My recent post, The Gospel In The Stars, pinpoints what I believe are the most likely dates for Jesus' crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension, as well as Pentecost. I discovered that the stars were telling the story of the Gospel during the very time of Jesus' Passion. It appears that the planet Jupiter is Christ's "star" and it enters retrograde during significant events in the story of the redemption of mankind:
Jupiter, the "King Planet", circled around Regulus, the "King Star", during the time of Christ's conception and birth - all of this happening in the constellation Leo (The Lion).
During Christ's Passion, Jupiter enters the constellation Gemini and again undergoes retrograde motion. Gemini symbolizes the resurrection and God being forever reconciled to man through His Son.
Next, we see that Jupiter enters the womb of Virgo (The Virgin/Maiden/Woman), and is birthed from her womb after the exact length of a human pregnancy and after having undergone another retrograde motion - this alignment in the sky of course happening in the Fall of 2017. It is possible this alignment portrays the rapture - although we would be wary to set any exact dates.
Many watchers (myself included) are speculating on the possibility that the seven-year Tribulation will begin sometime this Fall and end in the Fall of 2024. I've written extensively on the many bits of evidence that to me seem to be pointing to this time-frame. Today I gave the theory a test-of-sorts: if Jesus is going to return in 2024 and the planet Jupiter in conjunction with other stars, planets, and constellations in times past clearly portrayed Jesus' birth, death, and the soon coming rapture, I should expect to find a clear demonstration of this same repeating pattern for Jesus' return - and sure enough, I did.
This discovery involves the constellation Taurus, which universally represents a bull charging into battle. "Taurus" is Latin for "the bull". Shor is the word for "bull" in Hebrew and its root word shur means to travel or journey to, return, come, arrive, behold, look, or watch (Strong's 7788 and 7789). Taurus is situated right next to Aries (Latin for "ram"), which represents a sacrificial ram or lamb.
On May 14, 2024, the planet Jupiter enters the constellation Taurus from the direction of Aries, passing over the boundary between the Pleiades and the first star of Taurus:
The Pleiades is mentioned by name in the Bible (Job 9:9, 38:31, Amos 5:8) and means the "Seven Sisters". It is a cluster of seven (visible) very bright stars and in Revelation 1:20 we are told that the seven stars are the angels or messengers of the churches. The picture we get then is that the sacrificial ram (or lamb) has now transitioned into a rampaging bull and He is returning with an army of saints. His congregation is with Him.
But there is even more to Pleiades involvement than I initially realized. Keep in mind that Revelation 1:20 has already equated the "seven stars" in Christ's hand to the seven angels. Also bear in mind that in Revelation 12, John points his readers' attention to the sky when he says "a great sign appeared in heaven". Let's fast forward to Revelation 15:1, which describes the very last months of the Great Tribulation:
I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues—last, because with them God’s wrath is completed.
John is describing what sounds like another astronomical event - a sign in the sky. Seven angels are about to pour out the vials of God's wrath upon the earth and on May 14, 2024, Israel's 76th birthday, Jupiter crosses into Taurus by passing the boundary demarcated by the seven visible stars of Pleiades.
A little over a week later, Jupiter and Venus enter into one of the closest conjunctions of the century - recalling to mind the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus in June of 2 BC that signaled the birth of Christ - the Star of Bethlehem. The Star of Bethlehem heralded Jesus' first appearance on earth and now this conjunction may be heralding the nearness of His second appearance. However, this time the conjunction occurs in the immediate vicinity of the Sun and looking upon the conjunction would be blinding - Christ is returning in radiant glory and majesty (Revelation 1:14-16, 2 Thess. 2:8, 1 Tim. 6:16).
Three months later, on August 14th, the 9th of Av, Jupiter enters conjunction with Mars (the God of War) between the horns of Taurus. Armageddon is at hand and Jesus has come to war against the armies arrayed against Him. He is about to "tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty" (Revelation 19:11-19).
After entering Taurus, Jupiter has traversed the constellation without stopping for exactly five months, but as the planet nears the end of the bull's horns, it stops on October 13, 2024 - the Day of Atonement (you typically add one or two days to the modern Jewish calendar date to get the correct biblical day based on the sighting of the new moon, which is why October 11th is not the correct day). Numbers 29:7-8 commands that one bull was to be sacrificed on this holy day and so the symbolism in this constellation is complete.
From the day Jupiter enters Taurus (May 14th) to the day Jupiter stops and enters retrograde (October 13th) is exactly 153 days (inclusive), which reminds one of the miraculous catch of 153 fish in John 21:11. The harvest of the earth is now complete, the Tribulation Saints are raised, and Israel is reconciled to God. All rule and authority has been given over to Christ and His saints.
To be absolutely crystal clear: this presentation is speculation and by no means "Thus saith the LORD". I think there is merit to it and it might indeed be the sign of Christ's Second Coming, but until the LORD speaks we can only make educated guesses. You might also be interested in learning what some of the individual stars in Taurus mean as they may be providing even further evidence of the constellation's connection to the Second Coming and one of our Facebook followers pointed out that the seven churches of Revelation (whose angels are the "seven stars" per Rev. 1:20) were all located in the country of Turkey, which is home to the Taurus mountains.
