I received my vaccine today. 1st dose. Only side effects was a little headache and fatigue about 7-8 hrs after injection. Not bad for first dose. For those worried, I’m immunodeficient and it wasn’t a bad experience at all.
I will happily state any issues I have here for transparency over the next few weeks for those on the fence.
EDIT: After writing this, I did experience a sore arm where the injection site was about 8 and a half hours after the shot. It feels like a baseball hit my arm. Made it impossible to sleep on that arm.
2nd EDIT: BTW, I am providing this update not to move any of you to vaccinate. I am just giving you an honest account from a member here instead of a news source from someone you don't know. The vaccine is not for everyone. I told my mother not to get it. Why? Because she is alone, retired, and isnt around many people. When more get vaccinated and we can look at long term effects, then she should get it.
Why did I get it then? I volunteered because I need it in order to do my job safely. I don't want to bring any disease home to my family, and working has me interact with many people. For the safety of myself and my family, I choose to do this. If I had a job where I could stay home and be productive, I would most likely wait a few months before getting it to see how the rollout across the nation looks. Each case is different depending on our medical history and what we do for a living. Because I got vaccinated, am I trusting medicine over God's protection? No, not at all. The day I went in, I prayed to God for his help. I acknowledge that he will do with me as he pleases. Regardless of medicine or not, I am in his hands. But, I also believe that God made man intelligent to create medicines like this to help people. We are given intellect and tools. Mankind chooses to use them for good or evil. I cannot think that medicines thought to do good, would be abhorrent to God. For me, it is not a matter of faith over medicine. My faith is unwavering. But my body is flesh and is breakable. We allow medicine when having a child, we allow it when our children break their arm and we allow it when we need it to survive - like insulin for diabetics.

Thank you venge, for sharing something so personal to you and your family. I have always known that you have the heart of a great warrior; it has shown through in our many conversations. In my opinion we are engaged in a great war and many will make choices for others to follow. This war has been building since WWII just as that war was building since WWI. Yet our war is just now starting to become hot as the inauguration of the president draws near. So I do not believe a choice to get a vaccine is the looming issue but the willingness to live a Christ like life. How we treat one another; how we love each other, that is the issue at hand. Thank you venge, for your love and Christ like walk in this life. |

Citizens that are placed in detention will be released once health authorities determine that they are no longer contagious, the proposed law states. The bill also allows the governor or relevant health authorities to require people deemed potential health risks to submit to medical examinations as well as undergo a “prescribed course of treatment, preventative medication or vaccination.” |

It is very hard to understand why anyone would get a covid vaxx??? There is so much information out there about what is in the vaxx and the potential for what it can do and will do to your body. .... and they will still require you to wear wear a mask....smh

It is not and does not meet the criteria for being considered a vaccine. It is not a vaccine and does not keep you from getting the disease, nor transmitting it to anyone else. Listen to the information and decide. I'm not trying to change minds if you're decided on either position, rather to ensure people have knowledge as without it we perish

I won't be taking it nor any other vaccination that comes down the pike. The federal govt has burned their last bridge of trust with me. I'll be praying for those that have taken this that nothing serious happens to them in the short-term and long-term, because at this point we have no idea. |

My mom has signed me up with the Department of Health here in Virginia for the COVID vaccine. Since I'm a higher-risk person, I hope to be approved and get it here soon. We had to ask one of my cardiologists that deals with my pacemaker about any potential heart issues with the vaccine, and he says I should be good, so I'm praying it will be successful. Now I hope that when I get the vaccine, that Bill Gates won't be talking to me through my arm where I get the shot. Lol.

