So this present convergence is leading to more years of waiting according to Clarke. That doesn't get me excited. I guess I need an attitude adjustment, or simply hope Clarke is incorrect.

Scottie Clarke is posting on Facebook again. From what I can briefly ascertain, a date of Fall 2023 is being put forth. You ascertain more than me. I can't even find Renee Moses. She's pulling her videos out of my posts. It feels like people got wore out and are walking away from it. Then right when they least expect it, the Son of Man will come at an hour they do not expect. And the Script will be fulfilled. But i doubt it's in 2023. I googled around for it but i couldn't find what you were looking at. We might only have three weeks to go. Or the second Passover four weeks after that. Passover is a big enough of a deal that they made two of them. Whichever, He will come home on a day that is appointed. All this date setting madness, it's starting to bug even me. (if it were even possible) The goodman of the house. I bet in the third watch. Watch this: The rule of first usage states that to understand a certain word or doctrine, we should look to the first place in the Bible that the word or phrase was used. So that would point us to: Proverbs 7:19-20: A long Journey? A bag of money? And will come home at the day appointed? The appointed day? Passover was important enough of a feast that if one was unable to celebrate it as prescribed or commanded, either because of touching a dead body or being away on a LONG JOURNEY, a provision was made for a second Passover a month latter. On a day that is appointed. Do any of the other feasts have a deal like that? Numbers 9:9: Parables point to Passover. I learned this from a retired physician from Loma Linda. He is smart. Passover 2018 will begin in the evening of Friday, March 30 and ends in the evening of Saturday, April 7 The Second Passover-Pesach Sheni 2018 will begin in the evening of Saturday, April 28 and ends in the evening of Sunday, April 29 An appointed day, for One returning from a long journey?

I don't know when things will happen, but I like to think that if we have been told to be watchful, that it's not because things will happen so fast we won't see them coming.

And the Script will be fulfilled. I agree. I am as baffled as everyone else and am probably feeling the same as many others here. I keep thinking/praying: 1. Lord, did you alert me in August 2017 to make me wait for several more years? Sure, that could be the case, but it doesn't seem plausible with so many other Christians hearing the same as I have heard. 2. Lord, I've been telling so many to wake up, that the time is NOW, just as I feel that you've instructed me to do. Will you cause me to look like a fool? Wouldn't that be counter-productive if you sought to draw them near to yourself? Did I hear wrong? Did I imagine it? Have I spoken out of order? 3. Lord, people seem to be falling back asleep, but you continue to tell me to watch, so I will watch. The date setting doesn't bother me one bit. It's a fascinating process and our God is watching it all, most likely finding it whimsical and precious, just as we would watching a 3 year old anticipating and counting down the days to Christmas. Are we not as children to Him? We know so little. I can only speak for myself, but He hasn't told me to stop watching. He hasn't told me to quit warning. Quite the opposite! Don't give up folks. Don't go back to sleep! ALL the signs point to His nearness. I think the #1 sign is the convergence of signs, but the single most important specific sign is the state of the State of Israel. Matthew 24:32 - 35 32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. The context here is completely encompassing the end times events from before the rapture through to the second coming. I have always believed that a generation is 70 years. I have been watching and waiting for 40 years for this day, understanding that 2018 was the 70th year, and it's finally here! This is my parent's generation, born in 1945, they are 73, both still living. My mother said to me the other day: "Yes, but which generation?" I said: "YOUR GENERATION, MOM...IT'S YOUR GENERATION!". I believe that with all my heart. 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.So it is a day, and I personally believe it's a day that no one is looking at. Most likely every "high watch" day will be wrong and it will be a day that few, if any, are looking at. It will not be ON Passover. LOL, the entire Christian world is watching Passover now. Thieves don't break in when the lights are on and the family is awake. No, it will be a sleepy day, a day you would not expect.
Stay alert. The Thief is coming.

thank you for the encouraging words fitz, I need them sometimes! Getting weary. I know he'll come just starting to feel like it wont be in my lifetime. I'm ok with that but I fear for the children, the generation(s) behind us. Maranatha

I agree with fitz --- it seems the more people who proclaim far and wide --- this is the DAY! Pretty much guarantees that is the ONE day IT will NOT happen on..... I too feel the Rev.12 Sign of Sept. 2017 -- was a SIGN -- that -- it is darn close...... (and I do not think 2023 as being darn close)...... So I am expecting (hoping) that any day now there will be a great SHOUT and this earthly life and troubles will disappear......

Stay alert. The Thief is coming.I have pondered and prayed the same thing! As for the day, I've said before that it would be on an obscure Tuesday in February, though that was meant tongue-in-cheek, but at the same time, not, you know? A day when everyone least expects it, but for those of us watching, we will be alert. "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Matt 24:27 We will know that it's not aliens or seagulls or whatever the media says it is. We will see and turn in to the light with arms raised and smiling faces, knowing that our Lord and Savior is finally here!

