Thursday: earthquakes
Heavenly Father, We come to You with heavy hearts when we think of those who have been impacted lately by the large earthquakes. We ask that You guide rescue workers and aid organizations. Guide those who are cleaning up and doing repairs. We ask that You comfort those who have lost loved ones or homes. Draw them to You; be very real to them so that they search for You. May the things happening in our world point people to their need for Jesus. In His name we pray, amen.

Friday:
Heavenly Father, Sometimes watching all that is going on is overwhelming. We ask that You would give us strength to keep fighting the good fight. My we not be overwhelmed but may we not grow cold either. May we not get used to the violence and wickedness. Help us also to bring hope to those around us. May we share the answer for all of this. And may we have joy as we continue watching for the return of our King. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Monday: check the prayer request page is you have time
Heavenly Father, We thank You today for those men and women who serve their communities as policemen, firemen, and EMTs. We ask that You would give them wisdom as they do their jobs. Help them to stay safe. It's a tough time to be in some of these positions. May they be encouraged by those around them who do value what they do. And may they seek You with their whole heart. In Jesus name, amen.

Tuesday:
Heavenly Father, We thank You for those who choose to become teachers and educators. It is not an easy job. And with the restrictions from lock down, it has often become more difficult, frustrating, and complicated. We ask today that You will give strength, patience, and wisdom to them. May they also be able to show Your love to their students. In Jesus name, amen.

"For this reason, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous person is powerful in what it can achieve." - James 5:16
We, and the whole Church, are blessed by these prayers. I believe the Spirit has been encouraging me and my family lately that there should be no limit to the boldness with which we pray and that sometimes we receive not because we ask not. I've been praying more lately for the worldwide Church and for the salvation of multitudes. I'm also praying that the Church will universally grow into a better understanding of doctrine and spiritual maturity.

Thursday (repost from May) for Israel
Heavenly Father, We know that Your Word says to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And so we pray that Your peace will settle in the hearts of the Jewish people. May they soften their hearts and turn their minds toward You, knowing that if they search earnestly for the truth that You will show them. May they see the truth in their Scriptures and come to know true peace by coming to know the Prince of Peace. We pray for wisdom for Israel's leaders. And we pray that they put their trust in You and not anything man can do. We thank You for keeping Your promises to Israel for in doing so we can trust Your promises to us. We look forward to the blessings that will be poured out on them when they come to Jesus. It's in His name we pray, Amen.

Thursday: persecuted church (repost from May)
Heavenly Father, We come to You today on behalf of Christians worldwide who are being persecuted. We pray that they will stand firm in their faith and place all their trust in You because You are trustworthy. We also pray for those doing the persecuting. May they see the Gospel at work and hear the truth so that their hearts can also be changed. We have read how Paul was changed and know that Jesus changes people. We pray for comfort for those who are separated from their families because of persecution. May they lean on You and the promises in Your Word. For this is not our home. In Jesus name, Amen.

Monday: missionaries
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for the missionaries throughout the world. We ask that You would thoroughly equip them for the spiritual battle they are in. We ask that You would open doors that seem shut, open ears that are closed, and soften hearts with the Gospel. We ask that You will be their comfort when it's lonely, their healer when there is sickness, and their light when it seems so very dark. We also pray for those who have accepted Your truth and trusted in Jesus. May they continue to serve Him only and grow as disciples. In His name we pray, Amen.
We have some missionaries at church that are trying to return to the field. If you would, pray for them to have wisdom and that the country would be more open to letting citizens of other countries in. Right now it would very expensive for them to return.

Tuesday: I'm just reposting some previous ones. If someone has something they want prayed on, please say so. Heavenly Father, We thank You, Father, for sending Your Son. We are thankful that we have a High Priest who intercedes for us. We are grateful that we can come to You through Him. We ask today that You will strengthen our faith where it is lacking. May we also be able to stand for Your truth and turn from everything else. Help us to run and not grow weary. May we be able to keep our mind on the things above and not the things of this earth, for in that we also know that we will have peace and rest. Remind us that You have all that we need and our treasure is stored with You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Tuesday: I'm just reposting some previous ones. If someone has something they want prayed on,
Natalie, I so appreciate your prayers that we can all pray together! Such power in corporate prayer! As I know all of us, keeping close to our LORD and Savior, sense the need for prayer, I wanted to ask for battle-prayers, pressing into HIM and HIS Word, into the spiritual realm where we fight! I was in a valley a bit ago but the LORD, ever Faithful, snapped me out of it. HIS words to me in my spirit said: it has to happen, in order for change to come. I had just prayed through Ps 102 to our LORD, and when I prayed through vv 25, 26, that's when that thought came to me. All this craziness has to happen so that HE can bring change! So HE wants us battle-ready, fully armored, fully equipped in the power of HIS Word, praying and speaking it out into the darkness!! Hallelujah!

Wednesday: Glory to God
Heavenly Father, We praise You today as the one who is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us blameless before You with great joy. We are thankful that the work was done on the cross and that we are sealed with Your Spirit. And to our God be all glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. May Your will be done in our lives today and may all glory be given to You. Thank You for the many ways You have blessed us. Thank You for taking care of us, helping us to mature, and helping us to love one another. In Jesus name, Amen.

Each day my hope is for life to return to normal and when I hear of the lies, bad and manipulated story lines, etc. and think about how our young ones are affected in a great way I get frustrated. It hurts me all the more to understand what is coming and realizing that many will go through a time even worse than this, perhaps even the church will too (depending on end times timing - but not the place for eschatological debate). Yet I am reminded that the Book is already written and our God is faithful to His children. He will never leave or forsake you or me. Though the world is unraveling around us, our hope is not in this world as it is the kingdom of the enemy. Our King and His Kingdom are coming soon!

Thursday: Paul's prayer Eph 1:17-19
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for the church as the way Paul did in Ephesians...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give us the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of our hearts enlightened, that we may know what is the hope to which You have called us, what are the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe. And may we stand firm in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus, in His name we pray, amen.

Friday: Thanksgiving
Heavenly Father, We take a moment today to remember all the things that You have given us and done for us. We have the beauty of creation, with the rain, and sun, and stars, and amazing sights like comets. Everyday we can see the work of Your hands. We have the gifts of Your Son and Spirit. We have this forum as a place of worship, learning, friendship. Each of us have many ways that we can praise and thank you this day. We are blessed indeed. In Jesus name, Amen

Monday: Pastors/teachers
Heavenly Father, We thank You today for those pastors and teachers who are solid followers of Jesus, who teach the Word truthfully, and who desire to see their congregations well fed. We ask that You give them the strength and wisdom they need to stand firm against all that seems to be coming at the Church. May they also be a source of strength and encouragement to those who know them. Thank You for the Gospel and for those who proclaim its truth. In Jesus name, amen.
