Me too! And I had the privilege of hearing Nabeel Quereshi in person! What brilliant men of God! I took my friend with whom I've been sharing the Gospel as well. She was impressed with his message, and Nabeel's death had a profound impact on her. I am thankful for these men like Ravi, Nabeel, and Amir who have such a large sphere of influence!

Hey all, I have been on a mission to seek out the history of what I describe as the Ultimate Restoration of God's Kingdom by searching archives. This has been very daunting. It involves reading very very old english writing. You think it is difficult to read Revelation? Try reading a sentence that is 5 lines long with 6 commas, using words that have left Webster because they are so old..
My point is there is a real battle with the Christian-based churches over this for since well, since Paul. I will make that claim tho can not prove that. The one thing I can remind those who have strong traditional views that are counter to this thread, keep in mind the bond-servant Paul.
Paul was killing Christians. Paul was a Jew! Why of all people, and he was prominent in his day, did he have such a miraculous conversion? Because he saw the Glory, he saw it!!! He saw what Jesus did for what it was spiritually to start the restoring. He had a profound understanding such that he was willing to die for it, because flesh didnt matter.. Ok, so it sounds like any modern day person who is enlightened...he had an insight that completely changed his preconceived notion of God, enough to lay aside all that he practiced as a jew. Look how many believers in his day still wanted to do things of the law, even though they believed? He was on a mission to change their minds, if you will, of the physical things that were required to atone. A complete and utter surrender of self and walk in the Faith. He had hope for things not seen because he saw it! He had confidence and steadfast knowledge that it is by FAITH in things not seen, faith in Jesus' purpose that set one apart from walking a path of destruction. Any one can believe, but does one have FAITH! Faith in it all that God is in control! Paul has me convinced that there is more to just "getting to heaven". Can not wait for this Romans study coming up here at home...
But my point is that SK is not a lone wolf howling in the wilderness. And, I am not in the position to answer Mike, but I think some of us have been learning much here and see this is not distorting the gospel message. But is challenging and getting some of us super deep in His Word. Deeper and on a very personal level. And this to me is what Jesus wanted all along. Each one of us, personally. Each one being met by Him right where we are at in our life.

mike, just so I am clear, what is the false teaching? is it this comment by SK: The supposed "false teaching" is mostly what I wrote although there are other verses that support this viewpoint about Satan, his origin and fall from heaven. Is his fall about to happen soon and when Jesus said that he saw it he was looking/speaking to the future? Is it a dual prophecy of sorts. I don't think we can sure. Does that help?

