gkp, I really doubt that the 12 disciples came from 12 different tribes. Remember the supposed 10 lost tribes of the northern country of Israel that were taken to Assyria back in the Old Testament and never actually returned? (Actually the lost tribes would be 9, not 10 like everyone thinks, since most of the Levites came back to Judah when Israel went after idols). I would thus expect most of the disciples were from Benjamin and Judah.

I agree with you Linda. It was only mentioned as something I had considered once and gave up on. Also you are likely right about most of the disciples belonging to the two tribes. What do you think about the stars of the woman's garland? By the way I was reading in E. Bullinger's book "The Witness of the Stars" and noticed his diagram of the camp arrangement of the tribes. It is like a square shape with three tribes on each side and constellations relate to each tribe. What really got my attention was that the Levites were located in the middle of the square and their constellation was Libra! It reminded me of Revelation 1:6 :
(Jesus) "has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
So Libra is the perfect place for Jesus to take His priests!

Hey yardstick - this post is for you! I have been meditating on a lot lately and feel I am seeing things of interest. Yet I hesitated to post because I have already said much more than I usually do. You asked if I could flesh these ideas out, and out of respect for you, I will try. What I have been trying to do is simply get a good idea of what is happening both in heaven and on earth. That sounds pretty ridiculous doesn't it! And yet I am a child of God who cares about His business and so in my small way will keep looking and watching. If these thoughts are off base, please help me see better.
Just about the time I think all the pieces of the puzzle are on the table, someone offers even more things to think about. I just heard about the January 6th conjunction of Jupiter and Mars. First thought was its just too far away to make a difference to me now. And yet loose ends are unsettling. So I dutifully did a day count and found out there are 55 days from the 12th of November till this next conjunction. So, 55 being a significant number, I believe it can't be put off as not relating to this grand drama in the heavens. But how to see it?
First of all, let me re-cap my main thought from previous posts. The conjunctions of Sept.19, Oct.5, and Nov.12 are within the time frame of the sign and represent the three most important events in human history. 1. Venus/Regulus. Jesus coming from heaven and taking on the form of a man, and presenting Himself first as the King of the Jews. 2.Venus/Mars. The climax of His purpose in being here- to die for the sins of people and rise from the dead, thus thwarting the plans of the devil and giving life to those who believe . 3. Venus/Jupiter.Jesus calling His people home to Himself at the Rapture. What then can a later Jupiter/Mars conjunction mean? I think the answer might be in Revelation 12.
It has been a challenge to make a distinction from what is depicted in the sky and when the focus turns back to earth. I used to feel that the border was likely between verse 5 and verse 6. But maybe there is a better bigger view. Verse 6 says the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God. Look back at my stage analogy. The spotlight of the sun is now focused on Libra. Mercury has passed through and is beyond the sign. Venus and Jupiter have just entered Libra. And Virgo is not the focus. The only actor left near her is Mars. and then war occurs in heaven. How the war plays out I can not say. How the fighting goes with Michael and his angels and the dragon and his angels we cannot know. But what if, as a final part of this battle, the final stage is in Libra - the court room. I think this heavenly battle is not a bloody battle anyway. I think it is a legal battle. Satan still has access to heaven and is still the accuser of the brethren. So now we have a huge court scene. Finally Jesus can present a vast number of new witnesses. And they will testify that they have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, not through force or fear but out of an agreement with God about our sin and need for a Saviour. Satan's lie that God is a tyrant and that the rebellion against Him is justified is shredded into nothing. We stand together as witnesses that we belong to Jesus and are so very very glad we do. Satan's "case" is thrown out and he and his minions are cast down to earth.
So the first three conjunctions pointed to things that have manifestations both on earth and in heaven. For instance when Jesus came to dwell among us, heaven was missing its king. So now, with the body of Christ removed from earth, satan directs much of his efforts toward the woman and this is seen in Mars still lurking near Virgo. And after the court scene in Libra, on earth Israel will feel the wrath of the dragon because he knows he has a short time. I need to continue to look at the last verses of the chapter but time is so short. I feel it is important to take it this far and see what you think. At least it is a way to see how the later conjunction between Mars and Jupiter could relate to all the rest.

