As thread reads, first subject is movement of the earth.
Bible reveals that earth is fixed and immovable:
- He set the earth on it's foundations, it can never be moved. (Psalm 104:5)
- Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved. (1 Chronicles 16:30)
- Indeed, the world is established, firm and secure. (Psalm 93:1)
- The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved. (Psalm 96:10)
- The pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and on them He has set the world. (1 Samuel 2:8)
God even chastises about it:
- Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who determined it's measurements — surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? On what were it's bases sunk, or who laid it's cornerstone? (Job 38:4-6)
How would one answer God if God asked him or her: "On what were earth's bases sunk?"
What happens when God shakes foundations upon which He set the earth? Earth trembles:
- He shakes the earth from it's place and it's pillars tremble. (Job 9:6)
- The windows of heaven are opened and the foundations of the earth tremble. (Isaiah 24:18)
When the time for flood came, God opened "the floodgates of the heavens" (Genesis 7:11) which is in accord with heavens above firmament and fixed earth on foundations below. In Genesis 8:2 "floodgates of the heavens had been closed".
At the same time, there are no verses that point to spinning earth moving through vast universe. Verse mentioned on this page as a clue for spinning earth - Isaiah 24:19-20 - is plain description of God's judgement upon people on earth, when God shakes the earth from it's foundations. In that verse earth is described as drunkard. Drunkard wobbles, he doesn't spin like a ballerina.
Explanations we are spoon fed about earth's movement are opposite to what the Bible reveals. Plus, we know that this world is ruled by the father of lies. And that these are end times, when deception is already quite strong, preparing it's way for grand finale.