It has come upon me to continue the dialog. The last pages of this thread concern the topic of satan and I am not going to address them at this time. That topic I have not yet evaluated.. Pretty much I was convinced of God's Plan to restore all things based on the Two Adams topic toward the first half of this long thread. Thru one man ALL have sinned, thru one man ALL are saved...he made the way for each one of us. But you only enter the Kingdom thru Him, Jesus. And, we are told by the apostles what that entails to be reconciled to Him and be glorified, and NOT be apart from Him and in darkness. Had I been standing next to Adam I would have witnessed to him not to eat that apple, but he did and we are where we are in our fleshly state, our glory is removed and we are naked and ashamed. Along comes Jesus our Saviour. He did something pretty miraculous. He died and then rose from the dead. Then he rose into the Kingdom of Heaven and was seated at the right hand of God... Why would God have waited 2000 years for this? Why not just the next day after Adam was gathering fig leaves did God just send Jesus then and get the Kingdom back? Clearly God had a plan and demonstrated it to where it had meaning, legal meaning, a covenant, where justice, mercy, and where grace would be true grace and faith be fully defined as the means to His whole Kingdom becoming what it was before the Apple event. God does not want robots worshiping him, so I was told by other Christians. This is a cheap statement to me now. We are to rule and reign with Christ and we are told who gets to enter that narrow gate...and we are told of the incredible power of God to overcome this thing called evil/darkness/unbelief in God, even so far as whole nations will be healed...With our English translated Bibles and endless theologies by man, it is no wonder that there is dissent among many concerning this Book, God's inspired WORD. Still if we pray and study His WORD, He will reveal to each one of us. And we have 2000 years of debate about who translated what and into what..and who has time to learn the old greek language anyways? So we rely on men, who relied on other men, and so on and so on...and like this thread, when it comes to deciding what the word 'eternity' is or the term 'forever and ever'...we dare not go against the "normal understanding of other men." I am not a fan of the word Universalism.. That to me mischaracterizes what was presented here. This thread is not about multiple ways to get to heaven. It is not about "being without excuse" meaning, that one can blame God for their misdeeds. If God is hardening or blinding a person to the truth, they are not going to be aware that God has chosen them for that purpose. This is the topic of Free Will and we may get there again if this thread revives itself. My heart wanted to know why there is this debate over the word Aion/Aionos. from SK: I spent a long time reading a very old copy of a copy of a book titled Restoration of All things by Jeremiah White. This man had credentials and faith as high as Mt Everest. His case for God restoring all brought forth many many scripture concerning the character of God, and also God's Fire for refining not destroying. It was a laborious read. I did not get thru all of it, but would say 85% of it. Not once did he mention the Ages topic like SK did. It may be in there. What I did not read was his section on the Love of God. This was actually the longest part of the book, but I was already convinced of this Love laid out here in this thread: Who is God?What I learned about this author White was he had studied Origen. Origen 185 AD (he lived within a generation and a half of the Disciples!)...if you google his name you get an account of who he is. Of all the scholars of old, this man should have the MOST credibility. From an excerpt from someone defending him: What I found in google search was this underlying problem of defining the Ages.. Here again I find this regarding the word Aion wikipedia: In this thread you will see an argument laid out by SK regarding our Enemies, Free Will, God's Love and Character, and God's Fire to name a few. Funny how there seems to be an endless amount of scripture referring to God and His use of Fire, and I am barely recalling any scripture where satan uses the power of Fire..because it is not a literal Fire as we know it. I have come to see it as a judgement by Him, a refinement by Him a way He presents Himself to us...I could go on.. But those coming to this thread now and jumping to this last page, I have this part about why, then, spread the Gospel message if all get there anyways... because you dont get there without Faith in Jesus! It is the same Gospel message of His Work on the Cross.. these verses and comments by SK: If one comes to consider the possibility that most (in case you can't completely buy the idea) or even all the souls will be His and the EVERY knee will be willingly bowing by the end of this AGE or the next one, then reading Revelation is so much more readable! By the way, in my searchings, I came across an interesting translation of the New Testament. I discovered from this greek literal translation version that Revelation 12 is written in third person...Revelation as I have understood it is written in 1st person from John's perspective...Will be starting a thread on that some time later...

Additional resources in regards to this topic. There is fruit and poison in everything a human produces. Please seek God in prayer and humbleness on any topic of question or uncertainty. It was mentioned that there is a small amount of people, groups, who believe in full restoration/reconciliation. From months of research I found that to not be very accurate. Those who believe this are some of the most heavily persecuted throughout history. Even the founding fathers of our country believed this and based our founding laws and freedoms on Gods non partial love for all. Look further and deeper into the killings of the Salem witch trials Look into what Abe Lincoln believed in and what was the entire basis of his drive to end slavery. Look into how many lives where lost and people hanged in the beginning of our country for opposing hell and damnation preachings and preachers. There were rallies of many thousands against this sort of teaching entering into the states. You may find yourself very very surprised. This seems to be a topic that brings on rampant and swift persecution or worse over the ages. Because it is heresy or crazy? Maybe that should be a clue to something. The full goodness of God can be very offensive to many. It was extremely offensive to many in the bible. Jonah was a good example. 1But it greatly displeased Jonah and he became angry. 2He prayed to the LORD and said, “Please LORD, was not this what I said while I was still in my own country? Therefore in order to forestall this I fled to Tarshish, for I knew that You are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, and one who relents concerning calamity. 3“Therefore now, O LORD, please take my life from me, for death is better to me than life.” 4The LORD said, “Do you have good reason to be angry?”Not everything in all of these resources may be good fruit, there are bad apples everywhere. Please use discernment, scripture, and prayer for accuracy. This goes for anything taught and read anywhere. Your last link seems to be pointing to an unfounded page -- can you check into it?
Thanks for sharing these links.
I miss SK and wish he had not left.
This past year I have been moving in the direction of this view point.... the primary motivation seems to be
"there is nothing special about me" I am a sinner through and through -- and even at my best I end of failing again and again....
So if God can save me ... why can He not save someone else?
It is still requiring much Learning (and UN-Learning)... but it is definitely worth studying ..........

Amen! God is great, His plans are great. We are called to understand His plan and walk in faith (God is Sovereign, He will do what He says He will do!) but it is our own idols that blind us from the truth. I say that in the most loving way, I am no better than anyone. We are the ones who always try to exalt ourselves over God with our own knowledge and doctrines, in God's time, light will soon flood this whole earth and every knee will bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus is in fact who HE claims to be!!!
