LOL, I know, right? So short! I'm getting jealous of people like yardstick and mike who have been already "raptured". Yet here I sit, a guru, and no fair because I want to be raptured too! And I bet I have written way more many words than they have! So I need to make more, more, more short posts so I can get raptured! (To anyone who might be taking what I said seriously... sorry... and what you just read was not intended to be serious; but merely my best attempt at being funny. I know. Ha. *cough* Ha. *clears throat* I am so funny.) God Bless Brother! I love reading your posts! We definitely are like minded. And Me too 😜 No fair!!!! Why am I not also raptured??? Hmmmmmm. Oh well. Guess I will have to wait. I wonder will I get raptured here first, or to God's Throne first? I am hoping, the latter.

I don't really understand how you and me aren't even close yet. We all joined the discussion boards at roughly the same time and I never feel like they have posted more than us. I know! We need to start a thread for the two of us, where we stop posting all our paragraphs as one long post, but as numerous posts. My response could have counted for three posts in that thread! 😝

There are other threads where you might not have participated and we posted a lot. I can think of "Let's Find that Dragon" and the "God's Roadmap to the End discussion" threads, just to name a couple.

You post a word, then I'll post a word. Then you. Then me. Either that, or when we respond we will break our novella's down into one sentence at a time. Write a sentence and then stop and hit enter. Then you write a sentence, stop, hit enter. Then me. (This way, the rest of them here... they can't say that we are double posting! Also, they can't say we make long posts either! Heh, heh, heh!!! We will have them beat in no time at all! We will be the most raptured people here!!! We will even beat Enoch and they will find in some hidden caves somewhere historical extra-Biblical books written by *dum da da dummmmm drumroll********** written by us! Ha, ha, ha, ha, and evil laughing by us because we are so clever!!!Meh. Or... who cares and we can just wait for Jesus to come get ALL of us at once!

To be here and belong to Jesus is good enough. More than I could ever ask for or deserve, actually!

These dates all come and go. I get my hopes up and then start to get disappointed, then I remember to focus on Jesus and not a specific date.He will come get us hopefully sooner rather than later.

It's just a label assigned to how many posts you've made... Honestly, word count is probably a more precise method than post count for 'leveling up'...

I hear you. But then again, I look at it as a second chance to do more here and try to please our Father in Heaven through our Savior Jesus Christ. Opportunity to preach the gospel more, lead His people into worship more effectively, be more humble like a child (Matthew 18), love more etc. Honestly, stress or anxiety is no longer a thing for me ever since my renewed mind and relationship with Christ. Blessings

Sorrynotsorry- Don't base all your beleifs on just the rapture doctrine. Every other prophecy that was spoken in the bible has come to pass. It's 100% accurate, and no other book or religion has that record. Just because a date we set, which nobody really is here, doesn't mean God's Word is false. We ain't gonna last another 100 years anyways. Just look around at the world and read God's Word, He'll show you what's about to pass and what has already passed, and why.

I just did a post count check. yardstick you have surpassed the number of posts that I have made more than three times over! In fact, you have posted enough since your "Rapture" post that you have actually posted more than I have in my entirety on the boards in just that short period of time. There is no way to catch up. Lol I am not sour about it, because we all have different personalities, perspectives, and philosophies. tiffanybw has a penchant for protracted pleonasm and myself, well, I've personally comes to terms with that the preponderance of the board posters are more percipient and perceptive than I. As for the actual thread topic, I am personally praying for sooner than later. I spoke to my husband last night as we booked a Disneyland vacation for November (his and my kids insistence- I would rather spend the weekend at West Edmonton Mall and put the difference to buying new windows for our house). I have been trying to be excited about our trip but since I've "checked out" on my enjoyment of secular things, it has been hard. Our conversation last night was about trip insurance. I had intended to book it with my cousin's wife, as she booked our trip, but she lives in a different province and was unable to do so. I was asking him about what to get and he said "the full coverage because you don't know what's going to happen.". We don't talk about the rapture or anything to do with faith, so for him to start talking about the possibilities of disaster prior to our trip or during our trip took me aback. He actually mentioned earthquake, fire, nuclear attack, mass shooting and plane crash in the same sentence. So my take on this is that those family members around us, who are not really willing to look around and see what is happening aren't unaware of what is happening; they are just trying, in their own way, to cope with what is going on around them. And for men, that requires them to be the captain, to go down with their ship if necessary, to make sure that there family is provided for and taken care of. My husband is busy trying to hold peace and our financials stable as he is currently having to campaign for his job in local government. If he isn't reelected, we will face struggles. From that little conversation, I inferred alot. My husband doesn't want to stress me out talking about what is going on. He also has noticed a lot more than he is willing to talk about. But yet he carries on, for the sake of the crew, to keep calm in the midst of the impending storm, because the storm is out of our control. There isn't anything we can do to stop it.

