We have discussed multiple times that the Feast of Trumpets, happens over a two day window. Where two witnesses must see the new moon over Jerusalem BEFORE the official start of the holiday.
Here is the deal – in this day and age – who makes the call?
Is there an official council that sends out people to do the witnessing?
OR
do the simply set aside two days on the calendar – and say these are the days and no one makes the call.
If the second scenario is most correct then Sep 21-22, 2017 Th F (Holidays begin at sundown on the evening before the date specified.)
What about God? Does He honor this as the true date for FOT this year?