Very interesting analogy gkp . I'm sitting on pins and needles today though. I know the sign isn't always connected to the event as we have learned, but I'm ready to go. Just waiting on the Father!

gkp very interested analysis, the stage view helps me compartmentalize what happened over the last few months and I like the idea of this as a courtroom deliberation. Hopefully the Almighty Judge soon drops the gavel! Side note - If you werent aware when tagging someone use the @ sign ahead of their name. For example you show yardstick in the post above but in order for it to show in his notification using the @ sign before a name will help the person know you are speaking to them. Otherwise a busy guy like yardstick may not see your post

For example, If you quoted me or if I was an active participant in the thread (lots of recent replies), you would not need to tag me. But if you didn't quote me and you wanted me to read something you think I would find relevant or interesting, you would. FWIW, if you quote someone and you tag them too, they get two notifications for the same post. Some might find this annoying, right mike?

Well 'Stick since i went AWOL for a couple days my head was thinking in that vain. "If Stick wasnt visiting the forum, and I want him to see this I should tag him" but it wasnt you who was MIA. I do agree there isnt a need when quoting someone to tag them also as there will be two notifications. However I dont mind if there are two.

I woke up this morning very frustrated. I talked with the Father before I got out of bed, but I was still frustrated. My wife asked what was wrong. "We're still here". Her reply was, "The day isn't over yet." Then I read of three big earthquakes when I got to work this morning. Wow! And maybe Abbas will sign the peace treaty today? heh! We wait. Even so, Come Lord Jesus!

Even so, Come Lord Jesus! I had precisely the same thought when I opened my eyes this morning. Then I thought, well at least I am up early enough to see the conjunction. Except here in So Cal, there was just enough clouds to cover it :/ I have to keep reminding myself that the signs aren't necessarily connected to the events, and I also have to remember that God has given us so many just since August 21st (but obviously so many more going back to the tetrads and further), that it cannot be coincidence. These are signs, He is saying something, and our redemption is drawing nigh. I want so badly to hear that about before I can press "create post," but we must continue in faith and know our redeemer is coming.

I laughed out loud when I read this post and mike 's follow up answer. My husband was wondering what was so funny. It really shows the differences between different personalities. Yardstick (notice I didn't tag him)- likes organization and order and doesn't care for the redundancy of double tagging. He has improved greatly in his conversing and tone since he first started on the boards and I always look forward to his comments. I don't know if he is trying to be particularly funny but I do find underlying humor in posts like this one that I quoted. mike has great things to say. You can mess mike up with Miketaft, but you can't mess Yardstick up with Metrestick. Although if Yardstick lived in Canada, it would be incorrect to use the name Yardstick and so he would have a different name. Anyways, I am just trying to point out that I like mike 's peacekeeping and his tinfoil hat wasn't too shabby either. Thanks for the laugh this morning, guys, even if you didn't intend on it being funny.

As it turns out the time of greatest conjunction was at 1:03 eastern last night. I am in a hotel this week and so the sounds of the night are new. At 11:40 central I decided I might as well stay up another half hour so that I would be awake at the time of the greatest conjunction.
Well around midnight, I started hearing a low whine which kept getting louder and louder and so I went to the window and peeked out. The noise kept getting louder and started to reverberate a bit. So there I am standing in my underwear, trying to decided if I should get dressed, go outside, stay where I am. I mean, we really don't have a lot of detail as to what the trump will sound like and what, if anything, we should do when it happens.
Eventually, I realized that the laundry had kicked on two floors below me. I went to bed a bit underwhelmed!

And then there are bumkins like me out there who just discovered that little "a" with the ring around it. Big breakthrough for me! I will try very hard not to abuse this new source of power.

A Yardsick is 36 inches. Who ever heard of a Meterstick that was .9144 meters or a Yardstick that was 39.3701 inches? If I was in Canada, my name would have to be Canadian Yardstick. Of course, you realize that with all your taggings in your post, and me quoting it, mike is going to get like... 8 tags on the same post, right? Plus the tags from your original? and your quote of my tag?
