Wednesday: the lost
Heavenly Father, Thank You for the wonderful gift of Your Son. All of us have someone we love in our life who does not know Him. We ask that You help us to be diligent in praying for them and witnessing to them. We know that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation, that there is power in Your truth. May they be cut to the heart as those in Acts were. May they see the signs of the time that we are in and ask their believing family, "What must we do?" We also pray for those we do not have contact with. May they hear the truth, see the evidence for You, see You at work, something to get their attention, and turn to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Just reading this one now and although a day behind in this thread, my prayer this morning was very similar What really struck me about this more was a comment on the main page under a recent article where someone posted " these people are evil". Lets never forget that we all at one time or another were part of "these people" who were against God. I was deceived, saved, believed in deceit then God graciously opened my eyes to truth.

Thursday: financial concerns
Heavenly Father, We are so thankful that we can come to You with our concerns and worries, our needs, our tears. Thank You for caring for us. There are many right now who are struggling with so many things. One of the biggest being financial concerns. For believers, we ask that You will make a way when it seems that there is no way. Please give them comfort and peace, knowledge that You are caring for them. May these worries also turn many hearts to You. We know that trying times are coming, and we desire many to rely on Christ and not the things of this world. In Jesus name, Amen.

Monday: remember to keep nana in your prayers as she goes in for tests and scans today and tomorrow
Heavenly Father, We come to You today because You are our loving and faithful Father. We ask that You would draw us close. Remind us who we belong to and that You are walking with us. And as Your children we know that You will provide what we need and will not turn us away. Today we need strength from You to continue our work here until You call us Home. We ask for love for those around us - a love that gives us the patience and understanding we need when interacting with others. We ask for patience as we wait for prayers to be answered, or physical needs to be meet, or just comfort and joy for our souls. May we know Your deep and abiding peace. In Jesus name, amen.

Tuesday: continue praying for nana and her tests and scans that are being done
Heavenly Father, We praise You today as the one who is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us blameless before You with great joy. We are thankful that the work was done on the cross and that we are sealed with Your Spirit. And to our God be all glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. May Your will be done in our lives today and may all glory be given to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Wednesday: leaders
Heavenly Father, We lift up our local and state leaders to You today. We are thankful for those who follow You and seek to honor You with the position they have been given. We ask that You would bless them with wisdom, peace, and clear communication as they seek to do what is best for their people during this time. We also pray that those who do not know You would come face to face with that truth and the truth that they need forgiveness and salvation. And even though they are not serving You, we ask that You would help them to do what is right and just for the people under them. May they know how to respond for the various crisis that are going on. And lastly we lift up our national leaders. May there be unity and justice. Please work through them. And change the hearts of those who are not yours. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thursday: keep nana in your prayers (see her thread)
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for those who are in the path of this enormous hurricane that is making landfall. We thank You for the technology that allows people to know it is coming and to prepare for it. Having seen hurricanes in the past though, we know their devastating results. We ask that You protect those that stayed behind. Help guide the rescue crews and those who we know will be called out when it passes. We ask that You would keep people safe so that fatalities are minimum. May those who are impacted turn to the God who created the wind and the waves. In Jesus name, Amen.

Friday: Col 1:9-13
Heavenly Father, Some days we lack the words for prayer, but we know that Your Word is truth and has much that can be used when we don't know what to say. So today we pray from the letter to the Colossians - Asking that believers may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May we be strengthened with all power, according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to You who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. You have delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of Your beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. In His name we pray, Amen.

Please pray for my friend Solomon who is a native of Myanmar (Burma) and is doing mission work there. He is having terrible stomach pain and is going in for an endoscopy. Please pray for complete healing and comfort so he can focus on the mission. Solomon and associates are working on the first Bible translation in their local language. watchmanjim

Monday:
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for several requests that have been posted. We pray for Solomon and ask that You would bring healing to his body. May he be able to have relief from the pain so that he can focus on the work that You have given him to do. We also pray for his associates that You will guide and direct all of them as they work on a translation and minister to those around them. Also today we continue to pray for nana and the decisions that she is having to make. We ask that You would also give her healing, encouragement, and wisdom. Please help thetimeoftheend to stay strong against the enemies attacks. Strengthen his armor, help his focus, and guide him as he leads those you have given him to lead. We ask these things in the name of Jesus, amen.

Tuesday:
Heavenly Father, We thank You for sending Jesus to die on the cross and rise again for the forgiveness of sin. We thank You for the simple message that He did it all. Today we pray for those that are trapped by a false gospel. We know that there are many false gospels out there. We ask that You open their eyes - get their attention. We know that Your Word says many will gather teachers that teach only what they want to hear. May their desires change and may they not be satisfied with anything less than the Truth. In Jesus name, Amen.

Wednesday: Paul's prayer Eph 1:17-19
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for the church as the way Paul did in Ephesians...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give us the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of our hearts enlightened, that we may know what is the hope to which You have called us, what are the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe. And may we stand firm in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus, in His name we pray, amen.

Our almighty Father in Heaven, all praise and honor are yours forever. Father, please fill us with your spirit. Fill us that we may understand what we read in your Word. Stir your Spirit within us when we read or hear a truth that we may know it for what it is. Many dreams and visions have been given lately. I pray you help us to discern them and understand the truth that is in them. It appears that the final days of this world could be in the next few months if not days. Make us strong of heart for heart-breaking days are coming. Strengthen our faith that we may support others with our confidence in you. And please, please, guide our minds and thoughts to focus on what is important to you and not what we think is important. Shake our spirit with your Spirit to keep us awake and alert and ready. I fervently pray in Your Son's Holy and Glorious Name, Jesus the Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Amen