Do you think there is something sinister going on with the vaccine or are there big-time risks with it??? Consider too, because of my special needs and my higher-risk identity, it may NOT be entirely my choice because my parents will likely be making the call. So, if your words are true, I will pray that God will cause a change of heart in my parents in regards to the vaccine, but if not, then my parents and I will go ahead with the vaccine. It's entirely up to the Lord to cause His Spirit to work in my parents or not, so I'll rely on Him whether your words are true or not. |

matthew2423 first this is not from me, but from the retired doctor in the video. I put my comments in blue, his are black and "quoted" and italicized. He cites our current laws, and other medical procedures & processes regarding clinical trials, some which is in the description below the video if you view on YT rather than embedded in the thread above. There is a transcript of the video also embedded in the video. The choice is up to you or anyone else reading this. Read his information or listen to it OR DONT, its up to you. But just like I am careful about what I feed my spiritual health (reading, TV, music...), I am careful with what I put into my physical body IN SUMMARY He first cites the rules from the Federal Trade Commission.- It is unlawful under the FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 41 et seq., to advertise that a product or service can prevent, treat, or cure human disease
unless you possess competent and reliable scientific evidence, including, when appropriate, well-controlled human clinical studies,
substantiating that the claims are true at the time they are made.
Pfizer and Moderna have been labelling this as a vaccine. He then cites the 1905 Jacobson case where the Supreme court ruled that:
- "this Court has more than once
recognized as a fundamental principle that persons and property are subjected to all kinds of
restraints and burdens in order to secure the general comfort, health and prosperity of a state"
In other words it is acceptable to vaccinate the population if the benefit of doing so outweighs the individual desire. He then goes on to discuss Moderna SEC filings: - Moderna was started and if you go
back and look at their SEC filings, and we've gone through all their SEC filings, they make a point of
saying that their technology is a gene therapy technology - gene therapy technology - you'll notice
that they don't say vaccination. They actually say gene therapy technology. And it was set up to be a
cancer treatment. So, this is gene therapy chemotherapy. What he is pointing out is that Moderna does not produce vaccine, they are a gene therapy company. In fact I reviewed their website a few months ago and found none of the drugs they use have ever been approved. This is the first treatment ever approved for use for Moderna.
This is a quote from the video:This treatment is a fragment of nucleic acid. It's not
mRNA. It's not natural. It's not even a natural component of a fragment, it's a synthetic fragment. It's
a technology embedded within a fat carrier, a PEG carrier. And that is being introduced into the cell,

term is actually not a legally defined term in an enormous number of statutes that govern vaccines"The definition of a vaccine in the code for Iowa is " vaccine and uncoated means a specially prepared antigen
administered to a person for the purpose of providing immunity once again, the operative
definition, which is to say that when exposed to a pathogen, you are not susceptible.
And in Washington the legally defined term now this is in the statute means a " preparation of a killed or attenuated living microorganism, or fraction thereof." Ask yourself how something synthetically made meets this definition? And then the CDC says a vaccine is a product that stimulates a person's immune system to produce
immunity
This is why I found it sooooo ODD when the CEO of Pfizer said "you'll still need a mask, still socially distance, can still experience mild symptoms and possibly spread this to others!How in the world is this being called a vaccine? It is certainly not a vaccine it is a treatment to mitigate (minimize) the symptoms of the virus.
LOOPHOLES EXPLOITED to get around it being labelled as a vaccine rather than a treatment. You cant be vaccination for something that doesnt meet or measure the standards
" you cannot have a

And that let's quote, shall we, from the New England Journal of Medicine, and from the Lancet. And
this is October, and this is December respectively and I'm just going to go ahead and read this quote.
“At the time of this writing, no correlate of protection from sars-cov-2 has been established.” " <==this is directly from the trials!!! - Section 5(a) of the FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 45(a), prohibits “unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce.” Further, misrepresentations or deceptive omissions of material facts constitute deceptive acts or practices prohibited by this section of the Act. Notably, Section 12(a) of the FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 52(a), prohibits the dissemination of any false advertisement in or affecting commerce for the purpose of inducing, or which is likely to induce, the purchase of food, drugs, devices, services, or cosmetics. Supple is a “drug” as “drug” is defined in Section 15(c) of the FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 55(c).
I really cant type up any further. Beyond this point he explains how they get around assigning liability under Emergency Use...Young man, you need to take account for yourself and at the very least ask your parents to listen to this or read the transcript (again transcript embedded above). I understand that you may want this or they want it for you. However if you believe you are taking a vaccine, you are not.
