I felt down in the chops after the eclipse even tho I didn't expect the Harpazo at that time. Lately I have two emotions: wanting
out of this world/ feeling doubt it will not happen even with all the signs. And disappointment when one more minister calls us date setters.

I must be older than I thought I was or an old soul cuz I havent heard that in a long long time, LOL We are observing the signs. Let me ask would the Lord Himself rebuke you for not noticing? I have no desire to miss the rapture -- I tell you honestly -- I want out of here now.
Jesus, was "the friend" that laid down his life ... and there is no way I could ever top that......
Plus it appears it will be very scary .... and I am a coward at heart ....

I mean seriously -- it is going to be worse than a global flood that lasted how many months?
But, you are correct -- there will be a need for people here -- that POINT the WAY -- my assumption that is what the 144K is for.....

I agree. God will have His witnesses here during the Trib. People will still hear the Gospel after the church is removed.
Keep your head up because our redemption draws near.

I too just want out of here, but I am still torn by those that don't have a relationship with our Lord. This includes 3 sons and their families and
Anyone that I deal with. My wife is a believer but she thinks I'm obsessed with the rapture and tribulation. Please pray For Abba to open her eyes and ears.
God bless everyone on this forum. We will soon see each other with Jesus!!!

Henley, Slang & Its Analogues (1891) notes that chops was slang for "mouth," as in the phrases "lick the chops {CHOPS = the mouth, lips, jaws}" going back to 1655 and "down in the chops or mouth ... {Sad, melancholy}" going back to 1830. So chops as "mouth" has been around for centuries."
"down in the chops" must have been used to describe "one forced to eat mutton" which is the tough, strong tasting meat of old sheep...I am gonna guess that is how the term arose..

Then there are some good people out there who may not believe in God (at all) yet have a decent moral compass, who are living their happy lives with no idea what is looming. Thart I totally get where your coming from. My wife is saved, but she says I'm obsessed and it got to the point that she refuses to talk to me about the bible at all. She barely wants to talk about God at all and ever since I saw the Rev 12 sign, she thinks im nuts and that I need to stop researching this nonsense.
It has caused a rift in my marriage, but I just cant let go of the awesome things that God is showing me. The struggle is real.

We are all feeling similarly, but (we) have to realize others are just not where we are at. Little nuggets here and there perhaps, but not every time we see the number 33 and stuff like that. My husband doesn't really get it either. I showed him the Rev 12 sign and told him about the events in Israel's recent history that point to 2017, but it's like he didn't connect the dots. Although, he looks around at the world and knows that Jesus has to be coming back soon.
A couple of days ago my son says, "Is God going to come back before the next eclipse?" (The 2024 one) I said, "It's highly likely; He could come tomorrow." He replies, "He could come today."
I have these types of conversations with my younger two quite frequently. Usually they are the ones that initiate it also. I'm wondering if the Holy Spirit is causing them to recognize it too, even at their young ages.

I don't talk to him about it much.  He travels a lot for his job, so usually when we talk it's about the kids and what's going on with them. He struggles with anxiety also, so he told me once that reading or watching the news before bed is not a good idea for him. Until joining the discussion board here, I felt very alone. |

I can relate with that. I still feel alone, I have no one in person around me that I can talk to about this, without being told im a crazy nutjob.
