As it turns out the time of greatest conjunction was at 1:03 eastern last night. I am in a hotel this week and so the sounds of the night are new. At 11:40 central I decided I might as well stay up another half hour so that I would be awake at the time of the greatest conjunction. Well around midnight, I started hearing a low whine which kept getting louder and louder and so I went to the window and peeked out. The noise kept getting louder and started to reverberate a bit. So there I am standing in my underwear, trying to decided if I should get dressed, go outside, stay where I am. I mean, we really don't have a lot of detail as to what the trump will sound like and what, if anything, we should do when it happens. Eventually, I realized that the laundry had kicked on two floors below me. I went to bed a bit underwhelmed! I know of people being overwhelmed, and people being underwhelmed, but no one is ever just ' whelmed'... |

I laughed out loud when I read this post and mike 's follow up answer. My husband was wondering what was so funny. It really shows the differences between different personalities. Yardstick (notice I didn't tag him)- likes organization and order and doesn't care for the redundancy of double tagging. He has improved greatly in his conversing and tone since he first started on the boards and I always look forward to his comments. I don't know if he is trying to be particularly funny but I do find underlying humor in posts like this one that I quoted. mike has great things to say. You can mess mike up with Miketaft, but you can't mess Yardstick up with Metrestick. Although if Yardstick lived in Canada, it would be incorrect to use the name Yardstick and so he would have a different name. Anyways, I am just trying to point out that I like mike 's peacekeeping and his tinfoil hat wasn't too shabby either. Thanks for the laugh this morning, guys, even if you didn't intend on it being funny. The double notification for mike was intentional humor. You can't mess Yardstick up with Meterstick. A Yardsick is 36 inches. Who ever heard of a Meterstick that was .9144 meters or a Yardstick that was 39.3701 inches? If I was in Canada, my name would have to be Canadian Yardstick. Of course, you realize that with all your taggings in your post, and me quoting it, mike is going to get like... 8 tags on the same post, right? Plus the tags from your original? and your quote of my tag?   |

I am in stitches here, but I'd like to pull us out of the gopher hole and say how blown away I was about gkp' assessment of a court battle in heaven. I am sharing with my mom @bsg-mom about this thread and the court room battle comment. She immediately recalled the Book of Jeremiah. Jer 32:6 onward. The characters are Hanamel, who is technically jeremiah's cousin, sent by his uncle Shallum. Its in regards to land ownership.
verse 6: And Jeremiah said, “The word of the LORD came to me, saying, 7‘Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle is coming to you, saying, “Buy for yourself my field which is at Anathoth, for you have the right of redemption to buy it.”’ 8“Then Hanamel my uncle’s son came to me in the court of the guard according to the word of the LORD and said to me, ‘Buy my field, please, that is at Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for you have the right of possession and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.
9“I bought the field which was at Anathoth from Hanamel my uncle’s son, and I weighed out the silver for him, seventeen shekels of silver. 10“I signed and sealed the deed, and called in witnesses, and weighed out the silver on the scales. 11“Then I took the deeds of purchase, both the sealed copy containing the terms and conditions and the open copy; 12and I gave the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the sight of Hanamel my uncle’s son and in the sight of the witnesses who signed the deed of purchase, before all the Jews who were sitting in the court of the guard. 13“And I commanded Baruch in their presence, saying, 14‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, “Take these deeds, this sealed deed of purchase and this open deed, and put them in an earthenware jar, that they may last a long time.” 15‘For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, “Houses and fields and vineyards will again be bought in this land.”’
The point being that the LORD works in legal ways, by laws so to speak. So it would be fitting that He would deal with Satan in a court of law, even to the point of witnesses.. There also seems to be quite a bit of parallels in here that are just aching to be studied further...
Here is more of the passage:
16“After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, then I prayed to the LORD, saying, 17‘Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You, 18who shows lovingkindness to thousands, but repays the iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their children after them, O great and mighty God. The LORD of hosts is His name; 19great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, giving to everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds; 20who has set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, and even to this day both in Israel and among mankind; and You have made a name for Yourself, as at this day. 21‘You brought Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders, and with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with great terror; 22and gave them this land, which You swore to their forefathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey. 23‘They came in and took possession of it, but they did not obey Your voice or walk in Your law;
my bold emphasis' are because we have been so sign-central...oh there is much here I think, to support the patterns we see in Revelation, in regards to the Lord and his 'Laws'.. deeds, right of purchase...all legal terms...
(Mom says that she learned this jeremiah study via the Book of Ruth, the study of the Kinsman Redeemer)

