Any ideas on this discussion? I watched the whole thing and it leaves me a bit disappointed on KHouse.

Hi stephan, I am working through it now, and have pulled up the Hebrew transliteration from PC Study Bible, and am 1/3 of the way through the video. I stopped at the 16:10 mark just to comment that I completely disagree with what the "expert" has just said regarding Genesis 1:14.....the Hebrew word for "divide" (Strong's 914 "badal") means just that, divide. It does not mean "govern" as the expert claims. Then, the verb "let them be" (Strong's 1961, "hayah") means just that, "to exist, to be". The objects are signs, seasons, days, years, and mean precisely that in turn, respectively....Ron Matsen then proceeds to state now that Gen 1:14 has been dealt with, he can move on to the next point.....
The problem that I see is that I believe his so-called expert, who comes across quite arrogantly, falls completely flat in his refutation.....I am returning to the video to watch the rest.... Blessings!

Besides the technical issues of this discussion I want to share another observation.
After watching the full length of this video I had to sort my thoughts and pray about. Like probably most of you, I watched several debunking videos, read many so called debunking articles and also checked the comment areas thereof.
My impression of this William Welty guy was and is that he comes in a very arrogant way. I felt absolutely no passion for Jesus and the Body of Christ in his words. It‘s all about doctrine and a supposed false teaching and his I-am-the-expert.
No love at all. Arrogance, bashing, lying, I-am-right-you-are-wrong-attitudes, you name it.
Virtually all debunking things are interspersed with that. Even when you read through the comment sections of those videos, you will also stumble over this.
This is my observation and leads me to the growing conviction, that we live in times, where even the believers are tested more and more and the love grows cold.
I have never (!) seen such attitudes here at Unsealed or from Scottie, Gary, Brad, and all cautious and faithful Rev 12 proponents (don‘t really like this classification) I know of.
This observed difference is ironically IMO the best sign, that the Rev 12 sign is genuine and has truly something to say.
Following scripture came to my mind:

stephan, I just finished the experts second point on Job 38, and again completely disagree with his conclusion, that "the passage indicates the study of astrology is forbidden" based on the verse....it is clear this guy has a preconceived bias that he is out to prove, and I think unless something else comes up in the video worth mentioning, this will be my last comment on him.....the point of the verse in the manner others have used it is that the Mazzaroth are named by God, and the Hebrews were clearly aware of them....so for him to claim the verse is forbidding their study, and to label it astrology is totally unconvincing.
I expect that we will see much more of this type of fallout in the coming days, Christians hurling insults at other Christians....mocking, labeling etc. Nevertheless, the celestial arrangements are still there, and maybe it is just not so clear as to what they may mean, so my mind is still open!
Time will tell if they mean anything or not...I have focused more on the birth than the labor, due to Micah 5:3
Shalom!

The conclusion proposed by Ron and his expert, is that it is pointless to look at signs in the heavens, which is forbidden astrology, and that we should "stick to the scriptures"....
So, here is a scripture from the Olivet Discourse: "There will signs in the sun, moon, and stars"......and another from Revelation 12: "I saw a great sign in Heaven"
A question for Ron might be, "What kinds of signs in the sun, moon, and stars was the Savior talking about in the Olivet Discourse?"

I guess in these guy's minds, signs in the Sun, moon, and stars are only valid once the trib starts??? These "experts" would be the same ones telling the magi to stay home. Why is that story included in scripture??? Arrogance and pride are going to be on full display....be prepared. Micah 5:3 fits with no other part of scripture that I know of, so this sign should not be ignored. Oh well, thankful that my eyes were opened....thx to sites like Umsealed. Bottom line....a sign from Revelation has appeared. He is at the door, IMO. Lance

Khouse is not what it once was.
The first thing out of Mr. Matson's mouth is a misrepresentation of the occurrence on 9/23. He misrepresents it as Rev 12:1-5, when it is only verse 1.
Verse 2 is the travailing of Israel. Expect something between 9/23 and 10/15.
Verses 3 and 4 are a completely different sign, and are not represented on 9/23.
Verse 5 is also not represented on 9/23. It occurs chronologically after. Most likely between 9/23 and the beginning of the travailing.

Difficult to watch, but now that he has gone on record as we too have.... We wait.... and see how this all unfolds... Basicly, he put us all in the camp of loony tunes..... very disappointing.

I could not even bring myself to watch the whole thing. I wonder what Chuck thought of that show?

His argument is self-defeating. He says we can't believe the magi saw converging planets because planets aren't stars. Then he goes on to say it must have been the Shekinah( which is also not a star but a fiery pillar).
