I seriously doubt it. I have seen videos of predictions of soon annihilation of the US, can't remember any sources which isn't a good thing, however there was one from 3 years ago which made four predictions in order. 1. 2 record breaking Hurricanes in the US. As this is just passed it lends credibility to the rest of the predictions. 2. Colossal earthquakes on each coast. 3. A tsunami on the east coast which reaches the Appalachians. 4. Something so terrible God would not reveal it. Not saying this is 100% certain but it's not the only video that predicts destruction of the US, many people seem to have had various visions and some see the Babylon of Revelation referring to contemporary America. But let's say nothing happens to destroy America. Most pro-Israel people will have gone and someone like Obama may be back in charge. I believe Trump will possibly go in the rapture and Pence definitely will, in the case of Trump still being around he'll be easy to impeach on trumped up charges (pun noticed). The only reason he's currently safe is that they're all more scared of having Pence in charge. Although I won't dismiss the chance that you're right, maybe America will experience a great revival from listening to the 144K and the two witnesses.

There also theses verses which I believe are used in conjunction with the idea of the "wings of the great eagle" in Revelation to indicate the remnant will flee to the mountains of Jordan (biblical Ammon, Edom, and Moab). These are actually about judgment coming on Moab/Edom but could support the Moab/Edom/Great wings of eagle theme:
Jer 48:40-42
For thus says the LORD:
“Behold, one shall fly like an eagle,
And spread his wings over Moab.
Kerioth is taken,
And the strongholds are surprised;
The mighty men’s hearts in Moab on that day shall be
Like the heart of a woman in birth pangs.
And Moab shall be destroyed as a people,
Because he exalted himself against the LORD.
Jer 49:20-22
Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD that He has taken against Edom,
And His purposes that He has proposed against the inhabitants of Teman:
Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out;
Surely He shall make their dwelling places desolate with them.

Who thinks the eagle is the US protecting Israel? Following is pure speculation on my part... but I just thought it and so here it is: Say that the USA is Babylon (don't know this for sure but I think we are). And then there is also Israel. Babylon has a remnant that is faithful to God, saved by Jesus Christ (male child). We are the Gentile Remnant that belongs to God, we are the True Church (not the apostate brick and mortar we see most everywhere in the world because that is comparable to Synagogue of Satan. We are Christ's Body. (Represented by Babylon but this includes all Gentiles the entire world over who believe Jesus is The Only Way, and their Lord and Savior. Israel. She also has a Faithful Remnant. And then, she also has in her "The Synagogue of Satan" (those who belong to this world, to Satan). We all know that God is going to completely decimate Babylon. And He is telling us who follow Him to "come out of her my people". I don't know "how", I myself, or just my family, would "come out" from Babylon (the US) without God's Divine Intervention. And so maybe when Revelation 12:5 happens and we are caught up, just that we and Jesus are "the wings of the eagle". And we go and get our mother, Israel, the faithful remnant of Israel, the 144,000 maybe (  ). And we fly her to her place of safety. Maybe that will be The Mount of Olives that Jesus will split and make the valley in the middle (Zechariah 14 I think?). But anyways, maybe we will fly our mother to her safe place where she will be nourished when we are harpazo'ed and drop her off there on our way to Heaven? That way, Israel's remnant is safe. And the Gentile remnant is safe. And all that is left in both Israel and in Babylon (USA) are people who do not believe. They still can get saved. But they stuck there for the duration and if one lives in the USA (Babylon), things aren't looking good according to Revelation 17, 18 and Jeremiah 51. ?? Remember when Jesus told the disciples that after this occurred they needed to leave immediately. Hi linda! Yes, I agree with you. I think that they will not go to their safe place until after the abomination of desolation. And so to believe that things would happen the way I hypothesized above... it would mean that the Rapture does not happen until later, until I guess sometime between now and the start of the 2nd part of Tribulation (latter 3 1/2 years). I don't believe wholeheartedly myself what I wrote. It was just something I thought, something that crossed my mind. I honestly don't know when exactly we will be caught up (only that I can't wait till we are)! I used to insist upon it being pre-Tribulation. Now, I'm open to all speculation/theories on the subject. Because the only thing I know for sure, is that it will happen exactly as the Bible says.  It could be that Revelation 12; that the entire chapter is a "summary" so to say, from the Sign appearing in the sky up through the first 3 1/2 years of Tribulation and leaves off after that first 3 1/2 years, and after the woman (Israel) has reached her place of safety. And then verse 17 being the ushering in of the second 3 1/2 years, and when the dragon (Satan) will go off to make war with the remnant of her seed. If so, it would be like... presently verse 1 and 2 have been fulfilled already (on September 23, 2017). And so next thing that would happen would be the dragon appearing (verse 3). Next verse 4 and the dragon casting 1/3 of the stars (fallen angels) to earth and trying to devour us. Then verse 5 and we are caught up! Then we will celebrate before getting back down to business and FIGHTING the dragon (Satan). We will be Christ's Body, glorified and perfected with no more sin and we aren't going to be lounging on clouds eating bon bons while God and Satan are at war. We will be BATTLING with Jesus (being that we are His Body) and for God! So after celebrating, all of us would then go together with Jesus as our birth has been completed and we have been caught up and are now His Perfect and Glorified Body... we go to prepare the woman's (Israel, our mom lol) place for her and to FIGHT for her so that Satan will not capture her! Then, keep reading Revelation 12 and things would happen in order all the way to verse 14 in which Israel is given the wings of a great eagle (would be so cool if it were Jesus and us)! And then to fly her into her place in the wilderness that God prepared for her. And then all the way to the end of the chapter. I'm most likely wrong. I have a very active imagination though! I can't wait to see how things actually turn out! As God's Way, Will Be the best way! |

