Awesome thread. I have noticed that although the world seems to be groaning with all the natural disasters, for the most part everyone is still carrying on like normal. Also has anyone else been getting more weary lately? Sometimes its a fight to keep the focus on Jesus, but when I do keep the focus I am happier even if my day goes off track. Sorry if this rambling I woke up 8 times in 7 hours last night, but Praise the Lord Yahweh gives rest to the weary. Psalm 4:8 "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety." Yes weary here as well. Sometimes because I know I am not understanding enough of what is going on versus scripture, clarity on some things in those regards, my walk with the Lord because it is newer, and the evil that is seething in this world. There is light of good and love still from the Lord, but it seems to be getting harder and harder to find. I struggle with having faith in Him and letting go. I worry about things and have many wrongs that I am trying to make right. Some of which actually just seem to be getting worse. I struggle with understanding what I am supposed to be doing and what He wants me to be doing...

Michigan is warm, 72 today. Normally this time of the year we are low 60's, high 50's for an average. Way to much green for this late in the year. It's not good. Went to the apple orchard and the apples are rotten from the weather. I am on high watch. At this point I don think I could help not be alert. Everything in my body is telling me to stay alert and that something is very close.

It was never my intent to belittle anyone, nor to be combative. I've been mistaken on many issues, and as I pray for wisdom and learn from others - (you all) I've had to revise and even throw out views I had held. Thanks yardstick for providing the clarity and explanations.
disciple4life you have spoken graciously to everyone, and it is something I greatly appreciate about you! You've not been combative or belittling. Quite the contrary.
@cage our forum is a place for all of us to share our theories, our knowledge, our ideas. Through discussion--sometimes with many different views from our members--we sharpen one another in our understanding of God's Word. Gentle disagreements among our members don't mean that we don't trust one or the other, or that we don't love one or the other. I am sorry you've been distressed. We have a fellowship here that is very close-knit. We love one another very much in Jesus' name. I just want to reassure you that discussion and gentle debate are not the same thing as disrespect, arrogance, mistrust. Discussion and gentle debate are the way we learn together.
I agree! Thank you guys for your post and I do not see or perceive any belittling or arrogance, at least not on my end. I am honestly really confused at some of the other responses and why and or how if it can even be called hostility even happened?!?! Each of us has our own personal walk with the Lord. We cannot expect everyone else to understand and relate to something that I or anyone else experienced by themselves. We also should not get upset if they do not understand, nor accuse anyone of being arrogant or belittling because they do not, and certainly ask them to repent for their wrong?!? Stop it with that, because that there my friend was out of line.

@cage Well I had a really awesome reply about 3/4 of the way finished to this thread... and it disappeared 🙃 So hopefully I can remember what I had for the most part. I do not remember who in the thread, but someone said that Silent knight searched for Gods heart, not his mind. You hit the nail on the head! I went back through and read through the referenced thread again and the responses, slowly, so I could really try and understand.
Thank you yardstick for the informative post on personality types. That is very eye opening and helpful for everyone. I really encourage you to take the test if you have not. You seem to have some specialty in this area of study?
I took the test and posted the results as yardstick did as well. I wasn't surprised by the results because I am very intimate with my personality type. I will explain more below and how it relates to this post and the outcome of some of the responses. But I would like to clear up one thing first.
My Jesus is their Jesus. We are all after the same one, just different parts of him sometimes, which neither makes it wrong or a bad thing. We have what we call the BRAINS in the group. They like facts, numbers, codes, and math. They love finding it in the Bible and figuring it out. Chuck Missler imho is probably king of this field of Bible study. Then there are the HEARTS of the group. We see the emotion in scripture, get emotional with certain scriptures (I certainly do, especially parts of the gospel and crucified descriptions), relate to the characters from one degree or another and what they were going though.
I am after the Lords heart. I daydream about the rapture and after falling on my face and worshipping and thanking Him, there is seriously nothing more I want to do in the whole world than to run straight to Him and give Him a hug 💕 I am so envious when I read parts of the Bible and he walked and talked among us. To be right there, right with Him, talking and seeing Him, that is where my heart is. Reading about Moses and God being tabernacled right beside them, just pure envy and wanting. How lucky they where to be within His presence and they didn't even realize it.
For clarification, I am not saying anyone here does not want that, but those of us that run more on our emotions instead of logic, we understand it better. Which is why you relate more to certain ones of us here better than others. It's the same as me looking at a calculus equation, which is honestly just a bunch of Mumbo jumbo to me because I do not understand it, my brain does not compute or work that way. I barely skidded my way through trigonometry which ended math for me in high school lol. Don't remember a bit of it either 😜
My husband is a BRAIN. There have been many disagreements on how he can at times lack empathy and emotions. To me it hurts, and he seems cold. But once we have a sit down and rationally talk, he really isn't, nor is not trying to be. He is actually very sensitive, but is very good at calculating his emotions and responses to them. It took me years to learn this. It also took him years to learn that I am the complete opposite and will never think like he does. I am actually very ADHD and run at 1000 miles per hour almost entirely on emotion. Through therapy and learning how to recognize when My emotions are getting the better of me, the number thing I can do is slow down and pause. Pausing has helped me so much. Especially reading and remembering there isn't tone in written responses.
I hope this was helpful. So glad you have found faith in the Lord ❤️

