Being a man of faith and science (I have Minors in Mathematics and Physics) I was surprised to see that many years after after Sir Isaac Newton death, what he said has come true today.

I have heard that Sir Isaac Newton was very interested in Bible prophecy and trying to determine when the end of the age would occur. I suspect he would have enjoyed this forum if it had existed in his day!

That is AWESOME! Also... welcome!!!  I haven't watched it yet, but one of the youtube channels I am subscribed to, the topic of the video is this quote. It's this channel (love to listen to this man speak): www.youtube.com/channel/UCyAsKlawRiYQvmqbmd9bFLAI was never into science, astronomy, outer space, and most all of that stuff and so I don't know much about Isaac Newtown. That is my husband's forte and I think he's probably seen that Apollo movie about 5 million times. Always watching something about space whether it is Star Trek, Star Wars, or some documentary. I wish I had stayed and paid more attention instead of rolling my eyes and saying "Well, enjoy that! It's to the other television for me to watch Lifetime Movies!" (which I don't care to do much anymore) Eric thinks I have gone nuts (but most people do unfortunately) because of my recent interest in astronomy and the Heavens. However, for him, he is happy about it because he has someone to talk with about outer space (of which I used to immediately mentally check out when he started droning on with that)!  We just received a telescope I ordered from Amazon which Eric set up last night and we were zooming in on far away objects, saw a little of the moon but not much because it was really cloudy. It's an awesome telescope though! Only $79 and it has a solar filter that you can use it to look at the sun or take it off and also use at night. We'll be at the beach in SC during the eclipse and so I mainly bought it so we could get a really good view of that. Now though, I think it will be so much fun to use at home too! Anyways, back to Sir Isaac... what an amazing and accurate quote! Seems as if he is a follower of Yeshua. Wouldn't it be amazing to meet him in Heaven? |