Well Tiffany, after reading your dissertations,  I will just say this--I agree with you on several things beginning with "It will happen exactly as the Bible says" and "God's Way will be the best way!" Another thing I must say is, that like you, I'm open to revising all my scheme-structures if the Bible and how the prophecy plays out, warrants it. I'm increasingly of the opinion that God gave us these prophesies, and WILL fulfill them, BUT. . . He seems to have reserved for Himself multiple pathways for how exactly He does it. Or at least He has hidden the pathways from us to this day, though revealing more and more all the time. I hope within the next 24 hours we'll know more. |

Well Tiffany, after reading your dissertations, I will just say this--I agree with you on several things beginning with "It will happen exactly as the Bible says" and "God's Way will be the best way!" Another thing I must say is, that like you, I'm open to revising all my scheme-structures if the Bible and how the prophecy plays out, warrants it. I'm increasingly of the opinion that God gave us these prophesies, and WILL fulfill them, BUT. . . He seems to have reserved for Himself multiple pathways for how exactly He does it. Or at least He has hidden the pathways from us to this day, though revealing more and more all the time. I hope within the next 24 hours we'll know more. I have a feeling that He has hidden the pathways from us because He doesn't want Satan to know everything beforehand. |

He will fight and keep Satan and his fallen ones from disturbing our HUGE CELEBRATION as we (now glorified and just like Jesus), then Jesus, and also our Daddy, Yahweh God; as we re-unite and meet each other for the first time with us normally filthy and dirty humans... just that we now can actually look upon His Face all because of what Jesus did for us! It will be so amazing!!!
But Michael, he will be fighting the dragon (satan) while we celebrate! He is willing to sacrifice this for us because he knows that this has been a LONG TIME coming! Not only will he fight, he will WIN!!! And Satan will be cast permanently, for the rest of eternity and never to be allowed back in, from Heaven! Only... the fallen angels that chose to follow Satan way back when... just that they have spent who knows how many thousands of years REGRETTING that decision. They have begged and pleaded for God to change His Mind to let them stay and they promise they won't do it again and they say to God... but Yahweh... you made a way for the humans! So why not us? And God will say something like... Because these fallen humans, they never knew Me like you all knew me. They, for the most part, were always fallen; because of Satan and how he deceived Adam and Eve. And y'all... you knew this... and then you STILL chose to follow Satan. The humans, they never were with me up close and personal like all of you guys were. They didn't know me like you my Angel's know me. And all of you KNEW exactly what you were doing when you chose to follow Satan. You knew it was DETESTABLE to me and yet you did it anyway. You completely destroyed the earth, and you completely corrupted my children (humans). You not only allowed... but you encouraged my children (humans) to look upon y'all as Gods instead of looking upon Me their ONLY Father! You encouraged them to worship you instead of worshipping Me. I found a passage in Isaiah that may give more insight to the "great eagle" and how it relates to the "pillars of clouds by day and fire by night" (as seen through previous supplied verses), AND why Petra, Jordan is the place believed to be where the remnant of Israelites will flee.
Isaiah 16:1-7
Send the lamb to the ruler of the land,
From Sela to the wilderness, (Sela = Petra)
To the mount of the daughter of Zion.
