Mods Can you move this wherever you think is good? Thanks.
So I had biblehub open to Numbers 10 because I had been reading it and relating it to a reference in one of the other posts. I clicked past it a few minutes ago, and something struck me. It looks like parallelism or foreshadowing. You be the judge. Here is what I saw:
COMMENT: These look like rapture trump references!
COMMENT: This looks like the 24 Elders being called together prior to the seal judgements, as referenced in Revelation 4:4 and 5:8! Remember seeing those videos on youtube about trumpet sounds that no one could figure out where they were coming from?
COMMENT: Yep! Rosh Hashana applies!

Very interesting yardstick. I love the parallelism especially for the 24 elders

Very interesting yardstick . I love the parallelism especially for the 24 elders Yes, I saw that there was a difference between blowing both simultaneously, and blowing only one; and that when one was blown the elders were to assemble. Then I thought about the videos of people hearing strange trumpet calls, and it occurred to me that maybe the 24 elders were being summoned? Especially since they are already present in Revelation at the time of the breaking of the Seals. Could it be possible that the trumpets heard in the videos is the assigning of the 24 elder status to certain individuals, in anticipation of the Seals being opened?

That's exactly what I was thinking! I also remember watching one of those videos of the horn sounds and one of them was right here in Texas. This just seems to keep getting more exciting every day. Lord I love the bible!

I know I've watched at least 8-10 my self from different locations around the world. Never thought about how many there might be till now.

Just did a quick search and read a few articles, and the amount of trumpet sounds seems to be well over 24 different locations. I could be wrong cause I didn't count, but there's definitely a lot.

Where you looked, were the different locations also on different days? It could be the *same* trumpet being heard in multiple locations if they occur on the same day at the same time. I sure wish I could hear one of these trumpets...

1Thessalonians 4:16 refers to the trumpet as the "trumpet of God." I recall Paul Watson and Robert Breaker preaching on the trumpets and the various kinds. We have a few signs to watch for in the coming of Christ. The voice of the archangel, a shout, and the Lord Jesus will descend. I see that we will be in a company of others who were deceased, and risen. Either way, not sure which trump this is in revelation, we are His sheep and we will hear His voice.

They are present even before Christ enters. Therefore, it is unlikely they were raptured. They are there talking and then Christ appears in the midst as a slain lamb (his death on the cross and his journey from earth to heaven). If so, John saw this event in his time thru The spirit looking at the past and then to the future. The NIV correctly translates the “us” and “we” to “they” and “them” to identify the elders separating themselves from men in the promise. Just as the 4 beasts properly translated are 4 living creatures, they represent the 4 heads of Israel that protected the ark, north south east and west. Each tribe with its designation of man, lion, ox and eagle. So to does the 24 elders represent those who protect his church.
