Forgive me if this has already been covered here. I couldn't find anything.
For years, the popular interpretation of Dan. 9:27 is that the AC will make a peace treaty with Israel. However, the verse doesn't say that!
It says "Then he shall confirm a covenant with many..."
There is no peace treaty signed here. The verse speaks of a "covenant" (not the same thing as a peace treaty) "confirmed" (not drawn up.)
While we're looking for a dramatic peace deal, maybe we should be looking for something else. I've always wondered if he (the AC?) confirms a covenant with many of Israel's enemies AGAINST Israel. Not WITH Israel but having to do with Israel?
Thoughts?

Evenso, I discussed/debated this with KJS in the Rapture > who will be raptured thread around page 5,6... There is another post from Brad where expounds a bit more. It may be in there too. There are basically 2 views on this piece of scripture. I was on the fence of who "He" was. Some scholars believe "He" is the AC others Jesus. Brad does a great job explaining it's AC.
