venge , I can't help but respond to this. In the latter years of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st, there were famines here and there around the world as well as big earthquakes. There was the swine flu and then the bird flu, etc etc. I believe that the end was not yet, then. Since then we've had MERS, and SARS, and H1N1, and now COVID-19. Also, famines have only increased and then this was from two days ago from the YT channel DutchSinse: I don't think these earthquakes can be categorized as "in divers places." I don't mean to be unduly firm about this, but I think that all signs read that the end is now. The bridge is out up ahead. We must pay attention. Am I troubled? No. Am I concerned? Yes, very! I have loved ones who I do not believe have taken the signs seriously or have ignored them all together. I feel safe under Jesus' wing. I know he will protect me and my family. But if I must suffer more before He comes for me, then so be it. His will, and not mine, be done. Prayers and love to you, Brothers and Sisters. I hope to see you soon!
edit: I don't mean unduly firm to you specifically, venge ,, but just to anyone that thinks 'well, we've got a little time yet'. Do we? How much? Do you(general you) know? Of course I don’t know. That is why I said we need to watch and continue to be faithful while not giving into what the world perceives as the answer. It’s ok to be concerned, that is normal emotion. I was talking about seduction, not concern. On another note: www.indiapost.com/corona-virus-is-god-unhappy-with-mankind/

7Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
If this helps anyone to target prayers toward the battle going on, let's grasp what is at hand. Our "breath" is being attacked. Yet according to some reports, Children are not being affected.. Praise Him, Praise Him for His Son, the man-child, who takes away the sin of the world, and target the prayers accordingly.. 16“A little while, and you will no longer see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me.” 20“Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy.
**21“Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.
22“Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
23“In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. 24“Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. 25“These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father. 26“In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; 27for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father. 28“I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again and going to the Father.” 29His disciples said, “Lo, now You are speaking plainly and are not using a figure of speech. 30“Now we know that You know all things, and have no need for anyone to question You; by this we believe that You came from God.” 31Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe? 32“Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
33“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

I mentioned South Korea earlier as having some of the better data because they have done more testing for the virus relative to their population than any other country. Using their numbers as of today, there are 7979 cases and 71 deaths in South Korea. That's a death rate of 0.89%, less than 1%. Even in South Korea it is likely that many asymptomatic or mild symptom cases go untested and therefore unreported meaning that even .89% is likely higher than the actual death rate. This is still worse than the typical flu, and may be worse than even a bad flu year like 2018 when 80,000 Americans died from flu, but put in context, it's still a relatively low risk. People die every day in car accidents, but that doesn't stop most Americans from driving. There were 36,560 deaths from auto accidents in the USA in 2018. So far Covid-19 deaths as of this writing are 5,397 GLOBALLY and only 41 in the USA. Yes, it might still get worse, but they're saying that China, South Korea, and Singapore are already seeing the number of cases decline. The math for this virus really does not seem to warrant the panic, unless I am missing something...

Illinois schools closed until the end of the month. Part of that was Spring Break anyway. I homeschool so it doesn't matter to me.
Husband went out to Walmart to pick up something I had ordered but not shipped to our house. He said it was crazy, but people are buying more than just toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

My small town was really busy today with people purchasing food. I know a lot of people who didn't stay local and took off to brave the crowds at Costco and Wal-Mart (1.5 hours away). I think that because of everyone who didn't stay local, our supplies here aren't too bad. Toilet Paper keeps coming in on supply orders but can't find hand sanitizer or Lysol wipes.
Hockey Canada shut down all hockey so my daughter's hockey season was cancelled early. Our schools haven't been cancelled yet so until they are some other activities seem to be continuing. But lots of things and events that wouldn't even see the 250 recommended cancellation level have been cancelled.
I was thinking today about my Grandma's funeral 3 weeks ago. (In "Dreams" Thread for reference). How that if she hadn't passed at that time, we wouldn't have seen many attend her funeral or for that matter, we may have not had a funeral. God definitely has a plan when he had me speak at her funeral.
With all the restrictions on activities and interactions, and potentially more to come, I am thankful that God was able to use me in that moment to share about how He is always faithful.

Here in Virginia, my dad and I went to purchase essentials and other things at the Walmart Neighborhood Market grocery store, and we spent over $130 in groceries. NASCAR has postponed all races through May 3rd, which includes the spring weekend here in Richmond. I’m kind of bummed about that part because I wanted to go to the Saturday night NASCAR Truck Series race, as it was the first time in 15 years that the trucks were going to be racing here in Richmond. Now, I’m going to have to look forward to IndyCar coming to Richmond in June. The public events surrounding the NFL Draft out in Las Vegas this year have been cancelled, with the team selection still taking place and being televised, but no fans or any big events. I’m just praying that maybe somehow we find a way out of this, but if this leads up to the Rapture, then I don’t think it will let up.

