That prayer is now more important than ever. I'm not sure if anyone has seen this, but some folks put together a website to send gospel postcard mailers to everyone's unsaved friends or family. It's anonymous and they'll send three. themastersmail.org

Thursday:day of thanksgiving
Heavenly Father, We take a moment today to remember all the things that You have given us and done for us. We have the beauty of creation. We have the gifts of Your Son and Spirit. We have this forum as a place of worship, learning, friendship. Each of us have many ways that we can praise and thank you this day. We are blessed indeed. In Jesus name, Amen
(take time to thank Him for the ways He has blessed you personally)

Friday: thoughts from Hebrews 3
Heavenly Father, Thank You for the promise of rest. We know that as believers we currently have a rest in Christ. He did the work and the work is finished. Help us to hold fast to that confession as we see the nearness of His return. Help us to exhort one another to remain faithful and not give in to the deceitfulness of sin. For we also know that there is complete rest coming. Rest from enemies, rest in the Kingdom, and a rest from our struggle with our own sinful nature. Thank You for the work You are doing in us now. Guide us and give us the strength to finish well. We pray in Jesus name, amen.

Monday:
Heavenly Father, We come to You today because You are our loving and faithful Father. We ask that You would draw us close. Remind us who we belong to and that You are walking with us. And as Your children we know that You will provide what we need and will not turn us away. Today we need strength from You to continue our work here until You call us Home. We ask for love for those around us - a love that gives us the patience and understanding we need when interacting with others. We ask for patience as we wait for prayers to be answered, or physical needs to be met, or just comfort and joy for our souls. May we know Your deep and abiding peace. In Jesus name, amen.

Tuesday: praise
Heavenly Father, We praise You today as the one who is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us blameless before You with great joy. We are thankful that the work was done on the cross and that we are sealed with Your Spirit. And to our God be all glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. May Your will be done in our lives today and may all glory be given to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Wednesday: leaders
Heavenly Father, We lift up our local and state leaders to You today. We are thankful for those who follow You and seek to honor You with the position they have been given. We ask that You would bless them with wisdom, peace, and clear communication as they seek to do what is best for their people during this time. We also pray that those who do not know You would come face to face with that truth and the truth that they need forgiveness and salvation. And even though they are not serving You, we ask that You would help them to do what is right and just for the people under them. May they know how to respond for the various crisis that are going on. And lastly we lift up our national leaders. May there be unity and justice. Please work through them. And change the hearts of those who are not yours. In Jesus name, amen.

Thursday: churches
Heavenly Father, we lift up our local churches to You. We ask that You guide the pastors, teachers, and elders as they make decisions on how to worship during this time. We ask that You guard Your children as they gather for worship. Please give strength and encouragement to those that are still doing things online. May they still reach out to each other and be the body together. May they find a way to gather together to worship. May this time be a time where people are guided to the truth. In Jesus name, Amen

There are many church pastors, teacher and leaders who have strayed from Your truth accepting doctrines of man, please unblind hearts and minds. Your purpose and plan be manifest as You are the Sovereign King! We look to You at this time, this day and look for Your appearing!

Friday: Col 1:9-13
Heavenly Father, Some days we lack the words for prayer, but we know that Your Word is truth and has much that can be used when we don't know what to say. So today we pray from the letter to the Colossians - Asking that believers may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May we be strengthened with all power, according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to You who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. You have delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of Your beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. In His name we pray, Amen.

Monday: Bible translation
Heavenly Father, Today we lift up those who long to take Your word to those who do not have it by the means of giving them a Bible in their own language -- to hear Your truth in the language of their heart. We ask that you would guide them in the process. Give them wisdom as they work with groups that not only need Your word, but they need to start with a alphabet, grammar, and a written language. May they produce translations that are faithful, are well understood, and will reach many. Guide the distributions of the written copies and the audio versions. May Your word light the darkness that is in so many places. In Jesus name, Amen

Monday: Paul's prayer Eph 1:17-19
Heavenly Father, We come to You today to pray for the church as the way Paul did in Ephesians...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give us the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of our hearts enlightened, that we may know what is the hope to which You have called us, what are the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe. And may we stand firm in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus, in His name we pray, amen.

Wednesday:
Heavenly Father, Sometimes watching all that is going on is overwhelming. Please give us Your peace so that we may not fear or be anxious. We ask that You would give us strength to keep fighting the good fight. Help us to walk in the good works You have laid out for us. May we speak truth with love. May we not be overwhelmed but may we not grow cold either. May we not get used to the violence and wickedness. Help us also to bring hope to those around us. May we share the answer for all of this. And may we have joy as we continue watching for the return of our King. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Thursday:
Heavenly Father, We thank You today for those men and women who serve their communities as policemen, firemen, and EMTs. We ask that You would give them wisdom as they do their jobs. Help them to stay safe. It's a tough time to be in some of these positions. May they be encouraged by those around them who do value what they do. And may they seek You with their whole heart. In Jesus name, amen.

Monday: Israel
Heavenly Father, We know that Your Word says to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And so we pray that Your peace will settle in the hearts of the Jewish people. May they soften their hearts and turn their minds toward You, knowing that if they search earnestly for the truth that You will show them. May they see the truth in their Scriptures and come to know true peace by coming to know the Prince of Peace. We pray for wisdom for Israel's leaders. And we pray that they put their trust in You and not anything man can do. We thank You for keeping Your promises to Israel for in doing so we can trust Your promises to us. We look forward to the blessings that will be poured out on them when they come to Jesus. It's in His name we pray, Amen.

Thinking about the election craziness, one small silver lining in all the election craziness is that the Biden administration has surprisingly decided to keep the embassy in Jerusalem and to keep military aid flowing.
