I can certainly relate, Cwood. Many of my family members just don't want to hear about it.
Also, pride is an ongoing struggle with me. It is one of the six, yea seven things that God hates in Proverbs. A proud look. I have to constantly remind myself I need to be humble. It's not easy for me to do, but I work at it. I fail sometimes.

I fail sometimes. Watchmanjim, the very nice thing about what you said is that you're aware of it and guess what? Yeshua knows you can't be perfect and He doesn't expect you too. Amen, Rick. You are right. Meanwhile, the more we manage to humble ourselves, the more God seems to work through us. And it is possible to be both humble and bold at the same time, though it can be difficult. |

Didn't know there was a song, Mike! I was just talking about the Word of God. OH MAN JIM! you gotta hear it! Chris Tomlin, find it, check it out. You know how sometimes you hear a song and your like really moved the first couple times, then you know all the words and it kinda gets "old". Yeah this one, not for me. Not at this present time. We are so close to going HOME EDIT - see if the link works I just now watched it. Thanks for sharing. Awesome song, brought me to tears! I wanna go HOME so badly. |