Nothing deep and weighty to add, just a personal remembrance. When I was about 12 years old we were living on a Ranger Station in Montana. Once a summer my grandparents from Arizona would drive up and spend a few days with us. How I looked forward to that visit! I remember climbing a tall fir tree in the woods near the highway and just watching for that big copper colored Plymouth Fury to come around the corner. When it finally did, I scrambled down that tree as fast as I could and ran home hollering that they were here! I don't know what my grandparents thought of being greeted by three ragged young wild boys -one with pitch in his hair and on his hands. I think they must have felt very welcomed and wanted. At least they came back every year that we lived there.
Another memory: years later my family and I went to visit some friends. We had called ahead and asked if we could stop by. When we showed up, the wife said hello and then started on out the door on her way to play bingo! Her husband was mortified and made her stay for the visit. Needless to say it was awkward and we were less inclined to cultivate that friendship after that.
I guess my point is that it is not so much pinning down the date of our Lord's return for us but rather our longing for it. I am sure that just as my grandparents gave each of us great big hug and overlooked the pitch and grass stains on our pants, so will our Lord make us feel welcome and loved.

fitz Thank you! Agree with all that you said! As far as "looking like a fool", I always think of Psalm 30:9-12 "What gain is there in my destruction? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness?" Then right after that he says "You turned my wailing into dancing!" "You clothed me with joy!". I truly believe that patient waiters will not be disappointed!

I looked forward to the Rev. 12 sign (Sept.23,2017) and really had no expectations past that....
Meaning, I was not really planning for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year.... I really thought we would be gone before any of those days arrived......
As those days arrived (and we celebrated them) -- it was almost with anticipation -- that this was the last year those days would be celebrated....
As they all have come and passed -- I still find myself not having an expectation for Summer months or any of the Summer holidays -- if we are still around, I am sure we will celebrate them and just proceed on .....
But part of me just keeps thinking soon it is all going to change.........

kjs, I've been the same way. My wife makes plans for this or that and I say in my head "if we're still here". I quit making plans a long time ago. My Dad just turned 90 last month and we had a very large get-together at his farm(75 people). It was great to see so much of my family, but at the same time I was thinking 'how many of them am I not going to see again, perhaps for a thousand years.'

I haven't given up on life, because we can't do that, but, I just feel like it's senseless to make any kind of long-range plans. I'm that convinced that we won't be here for much longer. I closed my business on 12/31/17 as after 5 years, the writing was on the wall, it was not going to survive. Then it took me two months to finish up the final orders and get moved out of the leased shop space. I desperately need a job, but I'm not too excited about getting one. Of course I sent out resumes and have had one interview so far. Praying Jesus comes before I have to accept an offer. It's surreal. My wife is going to drive Rte. 66 with her father next week. She's flying to MI, then they are driving to Amarillo, TX to visit her little brother and she will be gone for two weeks.. When I drop her at the airport, I'm going to tell her "goodbye love, hope the next time I see you it will be in heaven...in a few days". Ha! She believes in Jesus, but she's not a watcher...thinks I've lost my mind because I keep telling her He is coming.

I have to admit, I struggled with some apathy and cynicism the last few months, but I think God is finally bringing me through (especially thanks to some good fellowship last night with some of the guys). I've been watching prophecy for ~20 years and very seriously for 10 and I've never seen anything as obvious and significant as the Rev 12 Sign. God controls the sky and the stars. It was no coincidence.
Last night we broke bread together and discussed what's next, marveling at how much has happened just since 1/1/18 and how all the dominoes are lined up. Imagine if you could go back in time to 10-15 years ago and tell watching Christians that in 2018 the U.S. President's face would be on one side of the half-shekel and the Third Temple would be on the other side—and rabbis across Israel would be calling him Cyrus. And on top of that, you tell them that you had recently witnessed Rev. 12:1-2a in the sky and that Russia, Iran, and Turkey were in the biblical boundaries of northern Israel.
I kid you not, as I prayed us out, the song that was playing in that restaurant was something with the lyrics: "hold on just a little bit longer..."
At this point my thinking is in line with Greg L. from A Little Strength. There are many, many, many signs loudly proclaiming that not only are we THE generation, but we are nearing the END of the waiting period. But the Rev 12 Sign was THE exit sign for the Church (and retrospectively will be a testimony to Israel when we're gone). An exit sign is not the destination itself, but is a warning that you are extremely close to your exit and you need to pay attention more than ever before.
I totally love and respect Scottie and Matt P. over at Daily Crow—both of whom are thinking 2023-2024 is the green light, but I just don't see it. I think it's this year. As always, I could be wrong, but one thing I know for sure—our reaction to these marvelous signs that God has given should not be apathy and "my master delayeth His coming." That would be the opposite intended effect.

I think part of the "issue" is when we read stories in the Bible (whether Creation, Flood, Exodus, Joshua, King David..., even up to Jesus and the disciples) they all describe events that have happened -- and the are simply summarizing those happen-ings.....
We get hints of the time being played out in the stories --- like Sarah giving Abraham Hagar to get "the son"..... but for the most part (me especially) read the summations and condense it down into a "now" timeline.....
So when I read that God promised Abraham a son .... I read it AS IF -- a few days later Sarah announced she is pregnant and then nine months later Isaac was running around the house..... Intellectually, I know some time had to have pass (because of the Hagar portion of the story) .... but emotionally, I still read these summations as Boom, Boom, Boom .... everything happening in neat little order......
So when I saw the Sign this past September .... I was like ok, here we go first Boom .... the next Boom is just about to happen.....
(with the Booms .... naturally the next stepping stone within the story)
Then again, it could be because we have become a "just in time" society .... we no longer worry about Long Trips ..... cause we simply board a plane and we are there......
So it could be we are just impatient..........
