I'm new to this board but have been reading and enjoying your articles! It is a blessing to see others excited as I am. I have only been recently saved and started going to church, knocking on doors, although my biblical studies started in Jan 2017. I have been praying to the Lord that I'm in his book of remembrance and counted worthy to be caught up before the time of Jacob's trouble.
As Feast of Trumpets approaches, what will you be doing? Mark Biltz has a shofar blast around the world on Wed Sept 20, sunset your time. But trumpets is a 2-day feast. Will anyone be broadcasting online? The equinox is Friday, Sept 22. Jesus mentions it when speaking about Lazarus, who was raised from the dead. I am in Pacific time, and still trying to figure out when the sign is seen in heaven in Jerusalem. Does anyone have a timeline?
John 11:9 (KJV) Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. 10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
I still have to work that week, so perhaps as best as I can, I fast, pray, take a LOT of breaks to read the bible and check online, and then go back to work. The eclipse started 10:17am pacific time, which was evening in Jerusalem, so it may happen in the day for US. Hopefully I have done enough to get into His book.
Anyone else doing anything special? Or have you worked out the timeline? God bless.

watcherI would encourage you to do a study on "grace and not works". I am not sure if there is a specific thread or post on the main page regarding this, but I think I saw something. There is nothing we can do to deserve the gift of salvation thru Jesus Christ dying on the cross for us. He was sinless and perfect. We are not and can never be. That is why it is such a beautiful gift and there is absolutely nothing we can do to be deserving of it. ◄ Romans 11:6 ► New International Version And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace There are numerous scriptures to support that we are saved though grace and not though works. Today my pastor had a lovely service on "I am depending on the Spirit of Jesus in My Journey" My takeaways from my notes sheet were: The spirit of Jesus gives us strength amd encouragement. (Ephesians 3:16-18) The Holy Spirit grows his fruit in our lives as we yield to him. (Galatians 5:16-26) What do I need to do: - I need to CONFESS all known sins and turn away (repent) from them. - I need to YIELD every area of my life to him. - I need to ASK Jesus' Spirit to fill me, lead me, comfort me, and teach me. I hope these words will being you some comfort and I pray that you have or will complete the necessary steps to salvation. The steps above I have listed generally make up the basis of the Sinner's Prayer. There is no necessity of a specific prayer, after all (my favorite takeaway from today's message)"The right way to come to faith in Jesus is WHATEVER way God brings you!" Our God is Awesome!

I'm not sure that Jesus was mentioning the equinox. Here is an explanation of the 12 hours in a day. torahcalendar.com/HOUR.aspAlso, from what I can tell playing with Stellarium is that the sign is from sunrise to sunset on the 23rd.

One of the best passages to explain there is nothing you can do to be worthy is the crucifixion account in Luke. Luke 23:32-43 is the account of the criminal who believed that Christ didn't deserve to die and he voiced his repentance not by receiting a specific prayer but by realizing he wasn't deserving of forgiveness for his sons but asked the sinless Jesus to remember him. His admission of his personal sin and realization that Christ committed no sin is the basis of repentance. Asking Christ to remember him is akin to us asking him to have his spirit dwell inside of us.
Once we have been saved though Grace, our names are written in his book. They cannot be struck out by our lack of works but only if we choose to turn our back to God and choose not to believe in him. I spent a time of my life not believing. I have repented and asked for forgiveness. I am ecstatic to know that I will be in his kingdom with him and the criminal and everyone else who declares Jesus their Lord and Saviour. It's going to be soooooo awesome!!!!!!!!

As to your question, what will I be doing?
Encouraging others to come to Christ and to strengthen their walks with Christ is what I hope to be doing. I pray that God will grant me opportunities to be his ambassador. 😀

Or have you worked out the timeline? God bless. The sign comes to completion on the 23rd (and possibly through the 24th). Here is the unsealed countdown to give you a more precise idea www.unsealed.org/p/the-sign.htmlHowever, it has been discussed throughout this forum in multiple places when the trumpets sound in Israel etc etc. This is what I've concluded from what I've read: 1. The Feast of Trumpets doesn't start *according to God* until the first sliver of moon is witnessed at sunset by two witnesses. Just because the official Feast of Trumpets starts the 20th and goes through the evening of the 22nd does not mean it actually started according to God. (The Jews have "fixed" the calendar so that FoT never falls on certain days, like the Sabbath, like Sept 23.) 2. The Jews blow the shofar both days of the official FoT dates, usually during the morning synagogue service. So, they don't typically blow them at sunset. As far as I could tell, it's usually around noon when they blow them. 3. Even if the FoT were to fall on the sabbath, like Sat Sept 23rd, the Jews do not blow the shofar that day so as to not break the sabbath. so, I don't know if there IS a timeline to go by. Rather, no man will know the day or the hour and the trumpet will come from heaven.

Thank you all for your replies. I forgot to mention I'm saved. Duh.
I understand grace through faith, but I also understand the admonitions Jesus gave to the churches in Revelation. Yes, there is our salvation, recorded in the book of life, as I understand it. But there is also the book of remembrance. We are to share the gospel and praise him and pray. I think those who know the gospel, but turn away and don't actively watch or share the gospel, those are the ones who don't get the promise. Anyway, didn't mean to get into an in depth discussion, was just wondering if others who are watching are looking for him in any special way. Thank you again. God bless.
Revelation 3:7 (KJV) ¶ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

watcher, I meant to ask you, have you been watching Perry Stone with his teachings on who will be taken in the rapture and be written in the book of remembrance? I ask because you used those words and I know he teaches those things. I started watching them too, but realized that teaching that some people who have accepted Jesus' gift of salvation through grace will not be raptured simply because they aren't watching/doing/worthy enough, is an error. I think most (if not all) people on this forum agree that the Body of Christ (everyone who has accepted Jesus' gift of salvation through grace) will completely be raptured, altogether. Jesus won't leave behind His toes or fingernails or armpit hair, lol, even though they may be unsavory. This is what gives us FREEDOM. If the son of man has set you free, you are free indeed! You don't need to worry about doing enough to be counted worthy. Here is the thread where people discuss this in this forum: unsealed.boards.net/thread/88/who-rapturedAnd congratulations on recently coming to Christ! That is the best decision you've ever made and will ever make, ever.

Welcome, watcher and duydao! Glad for your recent salvation, watcher! And yes, I believe all who are saved will go up in the rapture to meet Jesus and be with Him, but there will be certain rewards for being properly watching and waiting and being obedient to the Lord until the end. I hope this helps.

Frankly, I think the chances are elevated that I will be a semi-worthless employee at least this next week...and possibly longer! Or at least, not performing at optimal levels. Oh, I'll sure try- integrity and all, but a good friend of mine and I will be burning up the IM watching this week...fortunately, I work from home, so if I have to put in some extra hours to make up for my shortcomings, so be it. Concentration though, that will be a real challenge and since I touch and work a portfolio of accounts valued at over $800B, I might want to tread carefully!!!