sorrynotsorry ...just to be clear, you dont believe that Jesus, the Son of God came to earth, was crucified, shed His blood, died, was buried and rose from the dead? Just want to get that out of the way... EDIT - I think I answered my own question with your quote belowNot playing the fear game here but what makes you so sure of this?^^^ None of us are promised tomorrow, right? I for one doubt I'll make that year, possible but I doubt it. Whether the Lord tarries until we all download our conscience into robots or comes in the year 35,000 when all the convergence happens again is somewhat irrelevant isn't it? You see youre right that we (most here on this forum and Christians in general) believe the bible is the absolute word of God, but from what I garner, you do not. Is that correct? I would ask you what you establish your world views on? What is the basis of your faith? Everyone has faith in something don't they? You express it here: Are you just a regular old mom, or a good mom? How do you measure what a good mom is? I have a standard, galen may have a standard, you may also have one. Who sets that standard? Are you just a wife or faithful wife? What makes a faithful spouse, how does one define that? Are you certain your husband isnt running around with other women or men for that matter? How do you know? Do you have trust/faith that's not happening? Last question and I certainly dont mean to insult you with the above, just want to know what you think (aside from thinking Jesus wont return) how do you view evil and good? Do you believe the world has evil in it or is everyone good to some degree or another? Just trying to gain understanding of where you are coming from. Thanks

Galen, this was very well written and logically thought out. I’ve heard a ton of watcher videos and the more sinister (to me) prophetic dream videos on various YouTube videos about Sep 23, Sep 30, Oct 5, Oct 13, Oct 21, Oct 31, Dec 21 and Dec 25 rapture dates. Once those all pass, I predict people will jump on the May 2018 bandwagon, and then after that they’ll wait for the 2018 feast days. After that, 2021, 2024, 2028, and last but not least 2068. I’m just curious, and please take this very hypothetically because I know that you guys believe very, very much that the Bible is God’s word and that you have the correct religion and that the rapture is going to happen soon (2000 years and counting)....*but*.....HYPOTHETICALLY if nothing at all has happened (no antichrist, no rapture, no tribulation, no stars falling to earth) by your worst case scenario date 2068, what does that mean to you? What would it mean to the Christian religion? Im young enough that I will probably live to see 2068 and I spend a lot of time wondering what it will mean for Christianity once that date passes. I know most visitors to this board are totally 100% sure that rapture will happen by then, but I’m not asking if you’re sure (I know you’re very sure, just like I’m very sure that we won’t be raptured...so clearly being sure does equal being right. One of us is wrong) Also in case you’re wondering no, I’m not some minion of Satan here to spread lies, I’m just a mom, a scientist, a wife, and a graduate of a private Christian school that went to Sunday school every Sunday of my life. I know the Bible very well, although so does Satan right my point is I’m not here to throw a wrench in your game, I’m just curious as a non Christian what Christians will do if 2068 passes quietly. Last time I asked a question like this I got the standard “save yourself don’t end up in hell” response and that’s really not what I’m looking for here. One thing Christians don’t seem to understand about nonchristians is that threatening them will hell doesn’t work. It’s like if I threatened you with the Islamic version of hell, you just wouldn’t care because you don’t believe in it. Anyways that’s a side note, I’d just like to keep the responses about what it would mean for Christianity if rapture doesn’t happen in next 50 years, not about hellfire. If "the Rapture" does not happen within the next 50 years, could mean two things (maybe more; but these are the 2 things that come to my mind immediately): 1. Our human interpretation of God's Word, is incorrect. And so no human person was "right" in their opinions of pre-Trib, mid-Trib, pre-Wrath, post-Trib, partial Rapture, or any one of a many different theories of men that exist on this earth. 2. It could mean that it is not time yet. All things work according to God's Will. The Rapture will not happen until God's Appointed Time.

Many times, but more importantly I have studied it. I know you don’t believe you’ll be around in 100 years, but that’s my point exactly. All it takes for someone to stop believing in Santa is to see that he doesn’t actually deliver presents on Christmas. What modern day Christians are doing is saying “Santa (Jesus) is coming to bring us our presents (rapture) before Christmas (2068) ....now once you’ve done this, if that date passes you have made it MUCH harder for Christianity to be credible. Once youve seen that Santa doesn’t come, you never go back to believing. So I wonder what that would do to a religion? The early christians (yep 2000 yrs ago) thought Jesus was coming back any day. What happened when He didn't? Oh Christianity continued to spread and grow. How about the alleged rapture dates contained here most notably John Wesley in 1836. Christianity disperse after that?