gkp let me be a witness to confirm your observation.. God operates in covenants (legal documents), with Moses, Abraham, Noah... Jeremiah 32:22... "and gave them this land, which You swore to their forefathers to give them .." another legal term... Mom found this question proposed in a Precept study (you have a Kinsman Redeemer): "Could the sealed scroll described in Rev 5, the one taken from the hand of God by the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Lamb who had been slain, represent the title deed to the earth?"
if you look how the LORD instructed Jeremiah to tell Hanamel to take the deed of the land “Buy for yourself my field which is at Anathoth, for you have the right of redemption to buy it.” now verse 11“Then I took the deeds of purchase, both the sealed copy containing the terms and conditions and the open copy; 12and I gave the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the sight of Hanamel my uncle’s son ... Why not there be a legal battle? and is not the big deal today Psalm 83? Wanting to wipe out Israel from her land? parallels the Enemy wanting to wipe us out of heaven ? hence the legal battle in the heavens... Rev 12:10 “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.

(notice I restrained myself with regard to my new found power. Only sparingly I promise!) Also do you and your family raise Icelandics? I make custom spinning wheels for a living. Would enjoy talking about this via email or message if you are interested.

HAHA! ya, but a finding a pair of underwear "facing" a window might be a little odd for someone left behind, don't you think? I watched Paul's video from Revelationchapter12dotcom channel on yt. titled "The Tuesday Wedding" and one Jean Joubert made mention of Exodus 19:16 "And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled." Not a bad thing, is it, to think that maybe Moses would present us to the Father (v.17) before the wedding? |

The Parable of the Tortoise and the Hare. Here are some things to ponder. We have been offered some great insights regarding the Venus/Jupiter conjunction and so we have tried to understand what they mean. But some of the info seems to either not been reported or I missed it. Venus has entered Libra on the Tuesday schedule. But where is Jupiter? If a wedding was supposed to happen, the bride did not show up. I did a bit of sleuthing and found out what to most people might be obvious. Jupiter is farther from the sun than we are and thus appears to move slowly. Venus is closer to the sun than we are and appears to move quite quickly. From our viewpoint they are on the same plane and thus the tortoise and the hare comment. They can never move at the same speed across our field of view. Watching Jupiter move is like watching a glacier advance. and I (hopefully) will be able to attach a screen shot from TheLiveSky that says clearly that Jupiter is STILL in Virgo! It is doing exactly what it feels like we are doing here on earth -waiting around, teetering right on the very edge of a momentous event. Come on Jupiter -move on in! And if the bride is reluctant, then what did the conjunction represent? Why would our bridegroom come to the bride right at the last moment of her time in Virgo and then move away and into Libra? Did something significant transpire on the 13th between Jesus and His body? Any ideas out there? The truth is that the sun will only be in Libra for a limited time and Venus will move along too. mike I have watched his videos and greatly appreciate them. The last one I saw was a short one regarding the Tuesday wedding, But I don't recall him mentioning Jupiter's delay. There can't be a wedding unless the bride shows up. And I doubt that a wedding would occur while Jupiter is still in Virgo. Talk about a child bride! I will watch it again later today when I have a chance. Believe me, I am not faulting anyone and the info they offer. I believe we are a team working toward a deeper understanding of these great events,

mike Hopefully I am not abusing the @ sign 🤔 When I tackle one of Paul's videos using my tablet I can either watch or listen, but not both at the same time. The volume is so low that I have to put the tablet up to my ear and my peripheral vision isn't so great that I can see the screen. So I can miss details. Gotta work on that third eye thing! Also when I am straining to hear I close my eyes to help concentrate. And then I fall asleep. True confessions!