For it shall be as a wandering bird thrown out of the nest;
So shall be the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.
“Take counsel, execute judgment;
Make your shadow like the night in the middle of the day;
Hide the outcasts,
Do not betray him who escapes.
Let My outcasts dwell with you, O Moab;
Be a shelter to them from the face of the spoiler.
For the extortioner is at an end,
Devastation ceases,
The oppressors are consumed out of the land.
In mercy the throne will be established;
And One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David,
Judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness.”
We have heard of the pride of Moab—
He is very proud—
Of his haughtiness and his pride and his wrath;
But his lies shall not be so.
Therefore Moab shall wail for Moab;
Everyone shall wail.
For the foundations of Kir Hareseth you shall mourn;
Surely they are stricken.
Something else I've been considering for a while—it seems the judgment on Moab/Edom/Amman occurs when the remnant flees to their land. I've been contemplating the possibility and searching scripture for confirmation or otherwise that Jesus comes down at the mid-point of the Trib and causes the Mt of Olives to split (Zech 14) and the earth to swallow the "flood spewed from the serpent's mouth" (Rev 12) at the time the remnant flees Jerusalem. We've seen in the Exodus scriptures that the Lord was said to BE in the pillars of cloud and fire that led and protected the Israelites as they fled into the wilderness then, and that was likened to the Lord "carrying them on eagles' wings". So, this would be like Jesus coming down but not to claim His throne yet but rather to protect His remnant, and He may not appear as Jesus, the man, but rather like the pillars. He would then begin judgment on Moab/Edom/Amman as He leads the remnant to their hiding place. I've always wondered at this passage and maybe this explains it:
Isaiah 63:1-4
Who is this who comes from Edom,
With dyed garments from Bozrah,
This One who is glorious in His apparel,
Traveling in the greatness of His strength?—
“I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
Why is Your apparel red,
And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?
“I have trodden the winepress alone,
And from the peoples no one was with Me.
For I have trodden them in My anger,
And trampled them in My fury;
Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments,
And I have stained all My robes.
For the day of vengeance is in My heart,
And the year of My redeemed has come.
Why is Jesus coming from Edom if the Great Winepress is solely at Armageddon? Could it be that it takes more than one day? Why the phrase "year of My redeemed"? Usually the end judgment is called "the day of the Lord" and it seems to refer to the whole period or just the period when Jesus is bringing final judgment (like the Great Winepress/great sacrifice/supper/Battle of Armageddon).
But back in Isaiah 16 at the end of the chapter we have something interesting:
Isaiah 16:12-14
And it shall come to pass,
When it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place,
That he will come to his sanctuary to pray;
But he will not prevail.
This is the word which the LORD has spoken concerning Moab since that time.
But now the LORD has spoken, saying, “Within three years, as the years of a hired man, the glory of Moab will be despised with all that great multitude, and the remnant will be very small and feeble.”
Sorry that I seem to have hijacked this thread. I just have so many thoughts and questions that I need to work out! The traditional timeline of Jesus' return at the Battle of Armegeddon just doesn't make sense to me based on other verses that need reconciling. But, it's just speculation at this point.
