized they where naked. Naked ( Flesh) For Wisdom covered their flesh and that was their clothing of God. In the Transfiguration of
Christ, we see Him in His glorified state. This is an example of what we will be at the resurrection. I can go on forever about all the mysteries of
God. But that is for eternity. For now I will go back to the seven Trumpets. Because I think you get the gist of it. More will come forth at it's
appointed time of development.
Tekiah Gedolah and Shofar Hagadol are two different trumpets with 2 very different meanings. They are both a last trumpet but on two different occasions.
Tekiah Gedolah is a last trumpet in a series of 7 trumpets. The Brides beginning of her journey home and the marriage feast begins after the 1st. Shofar HaGadolis the last
trumpet of Yom Kippur and signifies the end of the Great Tribulation period and the Second coming of Christ. Beginning of Trumpets Rev.(chp.8)
We are at the beginning of the last 7 trumpets. We have heard numerous spiritual trumpets globally. The last seven revealed in rev. are upon us.
What does the 1st Trumpet bring- well as stated above: hail and fire mixed with blood? What is this? Let's think, for it is for the bride to know the meaning
of prophecy. Not speaking to what the seven thunders spoke. That will be revealed through the Witnesses. But the first trumpet is at hand. And know: The Bride will
be protected through out all the plagues and calamities coming. But, what is the calamity of the 1st trumpet. Here are some ideas:
I am leaning toward a comet, they are dirty snow balls St. John said: Hail and fire mixed with blood. A comet is made up of ice and rock and oxidized metals
which looks like blood. That is my leaning. However, through out history, there have been events which volcano's have created this affect. Weather patterns are
effected. I am only putting this out as conjecture. I still believe it is a comet. I come to this conclusion because a comet possesses all three qualities described
by John.
Well, what ever it is keep your heads up- it is going to be big. The last trumpets will start and end with a bang.
The Bride will be protected like the Jews of the city of Goshen. Though in the midst of overwhelming fear and terror we will be preserved.
I thought they would begin during Trumps Presidency. Only because of the irony of his name. So-- what are the trumpets of Revelation.
