This was, and still is such a great thread!
Maybe, think about this (keeping in mind that it contains the opinion of a normal 'ol human being; thus these words will be fallible and there will be the possibility that there is sin in them):
Ok, so, we all think we are "right", yes? Pretty sure... yes.
That, in and of itself, is a sin. That sin is called Pride. We sincerely think we know, that The Holy Spirit has shown us, or whatever it is that we think are the reasons behind why we are so sure we are correct in what we say; in statements we make. I believe: Satan/those of Satan (his kingdom) are going to USE THAT. The disagreement exists (we all have varying opinions; we are human and thus fallible; and each and every one of us (including Job in the Bible)...
with blame and certainly not "blameless".
Satan and those who are Satan's grab hold of whatever the disagreement is (the sin being pride and everyone thinking "they" are right). They then attack us with it.
Now, the focus
isn't on the original topic of the thread, "what we believe Satan/the devil/demons/human beings who are knowingly possessed or influenced by satan, devil, demons... what we believe they as our common enemy know about what it to come, about end times, about prophecy seemingly coming to pass right in front of our eyes... prophecy written thousands of years ago and how much does the enemy know about it" (I think that is what topic of thread was anyway lol).
Satan is attacking and Satan is winning.
Unless we stop. Unless we ask Jesus to kill our pride and what we think we know. Unless we stand together like we should as One, the Body of Christ, and fight back.
Or... we can sit here and engage in civil war, hurt each other which means
we are hurting ourselves because we are all Christ's Body.
Hmmm. I wonder how many guests are reading on this forum right now? I wonder how many of those guests reading here
do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior? I wonder how many of those guests who are reading realize
the absolute war, chaos, disagreement, and complete mess this entire world is right now; and so they are feeling desperate, confused, looking for something... anything... just something REAL, something GENUINE, something CALMING and PEACEFUL to be able
to grab on to and to hold on to during this
storm we are in right now? This
storm that is about to get a lot worse, at least I think it is. Because they see what is happening in the world right now
just as well as we who believe in Christ see it. And so just... I wonder how many go online and search for "answers"... maybe stumble across this site?
Then they read and they see and they feel something
different about this place, about here, about us... they want to know more... they open up their Bible to the book of John and they read and they are saved and become a part of His Body that is Our Body! Maybe join this forum, maybe not, who cares because they now belong to Jesus!
Or... they stumble upon this place and they see more of the same they are used to seeing. Disagreement, bickering amongst ourselves over what in the big scheme of things... just completely meaningless "nuggets" of knowledge that have zero impact upon where we will be spending Eternity and reason we fight and argue because we have this innate need for all other human beings to see and understand that "we", that "I, Tiffany" am "right". They guests here shake their heads and say,
"MEH... I should've known. I was stupid to even look here. These people here who claim the name of Jesus are no different... Psh... maybe even worse. What a waste of time."If there is one thing I have learned this past year, it is
how wrong I am, about
everything. Everything
except Yeshua who was, who is, and who always will be perfect and the only one
whom is right. Once saved always saved or a person can lose salvation? Faith or works? Pre-trib, Mid-trib, Pre-Wrath, Post-Trib? Is the sun yellow or is it white? Is that shirt blue, or is it green? And on. And on. And on.
What I've learned is that
I know nothing, except Jesus. Back to my Game of Thrones comparison, "You know nothing, Jon Snow" (sorry, I loved that show before I was saved; still do watch it; just with VERY different eyes now).
Job was not blameless because of "what he knew". The only thing that made him blameless was God. And it is the same for us today. Jimla, Social Excile, Whatif, me, and whomever... we are
NOT blameless. If there is any believer out there who sincerely and truly believes they are blameless, that no sin is found within them, just that in my opinion (which is often wrong); IMO though, that person had better drop to their knees right now and ask God for forgiveness.
The ONLY ONE who makes us blameless is Jesus Christ.
I venture to say it will be like that also for the 144,000.
Revelation 14:5
"And in their mouth was found no guile; for they are without fault before the throne of God."
Because of Jesus, not because of themselves. Otherwise, that verse would mean there were 144,000 of Jesus walking around on earth right now. Which, could be wrong but I don't think so.
Satan attacks us for many different reasons. Sometimes it is our own fault. Sometimes not, but because God is allowing it. For Jesus, Satan tried his best to cause Jesus to sin. First by seeing if he could tempt Jesus because of His physical need (He hadn't eaten). Next by trying to get Jesus to test God (in today's terms... "hey... go ahead and sin... because you are saved anyway"). Jesus said, "NOPE". And finally, Satan tried to appeal to Jesus selfishness/need for power/need to be right aka pride by saying... "I will give you THE WORLD, every kingdom, and everything in it... just worship me". And since Jesus had NO pride, NO fault in Him, NO need to be "right"; He said in reply, "GET THEE HENCE, Satan"!
Above is all my opinion. I'm not trying to correct anyone or call anyone wrong. I am certainly of NO standing to be able to do so, as I am just as fallen as each and every person here.
God Bless, everyone! (I'm at the beach now as I type this and looking upon the most gorgeous view, inlet to the right of me, ocean to the left, and thinking how AWESOME God is, how He Made all of this. All of this for tiny, little, petty, sinful "us". And my heart swells with so much love for Him. I truly love Him so much!
