Blessings everyone
I was just wondering if anyone had seen The Sign documentary on AUDIENCE Network last night? If so, was it of a nature that it could be a useful tool for evangelism? Tell us your thoughts.

I've recorded it. Haven't watched it yet. I did see both Scottie Clarke and Pastor Paul Begley in the first 1 minute of the video though.

Someone noted it in the shout box today. Think they it downplayed the sign.

I just finished it, and it's not solely about the Rev. 12 Sign. I don't believe I heard the word rapture, harpazo or anything about the Church being taken to Heaven, I could be wrong though. It seemed to show people who believe in Bible prophecy as doomsdayers who hide out somewhere, hoping God zaps unbelievers. Scientists getting a chuckle out of "weird" religious beliefs people have, that they say has no basis in science. Scottie was in several segments but didn't get enough time, they just kept jumping around. I suspect they cut a lot of the actual Rev. 12 Sign material so they could get in a little bit of everything. As far as using it to share with others, I personally wouldn't. Using the material from the folks that use this site are already aware of would be better in my opinion. I've shared some of Scottie's mostly the big Part 1 &2 videos and Robert Breakers "No one Knows the Day or the Hour," and some things from UNSEALED. I think they're much better that this TV video. Hopefully others will comment as my personal opinion my be off, but that's where I'm at with it.

Watched this tonight and recorded it.
Honest, fair assessment? It was well done, very even-handed. As far as making a documentary, It gave a fair shake to all sides, and there was a great deal of plausibility inserted for all of them to make it view-able and palatable by anyone.
We have to know going in- no one in the biz is going to kow-tow to the Body. The best we can hope for is a modest representation. I think we got that via 2 personalities in the show. My agenda-driven opinion was that they were the 2 most compelling, and the only 2 who gave me the anticipatory chills. I am recommending it to my unbelieving family members, and I recorded it too...posterity?
You won't hear the Gospel, only the naive would expect to in a secularly produced documentary. I was glad however that no Satanic religions were given any space (save the skeptic and those for whom secular science is their god). Michael Rood was given the majority of the air, and though I am not a fan, I won't begrudge anyone who earnestly pursues God- even while towing a heresy trailer. Ain't a one of us got it all figured out and one never will in this life and flesh.
So, all in all, it was a good watch- and it can lead to conversation. And THAT....is what is most important.

Tom, I agree with your assessment. HamrickCE uploaded a bootleg today and so I watched it. I thought it was a fair treatment as well.
