I’m still studying Mystery Babylon. It’s not a position I hold tightly like I do my ideas on a Daniel 9:27. That was my off-the-cuff response when you asked if I thought Israel was Mystery Babylon. I should have said, “No, it’s not Israel and I’m not 100% sure who it is, but right now I think it’s the Vatican.” As far as I can tell right now, there are absolutely true followers of Jesus in the Catholic Church, and it is these who are asked to "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; - Revelation 18:4 But I think at its core, the Vatican is run by reptilians who worship Christ in pretense but who are truly worshiping the false gods called baphomet, molech, and tammuz. Oh absolutely not. I think the Catholic Church is mystery Babylon. But Israel playing the whore is not a new idea... it’s found in Hosea as well as this passage in Ezekiel. May I ask a question: If the catholic Church is Babylon, and Babylon needs to be a city with a religion that is Antichrist...how do you explain this as Catholics believe in Christ and they don't deny Christ? Also, those of this religion will behead by the sword. I do not know any Catholics who do this. Lastly, The religion has to be a fast growing religion based on opposing Gods truth and opposing Christ. Currently, Catholics do not oppose Christ and they are losing ground and Church membership world wide. I think the new pope is going to turn this around- the losing ground part that is. People love this guy. He is seriously departing from the traditional beliefs of the Catholic church. Super moderate. Willing to baptize aliens. Says there is no hell. There will be some sort of problem created, and he will fix it. He will seduce with flattery, but the people who know their God will stand firm and take action. “At the time appointed he shall return and come into the south, but it shall not be this time as it was before. For ships of Kittim shall come against him, and he shall be afraid and withdraw, and shall turn back and be enraged and take action against the holy covenant. He shall turn back and pay attention to those who forsake the holy covenant. Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate. He shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action. And the wise among the people shall make many understand, though for some days they shall stumble by sword and flame, by captivity and plunder. When they stumble, they shall receive a little help. And many shall join themselves to them with flattery, and some of the wise shall stumble, so that they may be refined, purified, and made white, until the time of the end, for it still awaits the appointed time." Daniel 11:29-35 I certainly don't understand this chunk of text. It is one I have studied the least. But my current hypothesis is that this is about us and that this will happen before the rapture. This is not part of the 7 seals. Like you said, we don't know at which seal the AoD happens. I think this is because it happens before any of the seals are opened. In Ezekiel 8 and 9, abominations are exposed in the temple of God. Idol worship is taking place even though the worshipers appear to be worshiping Yahweh. After the abominations are exposed, THEN the men of God are sealed (ie the rapture)... all who groan at the abominations. Right now I think that those of us here, who are watching and trying to solve God's glorious puzzle, are the wise who will make many understand. We are the "wise" virgins. If we get to the point where we are able to understand the beast kingdom and understand the timeline of events, etc, then we can share these findings with the watching world and make many understand and be saved. It sounds like this may be pretty difficult but that God will help us. |

venge - Maybe its early and I havent had enough coffee OR (most likely) just me, but can you help clarify this statement a bit further?
I think in another thread you had provided support to the false prophet being the AC, one in the same. If the AC is not human and the false prophet is human how can they be one in the same? Or is the AC/FP an alien, a nephilim? Am I mis-understanding you?

I think you’re probably right. I have been using that word without a full understanding of it, which is foolish of me. I thought a reptilian was someone who allowed themselves to be possessed by demons, communicating with and worshiping satan, but I was reading more last night and it seems to have another connotation. Thank you for your warning. I will be more careful with my words in the future.
Edit: I DO believe that Nephilim half-breeds are biblical though.

A lot of this idea is explained in a book called The Unseen Realm. I have to begin by saying that I haven’t read it myself, but my mom read it and was so kind as to write up some “cliff notes” of the first few chapters and give me a book report. I hope to read it myself soon. The book is full of scripture... particularly those scriptures that we usually toss aside because they don’t fit into our worldview. Scriptures like the ones which say God holds meetings with the spirits of the world in Job and Psalms. Verses that mention “the prince of Persia”. Verses like Jesus preaching to the spirits in prison (1 Peter 3:19). It explains why God made the Israelites kill the women and children whenever they conquered a land... every single one of those passages says the Anakites (Amelekites? Going from memory here) or the Nephilim were in the land. The passages sometimes even mention that these beings had 6 fingers and 6 toes (more on that later). There has been a seed war since the beginning of time, and part of God’s plan in saving the world has been to protect His remnant from this seed... which is why He had them kill even the tiny babies when a land was conquered. So there is ample evidence in the Bible that our war against the spirits and principalities somehow transfers to the physical world at times, in ways I don’t fully understand. Extra-biblical evidence supports this as well. When you actually look into the claims of people who say they have been abducted by aliens, it supports the claims of the Bible. These people often report that aliens who had 6 fingers and 6 toes abducted them to have sex with them. Previously I have always written people like this off as crazy, but now I believe that they were actually having demonic encounters. There is also archeological evidence of creatures with 6 fingers/toes - many of them giants - although most of this evidence has been hidden. It has been awhile since I’ve looked at this, but I will try to find it. Will also share Mama’s cliff notes on The Unseen Realm. Edit: This book looks interesting. Question(s): When each seal has been opened, is that when that which has been sealed begins, or is it that, 'now it can be understood'? As John records in Revelation 6 each time a seal is opened, "And WHEN...I heard...". My understanding is that he, John, heard "it" after the seal was opened. Now in Daniel 12:4 it says, "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end," and again in verse 9, "And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end." To me this begs the question, when did the 'time of the end' begin, if people are discerning events in Rev. 6 as happening decades, even centuries, ago? When did the first seal get opened, or has it not been opened yet? If it has been opened, I would think the 'time of the end' had/has begun.
If I am way off base here, please let me know. This is just what has always been in my head.
Edit: I do believe we are in/near the end times, but has the "time" spoken of in Daniel begun and when?

venge - I flippantly said "aliens" earlier and should not have assumed others would know what I meant. I take things for granted at times since we have discussed these things earlier in the year and in other posts. So to clarify I am in the corner of there is no life outside this planet. Why? 2-3 reasons. 1 God gives no account of it in Genesis or elsewhere. Also we are created in God's image, no one else even the supposed aliens. 2 we are redeemed by God's ONLY Son. If there were other intelligent life forms they too would be subject to the requirements we are. A savior to bridge the gap between God and man. I realize that could be hard for some to accept. That is my personal revelation on the matter. Lastly I am also of the persuasion of witness1 when it comes aliens. They are deceivers, devil's in disguise. No more no less. But her post helps explain that a bit more
