The timing and circumstances surrounding Hurricane Harvey are more than a little intriguing in my estimation. Of course, there is the fact that it comes less than a week after the Great American Eclipse took place on Elul 1, an event that many of us believed was a 40-day warning to America of impending judgment and a call to repentance as we entered into the Season of Teshuva (Elul 1- Tishri 10, which ends on Yom Kippur). However, beyond that chronological association, and perhaps with a much stronger cause-and-effect relationship, is a possible explanation that I have not heard many speak about or mention in their posts.
Evenso posted about this briefly inside of another Hurricane Harvey thread on this board, but it was buried fairly deep into the thread and I fear could be easily overlooked. For that reason, I felt like the topic deserved a thread of its own.
Back in 2006, journalist and fellow-believer Bill Koenig wrote a book called, "Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel." In it, Koenig documents historic information that establishes an astounding correlation in the timing between catastrophic events in our country and the attempts of the United States to bring pressure to bear upon Israel to divide their land in exchange for "peace and security." Given this documented historical connection, does anyone else find it more than a bit peculiar that the timing of Hurricane Harvey, and specifically when it unexpectedly picked up significantly in its intensity, coincided with the same time frame that Jared Kushner and the US peace delegation was in the Middle East reportedly working on negotiating an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal? It sure makes me wonder what kind of deal Kushner is pushing for and whether it is some modified form of a 2-state solution where the land of Israel would be split?
Genesis 12:1-3 "Now the Lord had said to Abram: 'Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Zechariah 12:3 v3 "And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it."
Things that make you go hummmmm. Other than the historical pattern alluded to above and the sense I have in my spirit, I have no other facts to substantiate this theory. But it would not surprise me one bit if it comes out we have been pushing the Israelites yet again to divide their land.
