I mentioned South Korea earlier as having some of the better data because they have done more testing for the virus relative to their population than any other country. Using their numbers as of today, there are 7979 cases and 71 deaths in South Korea. That's a death rate of 0.89%, less than 1%. Even in South Korea it is likely that many asymptomatic or mild symptom cases go untested and therefore unreported meaning that even .89% is likely higher than the actual death rate. This is still worse than the typical flu, and may be worse than even a bad flu year like 2018 when 80,000 Americans died from flu, but put in context, it's still a relatively low risk. People die every day in car accidents, but that doesn't stop most Americans from driving. There were 36,560 deaths from auto accidents in the USA in 2018. So far Covid-19 deaths as of this writing are 5,397 GLOBALLY and only 41 in the USA. Yes, it might still get worse, but they're saying that China, South Korea, and Singapore are already seeing the number of cases decline. The math for this virus really does not seem to warrant the panic, unless I am missing something... practice run... |

Salons, restaurants, bars, dentists, now chiropractic offices closed in my area. It is believed we have two cases in my local area, one at each of our hospitals. Waiting on test results to come back. Lord please come!

Eschatology today has a graphic on history of pandemics. Doesn't zoom in much and words become blurred the more you do, but you can still get perspective. Granted this is only a few months in and some of the bigger pandemics lasted years. Also, look at the literal breakdown of the word - Pandemonium. Nevertheless, Eschatology Today notes that there are still far too many believing Christians who've become caught up in the media-driven pandemonium over nCoV-19! Look closer at the italicized key word above. Pandemonium. It literally means a place of (pan = all; demonium = place of demons) "all demons." It is just such an appropriate a word to use because the inculcated abject fear is demonically driven. Eschatology Today recently highlighted and provided exegesis on Matthew 24:3-8. This is where the believing Christian should be firmly anchored, not in the corporate media-driven pandemonium gripping the world. |

I just saw this on multiple sources. I guess to some its spreading fear. To me, its being a sheepdog.
I don't know if it will get to this, but we know for a fact the unemployment numbers just came in and as of this week they are over 3 million. So the economic damage is far worse than the virus!!
Why would they do this?
I firmly believe its incrementalism.
If they can convince the world by hysteria that this is the black plague then people quickly comply when a breakthrough virus is discovered/created. Hmmm

This one has an article, and also the short video from Pastor Allen at Law of Liberty. The video is about 9 minutes and very good.
Last week, Denmark passed a law in their senate - by overwhelming majority that involves police to force people to be tested for the virus, and will also include forcing people to be vaccinated when the vaccine comes available - Those who do not comply - will be banned from all public transport and shops. Hmmm.
For anyone who is skeptical - thinks this might be an internet hoax - you can also find a lot of stuff on "ID2020"
When the death toll is 23000 and rising rapidly - having a medical database doesn't sound bad. Then - It's a very small step to add your SS # and bank account information, and blood type, etc etc.
One company in the US - It's in the NE - I can't remember if New Hampshire or Vermont?? is already using RFID chips with its' employees. They can use the chip to purchase meals and snacks and drinks, and is touted as a way to prevent identity theft. www.technologyreview.com/s/611884/this-company-embeds-microchips-in-its-employees-and-they-love-it/
It's also in use in Sweden, where it's becoming more popular.
Just think - Hypothetically, if this is the year for the rapture, - the whole world is totally aware of and affected by coronavirus - that gives 3 1/2 years for the AC and the Beast system to make this technology as widely-known as wi-fi. "For the safety, health and security of the world".

You can have both things going on at the same time. Is this virus worse than is being reported? Yes, I believe so. Is the panic right now worse than the virus? Yes, I believe so. Does the media fuel that panic? Of course. I think this is part of why China, Russia, and others are withholding info. They don't want too much data revealed to adversaries of possible weakness. Economically or militarily. That doesn't mean that the panic isn't overblown, because it is having that effect. However, the virus is not subsiding, it's getting worse. 520,395 cases and 23,593 deaths is a 4.5% death rate as of this posting. That's now 45 times higher than a regular flu season. Those numbers are jumping more and more each day. Those countries not reporting or under-reporting are most likely not doing so for both cases and deaths, so it's a wash in my opinion. And my guess is most people that have a normal flu during a normal flu season don't report at all, which makes the regular flu death rate even smaller. Also, aged population stats between countries is only a percentage point or few, so I don't think that is anything too significant to point to. This virus is still smaller than some big pandemics in history, but we are only a few months in and some of those lasted years. But again, a big but, the panic is definitely causing more hardships and will continue to do so. The demons are working overtime to destroy this world from both angles. All we can do is watch, pray, help when help can be given, and stay as safe as possible. |

My state of NH just announced a "Stay at home order".
I was out all day, checking on my projects, talking to contractors, and gathering supplies from a few stores. I had the strong sense that I needed to stop this behavior. Just not safe from watching the exponential infection rate trending over the past few weeks, and now its firmly here and spreading in my quiet little state. Worst yet, many of us may already have it and won't know for days or weeks. So I told the wife when I got home that I was done going out, other than for provisions when needed.
Unless the Lord steps in, this virus is not going to stop. Summer will not kill it. The numbers from China are a joke. i'm thinking they have lost 100k +, probably more.
Anyway, the Gov got it right today.
Still trusting Jesus to keep us safe and praying angels are encamped around all of us right now. Amen.

You think China has 500 thousand infected and 100,000 already dead or do you mean like worst case scenario? The latest numbers of total deaths worldwide from Johns Hopkins are approx 24,000. The thing is that Italy totally skews the data. They have the highest percentage of elderly population in Europe. The other thing the media doesn't report is that something like 85% of the deaths were over 65 and who already had 2 health issues, like asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure or diabetes. I don't know what's behind it, but I'm convinced that this is another of many converging signs. For this huge community of sheepdogs - who are not children of the darkness but children of the day, the rapture will not surprise us like a thief in the night 😉 |

No sir...that is not a typo. I think China is close to 500,000 infections at this point. China is lying. Its all about math & exponential growth. Every two weeks the (reliable) numbers are growing 10x. This is true in the US and it's true worldwide. China stopped reporting the true numbers when they got to 80,000. Math doesn't lie. It took us From March 18 (9197 cases) to today to get to 85k...which will be 100,000 by April 1. By April 15, we will have 1,000,000 cases in the US and By May 1, unless drastic measures are taken or God himself stops it, we will be at 10,000,000. This is how exponential growth works.  China is lying (as is Iran). The chart below is statistically impossible. Laughable.  |