The walmart and Sam's in our closest big town has run out of paper and now people from there are traveling to the nearby small towns and cleaning out the grocery and dollar stores. I couldn't buy supplies if I wanted to as I'm currently OD from paying bills. If this doesn't subside soon, and I don't think it will, people will start raiding house to house because people who don't know Jesus Christ don't care that you do. Prayers for protection and a soon flight out of here!

stormyknight, I'm just waiting for the rioting to start in Chicago and LA. As for bands of roving marauders going house to house...I've considered that possibility. However, such miscreants should be aware that here in America, many of us who know Jesus also know Smith and Wesson.

the rioting and looting will begin should this 'shutdown' remain beyond two weeks. Based on our President statement yesterday (July/August) it likely will. When people most affected by loss of income cannot provide necessities for their families, they will riot. While it is likely the National Guard will be called in, they cannot control everyone in every city.
Remember the mindset - most people on lockdown are currently healthy. Many reports indicate this virus is not much more than the common cold to those who are young and/or healthy. Thinking that way coupled with "no food for may family" will create much havoc.

However, such miscreants should be aware that here in America, many of us who know Jesus also know Smith and Wesson. I've thought of that fitz, and where I live, I can see anyone coming for about 3-5 miles and have the resources to stop them in their tracks at 400 yards, but should I? I would rather invite them in for what meager dinner we could rustle up. But I'm also not so naive to think they'd go for that. God willing they would, but there is a lot of meth addicts in western Kansas and I don't think a meth-starved caller is going to be in their right mind. I also now have a 3 month old grandson in my house.. and this hurts to type, but I will die before I let anyone lay hands on him!!!!!

Just read an article in France. People complaining they cannot buy luxury things due to covid19 and that may continue through the year. Does that sound like the things people lust after or what? Sounds like right out of Revelation. For me, If I see the destruction of all goods or lack of access to them....that’s gotta be a red flag. Especially, if what follows is economic collapse and any type of false prophet rises. I know we keep saying it, but this is odd!!!
Has anyone here thought of: could covid19 cause a falling away or perhaps the result of the viruses effect on the world and its economy causes it? Probably not, just thinking of possible ramifications of this.
Another article labeled it that we are at war. Just the words used lately make me think of end times. Why is that? I’m not one to do that with any world events. Not even Turkey, Russia or when Damascus was being destroyed but this is different.

That is how I see it mike. If we get to a stage of despair, we will see brother against brother. People fighting over goods and looking to blame others. Hearts of many growing cold. I once told my wife, if we do go through a day when we have a collapse, are we prepared? Not to weather it. But when we have little food, will we be generous to others at our door-or do we keep it for us and our children. Do we shoot anyone at the door who will steal our food or do we allow them to take it. I’ve grown to be more of a pacifist the more I study. If he strikes you on one cheek, turn the other. Vengeance is God’s alone. Those who live by the sword die by it also. Remember, if it gets bad to hold onto the faith. Not just Christ died and rose to wash your sins, but the gospel message itself. Love and peace with all men, even our enemies who steal our food, threaten our families and wish to rob things that waste away like rust. Don’t love your lives unto death and there will be a crown laid up for you. I know we all eagerly wait for him. But I think at this time, we must especially make sure we are testing ourselves daily to be ready when or if we are tested by others that we may appear truthful, faithful and strong in his word.

Movement will be tracked, now at the local level. The true New World Order is being aggressively implemented. Even if this virus goes by the way-side, I don't believe these governmental orders will be rolled back. This will be the "new normal" as we move forward. Headline: Israelis not allowed to leave their homes unless ‘absolutely necessary’ www.jpost.com/Breaking-News/Israelis-with-coronavirus-Health-Ministry-reports-304-patients-621258From link - The government rolled out a new set of restrictions on the Israeli population Tuesday as the number of coronavirus patients increased to 337 at press time and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised there would be a dramatic increase in the number of sick people detected, tests taken and hospital equipment available to serve the infected. “We started today using the digital technology that detects those who come in contact with coronavirus patients,” Netanyahu said in a press briefing. “We will send these people into isolation. These will be large numbers. Isolation is not a recommendation - it is mandatory, and we will enforce it without compromise."