I noticed an uptick as well cwood85. Though I wouldnt categorize it as with disagreements or bickering, but as something else. PM me any time you want to vent about something. I welcome the conversation. The invitation is also made to others who wish to chat on the side. I welcome the conversation. Lately, I haven't felt much like there was something I could contribute on the boards, but maybe I might be a bit more useful in PMs. I am honestly not the best with words. Maybe a better one than disagreements or bickering? Really being genuine about this, because I know I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to writing and expressing myself

Before anyone says anything in defense or takes offense about the title, hear me out please.
These last few weeks after September 23rd, I have been noticing something a little sad and something I have been praying about, but I think we all need to do this together.
Some very amazing and insightful people have been leaving, without saying anything and maybe in offense... I have noticed a definite uptick in disagreements and bickering back and forth regarding scripture, opinions, whatever. Way more now than a month ago.
Don't let the enemy win, don't let him in here. Because he will push our pride and puff us up, let us take offense, and not act in love, and in all this, take the focus from Jesus and put it to ourselves, our feelings, our knowledge, our depiction of scripture, you get what I am saying.
I am not accusing anyone of anything at all. Just submitting my personal observation. We all sin, and are all guilty. My mouth and passion is my strength and weakness. Luckily I have a 6'2" husband who unfortunately is sometimes the muscle behind my mouth lol... 😜
We are in amazing times. We are witnessing things people dreamed and spent their whole lives longing for. We may not know the time or the date, but man o man every fiber inside me is still screaming that Jesus is so close! Look at the world, so much is happening so fast and furiously. Wait on Him, trust in Him, and talk to Him ☝️Let's pray for this group!

Amazon review. This little booklet was penned at the end of the 19th century, and ostensibly involves events mere years later. A work of political satire, it chastises the rise of socialism and populism, inferring their fictional rise here as disastrous and leading to chaos. It is of note here that this work, along with others by Lockwood, appear to prognosticate the current political climate of the United States and West at large- and for an apparent religious Catholic of his era, it is not altogether impossible that Lockwood- wittingly or unwittingly- tapped into some mystic forces. Regardless, it is an interesting little political story from its time and is reflective of some of the social ideologies and movements of the age. Another book by him is a journey by Baron trump. If you look at these two books closely it would seem that they predict the future in some parts. I decided to use the first book, 1900 the last president, to try and predict future events to determine what would need to still take place before the rapture. Although, I think my interpretation of Daniel 8 is very similar to current events. I plan on using the Illuminati card game and the Simpsons episodes next to try and give more evidence for my Daniel 8 prediction. My Daniel 8 Prediction is about half way into the video. I know it seems a bit childish, but this is just how these people in control operate They like connections in abstract art as well. And, it does say in scripture that God reveals these things unto children. Matthew 11:25 “At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.” If you want to read Lockwood. archive.org/details/barontrumpsmarve00lockarchive.org/details/1900orlastpresid00lockIn a Simpsons episode; Lisa Simpson takes over as President after Donald Trump. This would support the idea that the little horn will be a female. In Hebrew. the little horn means from a young woman. It would seem Hillary would be the best candidate, but she is not young. Although it does not mentioned in the KJV version what the age is for the little horn is. The little horn could be a woman still, I mean, why is it little? The last card to be played is the Anti-Christ in the Illuminati card game too. So if the interpretation is correct, then the next president will be female and will be the anti-Christ, and the rapture would be very close by then. Waaaaiit, pretty sure there is a lot of "he" when the anti christ is described in scripture, also the word prince is used as well... however if you have any scripture to back up your theory please list them. I would love to compare the details. Maybe something is being missed

I think some of these dreams are not so much prophetic, as they are real-time in the other dimension. That is to say, sometimes, we are actually embroiled in real spiritual warfare with the enemy NOW while we dream it. This is why I have had to learn to fight back IN my dream rather than fight to exit sleep. Fighting back without relying on the power of God is a no-go--you have to call out on the name of Jesus, or at least rely on God's power in one way or another, I think, to actively contribute to the fight. I could be off, but that's what I've found with my own dreams. Sometimes the enemy is sent packing before I can wake up. Other times it results in me waking up. Very awesome analysis!!! Yes, that is exactly how I felt in the dream, like I was fighting and at first, something way beyond my power and comprehension. The destruction and pain I saw in the first part was like nothing I have ever experienced. The people around me were absolutely terrified, but at the same time I got a sense that whatever had happened to the city I saw in ruins and on fire, had not just happened. It had been that way. Everyone was wide eyed and on high alert. I did not directly call out on Jesus, but I did rely on Him and stood by his cross. That I did yell at Satan, which is why he tried to destroy it, and then me. I jerked each time that gun fired and it was like it was in slow motion, waiting for the bullet to come out on the next shot. His face became more twisted after each fire and no bullet. He was enraged, I felt it in every bone in my body. But after the last shot and no bullet, he was terrified and defeated. Boy, I hope I am not in a real spiritual battle with Satan 😳

While I very much do not wish destruction on or to anyone. But I also do not think being in denial about what is going on is any good either. I am possibly thinking an earthquake. The pacific ring of fire is lighting up big time. USGS is not reporting earthquakes, especially in high risk areas such as Yellowstone and similar. The swarm is still happening there. Other agencies are reporting them. Through recent scientific research, they have also realized the magma chamber at Yellowstone can fill in 10 years or less. It was thought before it would take decades. If you pay attention to that area, the earthquakes are acting like a wave and push up to the caldera. I am no expert, just an observation I made.
